Nice, large and quiet park in the central area of Prague. It's fine to have a rest here for a while but I think it's a bit overrated.

The biggest square in Prague. With a nice park in the middle and nice cafes on the side. And the New Town Hall which offers a nice panoramic view of the city from the top of the tower - not many tourists know about this viewpoint.

It is the largest square in Prague, and said to be the largest in Europe, but unfortunately a little off the many tourists lanes through the town. Pity as it was the witness to many historical events = the beginning of Hussite revolution, the gathering of pilgrims, the last fight of Czech heroes who killed Reinhard Heydrich 1942

Large green park in the centre of Prague. Three different tram stops. Two playgrounds. Parking on the top side is paid. Watch for dog droppings if walking on grass.

The park and gardens are a serene oasis, with vibrant flower beds, peaceful water features, and well-maintained pathways. Perfect for strolls, picnics, or quiet reflection, it offers a delightful escape into nature's beauty. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility amidst the bustling city.

Karlovo náměstí is a overbearing tourist spot by now and the only good thing about it are the food spots like Ovocný Světozor or Wokin

(Translated by Google) Hello. We were in the park for children quite a nice place, but the board on which you can draw with chalk should be repainted because it is stained with spray and unfortunately there is no toilet, so minus. (Original) Dobrý den Byli jsme v parku pro děti docela pěkné místečko ale tabule na kterou se dá kreslit křídama by se měla znovu natřít protože je počmáraná sprejema a není tu bohužel ani toaleta takže minus.

The surrounding area is really nice. You can find awesome bulids here and there. However, the park is full of questionable people and I'd not recommend staying in local park for too long especially if you are alone. The square is quite crowded so it's unlikely that you'd get attacked but the presence of those questionable people can make you feel really uncomfortable and it might ruin the experience of the visit. If you want to see beautiful buildings in Prague I'd recommend other places. If you're looking especially for a square, then I'd suggest Wenceslas Square or Old Town Square. This isn't a place where you want to stay for a long time.

A very nice park in the center of town to take a break from walking around. The public transit stops here can take you anywhere in the city. Every now and then there will be a free concert or small festival/market on the south side. FYI while it is nice during the day it's a popular sleeping spot for the homeless at night. Generally in Prague they keep to themselves but it might be best to stick to the sidewalks around the edges near the tram lines.

Sometimes (once a year, end of April, beginning of May?) there are free concerts on the southern half of the square that are organised by the city. A one afternoon mini-jazz festival. Worth attending.

(Translated by Google) The part near the town hall has a beautiful park with a fountain. Karlovo náměstí is also an important transport hub with 9 day trams and one night tram, metro line B, buses. From Charles Square there is also a post office, drugstore, Albert, Billa. A short walk to the Vltava River is Resslova Street, which connects with the history of Czech partisans and the Orthodox Church of St. Cyril and Methodius, who became the last refuge of Adolf Opálka, Jozef Gabčík, Jan Kubiš, Josef Valčík, Josef Bublík, Jan Hrubý and Jaroslav Švarc after the assassination of the Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich.

(Translated by Google) Nice park, clinic and hospital, trams and a few shops. Parking is quite bad here, you sometimes have to take the trams by subway, in Štěpánská there is no barrier-free stop. Park for a good meeting. (Original) Hezký park, poliklinika i nemocnice, tramvaje i pár obchodů. Parkuje se tu dost špatně, k tramvajím musíte někdy podchodem, ve Štěpánské zase není bezbariérová zastávka. A really nice place with a nice little park... you can take the tram and subway there! But be aware... You can get lost really easily! There is a Billa store located at the Karlovo náměstí (Charles Square)... so if you need to buy any supplies you can go there!

There is plans for an extensive remodel of the park. The initial change adding more pedestrian crossings made is a lot better already. If the next step is to clean some of the less well to do individuals that tend to sleep/drink/do other things there I think it be a nice place even later in the day and early in the morning. For now though I would suggest not bothering with early morning or late night strolls through the park unless you are looking to spend some time among the homeless/drug addicts and drunks that tend to gather there as soon as it's dark out.
