I had the goulash. Not bad at all, but not fantastic either. Long Island Iced Tea was brilliant. Red wine was just okay. Staff really on the ball - quick and keen and attentive. Husband had dumplings on red cabbage. Enjoyable. I love that you can 'pay it forward' by buying a meal for someone who couldn't otherwise afford it.

Visited this place twice during my stay in Prague. Both of my experiences were excellent. The food tasted really good, and the portion sizes are filling. The restaurant has very warm staff, fast service, and very reasonable prices. Although they don't have a menu in English, you can ask the waiting staff and they will help you understand. Or you could just translate it with their Wifi. It seems to be a pretty popular spot, as it had very few free spots even during the off season time. So I recommend to reserve a table if you wish to dine here during the peak season.

When in Prague you need to go to Strecha! Vegan Czech cuisine so delicious you won’t believe! Greetings from Poland! The place is very big and still booked in later hours so better to have reservations! In lunch time it’s easier to have a table with no reservations. I loved the cozy atmosphere, plants, beer but let’s get to the food: Vegan fried cheese- 11/10 super delicious! Maybe add a little bit more of greens to make it less heavy? But super delicious! Vegan ribs- 6/10 interesting but not meaty enough for me- I could just taste beetroot, however the cumin bread and red onion marmalade was to die for! Vegan beer goulash 7/10 very good sauce but the dish itself is a little boring just bread and sauce and the soy chunks were not something Extraordinary for me. However this is true to Czech cuisine and worth trying! We loved our visit and highly recommend to everyone!

Lovely little vegan place with a great vibe. Serves traditional Czech food made vegan - even tlačenka! Big highlights of the menu are the goulash and the smoked soy dumplings. There's also a nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Coffee leaves quite a lot to be desired - quite weak and very sweet (presumably due to the non-dairy milk which is sweetened) so not to my taste, but this isn't somewhere you would be going just for a coffee anyway. Reasonable prices and friendly, prompt service (for non Czech speakers: the staff all speak excellent English).

Love finding amazing vegan places when traveling especially when going back to Prague. This place is serving some super delicious vegan food and good beer. Fixed menu and daily menu available. They have special beer on offer that changes regularly. The place has great vibe, Czech pub vibe with super friendly, English speaking staff. Love the concept and that you can prepay lunch for someone who cannot afford it. Don’t miss it when in Prague. So many good food you will need to go back to try more (like we did)

This place is amazing. The food is simply great, the prices are so cheap - it is unbelievable. Go there, eat, drink ,(their homemade lemonades are sooo good), have a great time and I highly recommend to pay for a meal for people in need. Donate 100ckr which is round about 4€ and make it possible, that places like these can still afford to exist and be a place of comfort for those who have less than you. It's my favourite place in Prague for all of these reasons.

Nice food and friendly staff! I came here because my apartment was very close and the reviews were quite good. We didn’t take any vegan dish, but the food was very tasty. We took some traditional Czech food, but it wasn’t the typical stuff for tourists. Recipes were a bit different from other places and it tasted more “local”. However, I was expected bigger portions. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. In summary, even if this place is famous for vegan food, I would also recommend it for the rest of the menu.

Everything is vegan and served by the the nicest staff! We had the schnitzel with potato salad and also the baked cheese with fries. That cheese is out of this world! Update (2nd time): I had the dark beer goulash with a dumpling and it was nice. The dumpling was a little dry but the goulash itself was fabulous. My friend had the stuffed dumplings on red cabbage an i must say that the cabbage was the best dish on the whole table. Delicious.

Really authentic vegan Czech food. It was really hearty and yummy and so good to be able to try traditional food while being plant based. They also had a great selection of drinks and beer and super friendly staff!

The food was great. We especially loved the schnitzel and the fries. Not a huge fan of the fried cheese or the dumplings - which were both ok. I wish we'd ordered the BBQ ribs. Server wasn't very attentive, but that might be due to the language barrier (we don't speak Czech), so I'll take the blame for that. Very reasonable prices.

Amazing vegan food for a good price! The service was fast and professional. I ordered the fried cheese with salad and fries, and I must say I find it tastier than normal cheese. My boyfriend ordered the kebab and it was mindblowingly yummy. Also, they have great beer! I couldn't recommend this place enough - it's truly a hidden gem in the center of Prague. :) Last but not least, their kurkuma latte is to die for - such a great taste!

Food here was so good we came back again. Got to try some traditional food which we really enjoyed. There was some live gypsy music one day when we were there. Cheap meal and drinks.

I love this restaurant so much. Not only is it an amazing way to experience czech food for vegans, but they also do great things for the community. There’s an option to donate meals for those in need and I think that’s so amazing. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Gerne wieder.

It was... okey. The soup was amazing, but the main dish was pretty bland. The waitress didn't seem to feel comfortable communicating in English.

One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The food was incredible, so good that I forced myself to eat a second portion 😅 Additionally, the Staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was very cosy and the 3 meals we had together cost almost as much as I spent for just one the very next day.

I generally do not like vegan food to look and taste like meat (think of a Beyond Meat burger), so if you are of that opinion, you may want to skip this place. I just felt like I had eaten unhealthy food that happened to be vegan. The lemonade was delicious, and I gave an extra star for the concept.

Such tasty food. Everything feels like the ultimate comfort food. Once again, wanting to taste too many items, leads to over ordering. But everything was so goos, it was worth it.

Wonderful vegan restaurant in the heart of Prague. We ordered the tomato soup, bread with pickled tofu, fries, and two types of burgers. This vegan co-op has staff that were previously homeless or were in the prison system. The social enterprise aspect combined with really great Vegan food make this place a total winner!

This place has a great vibe. Staff are attentive and efficient. For my taste the food was not so good. The dumplings and cabbage were too salty. The fried chickpeas on the salad are weirdly chewy. Chickpeas are so nice just boiled. Otherwise the salad was quite basic. But overall it’s a nice experience.

Nice place to eat as a vegan since everything on the menu is vegan, so you don't have to double check the ingredients which is neat. The staff is super friendly and also quite well in English. The cakes were the highlight of this meal

My husband and I got 2 meals here during our week in Prague. It was the first place we ate after getting in from the airport and what a way to begin our visit to Prague. The pickled tofu is outstanding, we're trying to figure out how to do it here at home in the states. The Kebab plate, ribs in plum sauce, halusky with cheese and smoked tofu, and the lunch special that was like sausage and beer (sorry I can't remember the name and it's not on the website) were all out of this world. The atmosphere is great, staff is kind, and the drinks delicious. You must go here if you're visiting Prague!

this place is incredible, i recommend it to absolutely everyone. i am astonished at how it's just amazing in all the ways. awesome (all vegan) food, good prices, well sized portions, good music, great ethics, what more do you want?

The food was delicious and the waiters were very nice and very helpful. The place was well decorated and it gave a relaxing and cheerful vibe. The only downside was the prices went up a bit, but still worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

Very delicious vegetarian options in this restaurant! Service was also really nice and comfortable. I like the concept A must try when in Prague!

  • 3/5 Eiline H. 11 months ago on Google
The food was good but not outstanding. The interior of the restaurant is very traditional Czech I guess? So nothing special and comfy. Also the service was not really attentive and at the end we had two more drinks on the bill than we consumed, so be aware (no surprise in Prague/Czech, but still want to mark it)!

We came here twice during our trip to Prague. We recommend trying the daily lunch menu, which will fill you up at a very affordable price. We also loved the garlic soup.

Czech style vegan dishes. Highly recommend to try the goulash and the stuffed dumplings. Goulash tastes better (says the meat lover!), and is cheaper while the serving is even bigger than at U Flecku, which is situated right next door.

awesome vegan place, so satisfying, well cooked and flavorful. I had some vegan ribs with custard coating, pickles, fresh bread. The gyros and kebab plate where amazing too. They have a nice selection of deserts too. Really friendly staff and the place is huge!

Love the place, the treatment, and the food looks yummy! Went there for cake and it was tasty, but I'm definetly coming back for the daily menu. Quality-price 100%

Wow what a great vegan restaurant. I had the special of the day which was a vegan lasagna. Best lasagna I've had yet. The prices were great too. Fast and friendly service as well. I would love to go back and try more of the foods that are available. Five out of five! Ps the cherry juice is to die for!

It's all vegan menu and we ordered the rips and the stuffed dumplings. The rips are ok but they are nothing really simulating the real rips (unless some asia vegetarian food) and they tasted like more salted brownie. The side bread is over a day's old, which is unpleasant considering it is a restaurant. They made great red cabbage for the stuff dumplings. nice beer. But don't have too high expectation for the food except it is branded vegan.

Found this place looking for vegan joints in Prague and fell in love instantly. Great burgers! Definitely my bistro of choice whenever in Prague.

  • 3/5 Andreea P. 2 years ago on Google
I liked the food and the people, but I'm giving it 3 stars because of the smell, the frying smell was too strong, it makes you feel sick and can't stay for too long. they need to find a way to air the place.

We were quite surprised about the nice, warm and comfortable spot. We both had the kebab plate and were more than happy with the food. Absolutely delicious! We were sad that we weren't able to try more of the menu ;) The staff was not very welcoming, but we can't say that they have been rude or so. It was okay. Very cheap prices. Would recommend!

I came here during my stay in Prague. We tried the Chilli Burger and the Kebab Wrap. Both were really good, but the Chilli Burger was definitely a notch above. Good portion sizes. Cappuccino was okay, tasted sweet without any added sugar, which I presume was from the milk they used. The raspberry lemonade was very tart and had a lot of fresh raspberry pulp in it. The guy at the counter was very sweet and helpful. English menu is available.

  • 5/5 Eugenia M. 1 year ago on Google
We had just a very quick go-through coffee with brownie- but the place leaves an impression of being well-cared for by staff/owners, the quality and service was very good. The price is also very attractive for a vegan treat( 40 krones) as well as coffee. Almost all menu is Czech cuisine veganized💪🏻the interior is modest. The one thing I would prefer better is a warmed brownie and not from the fridge

  • 5/5 Ian G. 2 years ago on Google
One word: Amazing! All of the vegan dishes are crazy delicious :) The prices are also so crazy low it's insane. My girlfriend and I sat here and ate for 2 hours, had 4 drinks, 3 dishes, and the total was only 19€! Definitely would recommend to any vegans looking for some great, quick, cheap food!

  • 5/5 Carlos R. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing place! The dishes are delicious, the staff super friendly (they have an english menu). It’s maybe the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been.

  • 5/5 Brian D. 1 year ago on Google
Great place! Food was exactly what we expected (and needed!) - some local-style food but vegan. Menu had plenty of options and was available in English. We've found deserts in vegan restaurants to be generally disappointing, but the options were very good here. Staff friendly and service was good also. If you're vegan or are travelling with a vegan add this to your list. I think the food would appeal to non-vegans also.

  • 5/5 Jean-Luc D. 2 years ago on Google
Very good vegan meals, friendly, cozy. You might want to make a reservation up front.

  • 3/5 DAR F. 1 year ago on Google
The place is huge. We came for a traditional vegan food Service was OK... not too welcoming. The food was disappointing. We ordred: schnitzel and potato salad - schnitzel was wet from the inside. Potato salad was great Dumplings with red cabbage. Was OK. Nothing more. Goulash with bread - We received 6 portions of soy... was kinda tasteless. Fries were good.

  • 4/5 Marleen B. 1 year ago on Google
Great restaurant for veganised versions of Czech food! Definitely try the pickled tofu, that was one of the best vegan starters I’ve ever had! I also really enjoyed the dumplings with the red cabbage. The goulash was unfortunately a bit tasteless, hence the 4 stars. The place seemed pretty popular so I would recommend to book a table in advance.
