(Translated by Google) A wonderful set of gardens that are worth seeing. Nicely maintained. From the hustle and bustle of the city for the soul and body. (Original) Nádherný súbor záhrad, ktoré sa oplatí určite vidieť. Pekne udržiavané. Z ruchu veľkomesta balzam pre dušu a telo.

(Translated by Google) Based on a lot of positive reviews, we wanted to look at this place and enjoy the sunset over Prague. To the great disappointment, we found out on the spot that the garden is already after 7 pm. closed, although on the prague.eu website the opening hours are listed until 9 pm during July. It would be nice to state the current opening hours of the gardens directly on google, in order to avoid similar misunderstandings ...

Don't be fool by them. They make it look as if you need to pay 5 euros to see the castle. When you are tourist you easily believe it. Castle is free, Don't pay for this ugly dried "garden"

We entered by chance and we were glad that we found it. It’s free for children and only 2 eur for adults and we avoided the crowd and enjoyed pleasant sun on the way to Hradčany. It’s romantic walk through vineyard and roses garden up the stairs on southern side of the hill instead of street walk in the shadow. I would advise it in autumn. Nice views all the way. Very nice cafeteria at the end.

(Translated by Google) Most of the gardens belong to the Polish embassy and are inaccessible. The public can only get to the terrace garden on the hill below Prague Castle. The whole area can be walked very quickly. However, it is a beautiful place where you can sit all afternoon and admire the views. On the highest terrace, by the castle stairs, there is a cafe where they have good battens. They also offered home-made apple wrap and honey cake. There is a clean toilet under the cafe. Nabizeli tam i domaci jablecny zavin a medovnik. Pod kavarnou je ciste WC.

The Fürstenberg Garden is a place I never noticed before, The entrance is next to the Polish Embassy and the Garden actually sits above of the Embassy and it's worth your time. Also if you are going down from Praha castle, the entrance is along the stairs leaving the Castle!

(Translated by Google) Four, because not everywhere could go. The sidewalks were barred and mostly stood there guarding Private Gump. Otherwise, beautifully maintained garden, each tree, shrub has a board with a name and description. .... The first time I saw Metasekvoju Chinese ☺️ (Original) Štyri preto, lebo nie všade sa dalo ísť. Chodníky boli zatarasene a poväčšine tam stál a strážil vojin Gump. Inak záhrada krásne udržiavaná, každý strom, krík má tabuľu s názvom a popisom. .... Prvýkrát som videl Metasekvoju čínsku ☺️

Beautiful walk to go up to the castle but it’s a shame to pay 50Kr and not be able to see any trees because they’re all dry. There’s a nice view of Prague and at the top there is a cafe with some outdoor seats where we had a nice beer (which was cheap)!

Fürstenberg Garden is situated under Hradčany - Prague Castle and St. Vitus gothic cathedral. If you want to surprise your loved one (ones) while visiting beautiful Prague, this is the way to get to the castle avoiding crowds. The entrance is from a street nearby Malostranská Metro Station. It costs CZK 50,- to use this path to get the castle. It is worth it. Views are beautiful, there are benches to sit on and a cafeteria on top. Then you look at the masses behind the wall and realise how clever you were using this alternative way:-)

Nice view from Villa Richter. We have spend a nice wee hour with the glass of wine and beer. 😎

  • 4/5 The K Green S. 9 months ago on Google
It was a very nice garden with mostly roses along the path. The garden can be used to short cut up to Prague Castle but you don't have to go thru this garden to get there. Garden is 2.5 euro per person. View from the top is very nice.

  • 4/5 Zsuzsanna B. 4 years ago on Google
Nice stairs up to the castle Unfortunately the roses were not blooming You need to pay 50 CZK to enter, but the fee is used for renewal of the garden

  • 4/5 Patrik R. 6 months ago on Google
a very nice garden but probably not worth it if you are on a budget (the entrance is 2.50€), you can get this view for free

  • 1/5 Gianna P. 5 months ago on Google
Unless you are looking for a shortcut to the castle, there is nothing to see. The beautiful garden you see at the entrance is not part of the Furstenberg Garden. Not to mention that 50 czk is not 2,5 euros!

Not for People who have mobility problems. A lot of steps, but worth the view.

  • 5/5 Tom J. 7 years ago on Google
I just love this garden, there's so much to see in and around it. Make sure to check it out and not just the nearby stairs leading down.

  • 5/5 Nick H. 6 years ago on Google
Lovely garden, with a great view over both the city and the Charles Bridge (Karlow Most) - The garden contains poles with wine on it, some shops and a more unbeaten path down the road. Worth a small visit, for the view and the atmosphere!

  • 4/5 K A. 6 years ago on Google
Quiet gardens just below the castle. Nice for a break from the busy city centre. Small cafe too - a )ittle expensive but nice homemade iced tea.

  • 5/5 Joanna N. 7 years ago on Google
Most amazing garden in all of Prague. There is a small entrance fee but it's so worth visiting- basically a vertical park!
