The park itself is not impressive I might say. Still, it has a playground for the children that is frequented by the locals. Moreover, the runners will find the park and continued pathway along the river a nice choice (whenever it didn't rain before) too. There is a kiosk for beers and burgers at the entrance (opens in spring and summer only)

(Translated by Google) A beautiful small park on an oval rocky promontory above the right bank of the Rokytka is somewhat hidden behind the buildings of the Libeň chateau and grammar school. Unlike Pod Korábem Park, it was almost empty. For me, it has become an ideal place to relax, recharge your phone and enjoy a can of beer. The orchards, covering an area of over five hectares, were founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the prominent Czech landscape architect František Thomayer, the brother of the famous physician Josef Thomayer. In the orchards you will not find the spring of St. Adalbert, whose water is led by a pipe into a concrete reservoir, and the Libeňka well. On the western edge of the park, a viewing platform with seating has been built, from where, despite the mature trees, there is a partial view of the blind branches of the Vltava, Holešovice and Karlín. An educational trail created by pupils of Bohumil Hrabal Elementary School leads through the park, which, in addition to the history of Libeň and natural values, recalls the personality of the writer Eduard Štorch, who lived in Liben. (Translated by Google) I go through Thomayer's orchards while walking from Žižkov to Troja. Quiet park with lots of benches and a large playground, near Rokytka and later Vltava is a very popular path for both pedestrians and wheelers of all kinds.

Park is nice. There is a nice path to walk up the hill along the river as well. Some people are fishing. But a lot of junk is floating in the water, totally ruining the view. There are also many flies during summer.

Great park in Prague located in the hills with a great views of the city especially when the sun goes down, come here especially for the sunset. At the hill, down the hill you can find a big area kids playground witch is covered by the tree leaves during the summer so kids play in the shade.

Thomayerovi Sady is a tranquil haven nestled in the heart of the city. The lush greenery, serene ponds, and vibrant flower displays create a picturesque escape from urban hustle. It's an ideal spot for leisurely strolls, picnics, or simply unwinding amidst nature's beauty. The historical significance adds depth to the experience, making it not only a park but a cultural treasure. However, some areas might benefit from maintenance. Overall, Thomayerovi Sady offers a refreshing retreat for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike, a place where one can momentarily disconnect and rejuvenate the senses.

(Translated by Google) An interesting park with a view, a terrace, a rock formation, a well and rare flora. At the river at the confluence of Rokytka and Vltava it is possible to see or. feed vegetables wild ducks with one stray homemade. Not very shy Nutria runs between them. Children have the opportunity to look at the insect hotel at the description board. And finally a large playground with many attractions. (Original) Zajímavý park s vyhlídkou, terasou, skalním útvarem, studánkou a vzácnou květenou.

I like that place, nice walk walk along the billabong of Vltava River. My opinion can be little bit distorted, because I grown up here. Anyway, when you are lucky and when it is freezing long enough during the winter, you can try natural ice skating on the billabong here. Nice experience. :)
