A well hidden terrace garden, very rural Italian in feel, it gives you a panoramic view of the city below just like Vrtbovská Garden, however, this one is more carefree in nature and I mean it in a good way. Not many people here as well, and I assure you it’s well worth the 200 CZK you pay for entry.

Nice gardens with great views of Prague. It’s sad that you have to pay to enter now and cannot access the castle or vice versa. Used to be different last time I was there (2019).

(Translated by Google) If you go by, be sure to stop by. Set of nice manicured gardens. Pleasant place to relax right in the city center. From the upper parts of the gardens nice views of the historic Lesser Town. (Original) Ak pôjdete okolo, určite sa zastavte. Súbor pekných udržiavaných záhrad. Príjemné miesto na oddych priamo v centre mesta. Z horných častí záhrad pekné výhľady na historickú Malú Stranu.

Really pretty garden but most of it was closed for construction during the visit and we were not told that when buying our tickets... also they casually forget to mention there are about 300 stairs going up and it’s directly in the sunlight so during summer it’s brutal and not very enjoyable.

A real hidden gem! The gardens were amazingly beautiful, price of tickets was pretty low and there wasn't many people at all. We were able to enjoy them in our own pace., took some pictures with great views and had a lot of fun 😍❤

If you want to walk into a ferrytale, this is your got to go. Well preserved and stunning in combination with the views of the city. Start the walk from the easy east side and end your walk at the west towards the Charles bridge so you wont miss a thing!

Nice stroll to view the terraced gardens. The view from the spire is phenomenal. Take a few moments to look behind you while climbing. Small fee to enter. No facilities inside, so plan on a toilet stop before heading inside.

Beautiful terraces and many stairs to panoramic views of Prague. They are renovating and there wasn’t much in the way of gardens as it is mid-April. Cost was 130 Koruna per adult.

Went there because of Shah Rukh and his movie harry met sejal. They had shot the song mein bani teri radha at this site. It was worth the few $$ i paid for it i think it wasnt very expensive probably much nicer during summer i went in mid October so the season was gone for flowers. I did bring a keepsake flower with me 🙌🏽

We found this to be the most special place in Prague city. Away from the crowd, we stumbled into this hidden gem. Terraces of gardens ascend upward to a deck where you can see a beautiful cityscape of Prague. The interesting structure of the gardens had a fairytale atmosphere to it. We visited in October, but I expect the garden to be at its best in summer, as we noticed a lot of hydrangeas, roses, and lavenders.

Nice enough scenic gardens. Could do with better signs to guide visitors around, we stumbled across the exit almost by mistake. Do not visit if you have trouble with stairs or heights!

  • 1/5 Winston G. 1 year ago on Google
This is NOT the route to take if u wanna capture scenic views of Prague; nor the way to Prague Castle - so DO NOT pay to enter! Instead, take the Old Castle Stairs (aka "Stare zamecke schody") just a few mins walk up the street. Head towards "Pod Bruskou" & turn left walk pass the small corner park & the stairs is there on ur left.

  • 4/5 Salatyn K. 1 year ago on Google
Not enough place to be explored. The whole walk takes around 10 minutes. Nice, but does not deserve the money you will pay for it.

Can't recommend in April. Half of the gardens were closed due to maintenance. No flowers or whatsoever, it was quite disappointing. We paid 140 CZK each.

Stunningly beautiful! For a city that is packed with people, this garden was quiet and peaceful, and so close to all the madness

Really nice place to be. I loved the ambient of the place. However, the staff who was waiting at the end to close the door was really unfriendly coz I was probably the last one and he was kind of pissed to keep waiting. But to be honest, if i have to ignore the event I would definitely recommend it

The gardens are a stunning, maze-like series of winding paths and multiple levels, but the clear signposts make it easy to navigate. Really beautiful place to have a nice walk and take in the exceptional views of the city.

  • 5/5 Marco S. 8 months ago on Google
This place is so beautiful one could spend hours there. It’s also very quiet, since apparently very few tourists know about it (i went there at peak time, when up at the Castle you could hardly move because of how packed it was). IMHO best value for money in Prague.

Nice terrace garden just under the Prague Castle (you cannot reach castle from here!). Entrance is like 6€ and you can pay by card. Maybe try Waldstein garden across the street which is free (entrance is right near metro A station "Malostranská"

It's beautiful place to stop while visiting Malá Strana (Lesser Quarter) and Pražský hrad (Prague Castle) The entrance is right in front of the Valdštejnský palác (Walenstein palace having a nice garden to visit as well) the seat of Czech Senate. You can climb almost up to the Prague castle and visit several small gardens. The Great Pallfy garden being the biggest one with nice fontain. 90CZK worh spending as You will certainly like exceptional view of the city and Petřín Hill. Unfortunately you can get to the castle as our President Zeman made it as difficult as possible and you can enter it only on few places equipped with metal detectors and safety controls.

(Translated by Google) The castle gardens are nothing short of beautiful. It's hard to imagine what it would be like when everything is in bloom. Entry costs 50 kroner and access is only possible if you come from the castle and turn right into a small entrance. (Original) Die Gärten der Burg sind einfach nur schön. Wonderful view which unfolds from step to step. Entry price is justified. The corridors are a bit narrow and sometimes steep. Beautiful terraces with vines, figs or peach trees. The most beautiful was currently a pink flowerbed with seating. (Original) Nádhera v centru Prahy. Můžete obdivovat historickou zahradu založenou na základech italské zahrady. Nahoře úchvatný výhled na Prahu. Krásné terasy s révou, fíky nebo broskvoněma. (Translated by Google) We were quite looking forward to the gardens below Prague Castle - the photos were really beautiful. Although we knew about the information about the closure of the two gardens, three, we hoped that there would be something to look at. Well, unfortunately, one separate garden for 90 crowns, which you can walk in 5-10 minutes, and there is really nothing to look at but the view from the hill to Prague is a bit about nothing ... I would definitely recommend waiting for the other two gardens to open, as the current state is really about nothing, a waste of time and money. As long as the remaining gardens are under reconstruction, I do not recommend.
