A
magical
little
patch
on
the
site
of
the
former
summer
theater
under
the
church
of
St.
Apollinaire.
When
the
weather
is
nice,
it's
great
here
and
there
aren't
that
many
tourists
either.
From
the
Middle
Ages
to
the
beginning
of
the
20th
century,
above
the
viewpoint,
in
Apolinářské
Street,
in
building
No.
6,
there
used
to
be
the
famous
Jedová
chýše
pub,
known
for
its
bad
reputation.
Already
in
the
fourteenth
century,
it
was
a
place
of
frequent
assaults
and
murders.
The
pub
was
demolished
in
1933,
so
it
was
apparently
the
pub
with
the
longest
continuous
existence
in
the
Czech
Republic.
A
functionalist
apartment
building
by
the
architect
Josef
Kalous
was
built
in
its
place.
