It’s a beautiful historical building and when you walk through the passage connecting Vaclavske namesti and Na Prikope street, make sure you don’t forget to look at the ceiling above you. This building is magnificent. It’s a great example of Czech architecture of the beginning of the 20th century. Another piece of the building is visible for the public in Benetton shop where you can see a gorgeous staircase. Apart from the historical part, there are several shops and restaurants located inside. I would recommend Pizza Coloseum or El Emir. Koruna also hosts several brand chains like Benetton or Desigual. But don’t expect to see a proper shopping mall with toilets or information centre - here there are not many shops and all are separate, and main part of the building belongs to the offices.

I highly evaluate Palac Koruna as a sample of Czech national architecture and a gem of Art Nouveau style with characteristic traits of National Romanticism. This is why for me it is not easy to accept a Lebanese restaurant in such a building complex, though it's design is made to fit the interior.

Koruna Cafe is one of the hidden gems of Praha 1, and especially Vaclavak... Their daily menu is one of the best I've found anywhere in this part of Europe, with big portions and freshly made delicious daily offerings. The location is also very nice and relaxed- something you'll wish for after hours of walking around- and the staff is very friendly. I look forward to my next visit!
