Along the river and with the Kampa Museum, this park is nothing short of pleasant. It's the perfect amount of space with open grass for picnics. My six-year-old daughter enjoyed playing hide-n-seek, hiding behind the trees. There are also sculptures throughout.

Amazing park in Prague (Mala Strana). Several cafe and restaurants in and or near the park. In the summer time, a band plays in the park (beer and wine is available). Great place to walk and relax near the Vlatava River.

Really nice small park, also having a paid toilet. I especially liked the benches, such a cool idea and detail. A way better place to visit than the Lennon wall.

Kampa is an island in the Vltava river in central Prague on the side of Malá Strana. Charles Bridge crosses its northern tip and is connected to the island by the street ulice Na Kampě.

Nice place for a picnic with beautifull views of the river, a Glass Museum located on Kampa Islandnear Lennon's Wall. It also features a couple of interesting / fotogenic statues, search for the faceless babies and the yellow penguins.

Enjoyed the lovely evening with friends. A lot of greens. Beautiful view of Prague from a cross the river. Advisable to have a light jacket or sweater as it gets cooler after 8pm.

Love this little Park next to the river especially for the art works and in the evening they sometimes have live local music. Lots of spots to sit and have a drink and watch the boats or ducks go by. Fantastic chill spot.

One of the islands on the Vltava. This one doesn't feel like an island. Cheap beer and drinks in the little house in the middle of the park (and sometimes concerts there as well).

I came to this park for the first time with some friends for the witches bonfire night, and I found it incredibly beautiful, with live music, and beer and sausages were sold almost at every corner of the park. I loved spending the evening here, and overall it is such a beautiful park that I will surely visit again with the children!

Kampa as you may not know it: The oldest mention of Kampa can be found in 1169 in the charter of the neighboring church of Our Lady Under the Chain. Already at the beginning of the 16th century gardens were established by the island´s water mills. The name Kampa appears only in the second half of the 18th century and its origin is unclear - perhaps it is derived from the Latin word campus (field). The island grew to a height mainly due to natural floods, but also to artificial landfills, especially after the great fire of the Lesser Town and Hradčany in 1541. According to the travel portal VirtualTourist, Kampa is the second most beautiful city island in the world. Beautiful massive plane tree near Werich Villa and Liechtenstein Palace has a height of 34 meters and a circumference of almost 490 cm. Its estimated age is 200 years. Krásný mohutný platan poblíž Werichovy vily a Lichtenštejnského paláce má výšku 34 metrů a obvod téměř 490 cm. Jeho odhadované stáří je 200 let.

Park is beautiful, there are lots of tourists, trees and places to eat. Don't forget to check out the baby sculptures outside the Kampa Museum and the John Lennon wall just across the north bridge.

Huge complex "island" area with many historic sight-seeings, museum, hotels, restaurants, cafés, amazing riverbank view, cute park, yellow penguins, art gallery Kampa,, Lennon wall, small river Čertovka known from Holywood movies. Expect no cheap places, although the prices are worth the location. You can also just stroll from Smíchov to Charles Bridge through Kampa.
