DO NOT GO. After buying our (overpriced) tickets cashier man (older looking) started randomly insulting my friend calling him racist slurs and other horrible things. I am completely apalled and surprised by this sudden agression. I have never met anyone as hateful like that in my whole life, definetly wasn’t expecting it from ghost museum staff. Reading other reviews, seems like other have had similiar experiences. Museum itself was only one dusty, smelly small room with ridiculous looking cheap props. Complete waste of money. Please do not support this company.

Way too expensive for what you get to see... I'd rather recommend anyone to go to the torture museum which is better. Not even my kids enjoyed the stay - it wasn't scary at all...

Unwelcoming receptionist, not working audio guide and very lame exposition. Skip this one with absolutely no regrets

Feel free to skip this one. The guides are poorly written and it's difficult to understand what you're actually looking at. Besides, it's surprisingly small. The only interesting thing was the recreation of Old Prague going downstairs, but again, they did a poor job telling the stories behind what's on the exhibition.

Definitely worth a visit while in Prague! It was very interesting to read about the city's legends and local ghost stories. It's quite interactive, so children who aren't scared too easily will have their fun here too. Moreover, there's a (quite scary) underground tunnel. However, the museum is not apt for people with wheelchairs, as there are stairs to climb.

After a long day of sightseeing it was refreshing to see the ghost stories of Prague in a fun way! The museum is interactive and we spent a good hour wandering around the building, looking for devils and wraiths 😄😈

The best part of the museum is the guy who sells tickets. The museum might be fun/scary or shocking for small children. For teens it's kitchy. Some old stuff, partially not functioning, gathered on small space. A number of figures in the basement that don't impress much. For us it was a waste of time and money.

We were here in the evening. On the first floor you can touch everything, because there are placed interactive things, but downstairs you can touch nothing, but there is spooky atmosphere and ominous sounds... Also you can buy in the museum the book of Prague legends!

So so. A bit boring. They have an app but it doesn't work on the most recent versions of Android, so it's a bit of a rip off. The only fun part is the piano.

Too small. No "wow" effect. A man who sold us tickets was not very nice.

A genuine good old fashioned tourist trap. I mean to be honest we went in expecting not much, we got not much. On the food side, the ticket gave us access to the "museum" of alchemists, which was a wee bit better.

Tourist trap. Very underwhelming. Very overpriced and rude staff. I was ridiculed by the man at the desk for my nationality.

Pretty boring place and a bit too expensive considering what is offered there. You basically get an audio guide which tells a boring story trough the whole thing. During our tour there were another couple who spoke a different language. Hearing both audio guides at the same time was very distracting and frustrating. Sorry but in my opinion it was a total tourist trap.

Nice place. Not too big, but leaves a good impression.

Nice place to visit if you have a spare hour and you are in the area. Avoid busy hours as the bottom floor is far more enjoyable if you are alone or in a small group.

Such a nice atmosphere and great audio app in most primary languages. Great props and interactive activities

  • 2/5 Max G. 2 years ago on Google
Much potential (especially the basement-level) but regarding the fact that the exhibited objects are not marked with numbers, the audio-guide (via App) is unfortunaley totally worthless because the numbers of the guide doesn't match with the numbers of the very confusing map which is given to you on the ticket.

A peculiar looking male receptionist was extremely racist and misogynistic. He said the most uncalled things, throwing racist and misogynystic remarks towards us! Never ever set foot in this place. What atrocious (looking) receptionist.

The cashier was funny (probably not the same one mentioned here in the reviews). But the overall experience was bad. It is a tourist trap, not scary, not funny. Just bad. Nice idea but probably did not go as planned. It’s a waste of money!!!
