Bhoemia crystal & souvenir: small forniture at insanley high prices, plus they were very rude toward us, the alla time we spent in the shop they were racist toward us as Italians, accusing us of robbery without any sort of proof. Terrible experience, stay away from this shop, there are many better on the same street.

My wife and I walked into here to buy 7 t-shirts for family and friends. There are stacks of t-shirt lined up against the wall. We had pulled out a stack of shirts from the back corner to get the appropriate sizes and a woman walked up and grabbed the stack out of my hand, put it down and said do not hold. I was very surprised by her demeanor towards us. I had been picking out shirts and even trying to refold the ones we had changed our minds over. We had only looked through 3 or 4 stacks of shirts after picking out the style we liked from the wall display. Apparently you're not allowed to look through the shirts to find the right size you need. We had already selected several shirts and were trying to find others. She was very rude even as I politely and calmly tried to explain that we're trying to just pick out the right size. Never did I get angry or react rudely to her. We try very hard to be respectful as we are aware that tourists often get a bad reputation for being rude so we go above and beyond to be courteous. After the rude treatment we decided to take our business elsewhere so I neatly placed the shirts we had intended to buy on top of the shirt stacks and walked out. As we left the store this same woman followed us to the door and said "Go to hell"! We have been in Prague for about 2 weeks and this is our first experience with anybody being blatantly rude to us. She actually treated us so disrespectfully that I can't believe they there to sell to tourists.I would highly recommend avoiding this store and not give them any business.

This is a mocking on the king on the horse made by an artist. It is inside a small mall next to a cinema 🎥. If you don't take te effort you will miss it. It is a real nice way to make a protest. The statue is pretty and if sun comes from the back really beautiful lighting for a 📸..

A must visit place if you are around the old city of Prague. It is an intricate system of passages runs under the Art Nouveau Lucerna Palace from 1920 connecting Vodickova and Stepanska streets. The Lantern passage, or Lucerna Passage is one of the largest and the most interesting places there. It is connected in a maze of passages. Underneath the Palace you will find the entrance to the Lucerna Theater & the Lucerna cinema, and the most interesting of all is an upside down version of St. Wenceslas and his horse sculpted by David Cerny. The statue is hanging from the atrium of the Lucerna passage. Highly recommended.

Wonderful passage from art nouveau times. It has a lot of old elements, like copper sills, beautiful tile patterns on the floor, intricate decorations.

Historical passage full of vintage shops and caffes with the suspended upside down horse being the main attraction. Nothing more to look further, just a crossing passage really well built.

HANGING FROM THE CEILING OF the Art Nouveau Lucerna Palace in Prague, an ancient king rides triumphantly astride… an upside-down, apparently dead horse. Created by Prague-born artist David Černý, whose claim to fame was the painting a Soviet tank pink as a memorial to the Velvet Revolution, he’s also known for his unsettling large scale installation piece of babies crawling their way up the Prague television tower, among other works of modern surrealism. The sculpture is a mocking reference to the more famous equestrian statue of King (and later, Saint) Wenceslas that sits in Wenceslas Square, and possibly a mocking nod to Czech president Vaclav Klaus, although the artist will not say what his intentions were.

(Translated by Google) Building complex with the morbid charm of the 1920s. Unfortunately a bit distorted by modern modifications. On closer inspection, however, there are always nice details that give an idea of the former beauty of this building complex. The entire building was classified as a national monument a few years ago and gives hope for renovation. (Translated by Google) A very, very beautiful passage. Don't be afraid and come in! The Lucerna Palace which houses this passage was completed in 1921. Of Art Nouveau architecture with a little oriental bazaar side, it is linked to the name of the former president Václav Havel because his grandfather was one of the builders of the place. Lots of interesting things to see in this passage. Here is what you should not miss once you enter this socio-urban artery of the city center: The Lucerna Passage is home to David Černý's famous overturned horse which should stay there until the Czech Republic returns to the monarchy. In this passage, you will also find the splendid Kino Lucerna, the first talking cinema in the country in 1929 (when in La Môme, Marion Cotillard / Edith Piaf sings, that's where it was filmed). The ticket office is located near the horse. To access the room, you will need to climb the stairs and pass by the lavish Lucerna Café (a place I highly recommend you go).

Famous artist David Cerny sculpted this political statement about the ruling head of Czechia government. There you will find the entrance to the Lucerna Theater, the Lucerna cinema, a rock club, unique boutiques, a wine shop, new age crystal stores, Lucerna cafe, and even an upside down version of St. Wenceslas and his horse, by the one and only David Cerny hanging from the atrium of the Lucerna passage.

Art nouveau architecture. Totally out of Time and so charming. A lot of details make the place unique. Have a cofee here or just go through the passage, it's free. Don't miss the David Cerny upside down horse statue in front of the old cinema : king Wenceslas riding a dead horse. Impressive.

This is a must see in Prague. Sculpture of saint Vaclav on upside downed horse by Adam Černý might be a bit troubling at first but it's coherent within the artist. Whole building is in art nouveau style and has great view form the roof, where you can get by paternoster lift (wicked aparatus).

This is a dark, dank aisle at the end of which is the most bizarre sculpture I've ever seen. It's a man riding on the belly of an upside down animal with its tongue sticking out its nostril.

Good place for a ball. Enough toilets and bars inside, enough place to dance. But they don't accept credit cards, cash only. Wardrobe isn't free, one item= 30kč. Prices in the bar are okay, 50kč for a beer, 75 for a shot of tequila and 60 for cider

Lucerna Passage is a historic shopping arcade. The passage is a fine example of Art Nouveau architecture, with its ornate façade and elegant interior features such as marble columns and decorative mosaics. Over the years, Lucerna Passage has been home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural venues. Today, it remains a popular destination for both tourists and locals alike, with its eclectic mix of boutiques, cafes, and galleries.

If you're eager to see some of the most old fashioned/vintage side of old prague, come see the Lucerna passage. It's a small and well hidden gem in the middle of the shopping street. It's an shopping mall on it's own with a cinema and many other beautifull shops!

This cinema is a special place. I grew up in Prague and saw many great movies here as a kid, unaware of what an incredible theatre this was at the time. It's a beautiful theatre with an ornate ceiling and such charm. It sounds cheesy but they really don't build them like this anymore!

Check out this beautiful labyrinth of early twentieth-century passageways – the precursor to today's shopping malls. While sadly some of the premises are empty, you'll still find an assortment of quirky and unusual small shops and cafés, all a refreshing change to the tourist hell of the main thoroughfares. The Lucerna cinema and coffee shop are at the heart of this place. Accessible from Wenceslas Square, Vodičkova and Štěpánská.
