I never leave negative reviews but this is an exception - this was perhaps the worst customer service experience I’ve had in my life. The individual selling our tickets: - Repeatedly tried to pressure my colleague into buying an audio guide when he had repeatedly said no - Advised my friend that he does not appear to be someone who reads or likes to read - Suggested that “the Google Generation” is likely to lead to demise of the world and that an internet audio tour will not be a panacea - Called me a “black sheep” that merely follows the wishes of my colleagues after I similarly did not purchase an audio tour Extremely unprofessional and unbecoming conduct by an employee who is serving such beautiful historic monuments.

This is a stunning gem you’ll have to visit. I’d suggest you spend more time in this glittering location and take in the grandeur it has to offer. While you’re at it, bring along a wide lens to capture the beautiful interior.

It says a 'museum' but this is actually a perserved neighbourhood/village in 4 block with 6 different synagogs & a cemetery dating since medieval times. It is awkward that the reason why we get to see this quarter today is because Hitler thought to perserve this neighbourhood in order to make it a "museum of a perished race"! But that aside, it is a unique experience, especially the synagoge with the names on the wall of every single inhabitant known to have lived in that neighbourhood through centuries.

Great, in any case I recommend experiencing tours of all synagogues, cemeteries, etc.. It's just an amazing experience. And finally, coffee and a delicious dessert at CAFÉ GOLEM, which is part of the ticketing. Tonda 👍😎😎 (During today's visit, everything was OK. Tonda 👍😎😎) - still great attitude and perfect service. Tonda 👍😎😎 (Today 12/02/24 - still great, and delicious pumpkin soup. Tonda 👍😎😎)

(Translated by Google) One of the oldest Jewish museums in the world (opened in 1906) is one of the most visited in Prague. In addition to permanent exhibits, telling stories traditions and customs of the Jewish Czech population throughout many years (there are several thousand items, books and an extensive archive of Czech and Moravian Jewish communities) concerts are also held here and thematic exhibitions ... Cognitive to visit.

Prague has changed a lot during the last years and some changes are negative. Like charging 20€ for a cemetry and sinagoge ticket to introduce holocaust repression and the history of Jewish block in Prague. No options of visiting just one sinagoge, it's either a full package or nothing. Total shame! Applauses for earning money on dead people

Impressive. You should know that Jewish museum is actually the number of 7 places in the Ghetto that you will visit. I expected to visit a building with information and presentations of objects that belong to Jewish culture and history. But it’s not like that. You will visit 7 different stations. The location of a museum and the place where you can get a ticket and a guide for the round tour is at Spanish Synagogue but the tour itself begins at another place and Spanish Synagogue is, if I remember well, 6th place to visit in the tour.

The selection of sights and museums were lacking compared to the steep asking price. The synagoges were pretty, but honestly not all that impressive and quite modest, while the exhibitions seemed focused more on the religion itself and on the culture than on its history, which was disappointing to me, but might appeal to others. To be fair, one of the synagoges focused on jews in prague, but the timeline was very narrow. An focused mostly on a few hundred years, and hardly scratched the surface. The cemetery was probably the best experience, but you'd have to consider the amount of money you are throwing at it, and if i could go back in time with the knowledge i have of the Jewish museum now, i wouldn't bother with it, to be honest. The exhibitions range from "rustic" to modern, some being better and more informative than others, but overall, it think the asking price is probably twice as much as it has any right to be.

(Translated by Google) The Jewish quarter is a must-see if you visit Prague! It is very close to the clock, about 10 minutes passing through the street full of branded shops! You can buy your ticket online (costs more) or at the Tourist Center or at one of monuments. In the Tourist Center you can 100% buy them by credit card and I also saw from the Pinkas Synagogue / Old Cemetery. It is not easy to distinguish the various synagogues and follow a path, but the synagogues are marked with a number, which on the ticket you will find the corresponding name! The most beautiful monument is definitely the Pinkas synagogue and the old graveyard! The Spanish synagogue is currently closed for renovation until 2021! I would have appreciated a discount for this lack.

A moving experience stepping back in time and learning about the Jewish history of the city - including the 80.000 names written by hand of those who perished during the Holocaust. I also recommend doing a walking tour of the Jewish quarter. Fascinating!

Big disappointment. The synagogues are plain, and in the cemetery there is a narrow route, with hundreds of tourists. There were some interesting parts, and I probably I would still recommend it, as it is an important part of the city, but don't expect too much.

Tickets cover entry to multiple locations. The old Jewish cemetery was the most interesting to me. The tickets are good for a week so it is possible to visit each location at different times. I would recommend the audiotour.

The story of the Jewish quarter history is great, but a museum with just some artifacts, a couple of empty synagogues and the beautiful, but 'empty' cemetery don't bring the vivid past alive. The entrance fees are steep and you'll visit a hollow shell of what the quarter used to be. Beautiful, yes. But it's just bricks and stones you'll discover.

(Translated by Google) I am not a Jew, as I am not a Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist or Protestant. But I have been to beautiful Catholic churches, Buddhist temples of great peace and inspiration, among other religious temples. The cemetery is pretty cool. The tombstones are glued to each other (they buried the Jews standing in deep pits, because they had no physical space and could not move freely outside the neighborhood limits), in a well forested space and different from another cemetery that I have seen before . It has more than 2000 years of history. Now, any other attraction in the Jewish quarter is a waste of time. The guides and folders try to convince you that it is something cool. But it is not. It is boring, empty, fruitless. And it is an expensive program!

Not one place only, the museum is composed of several synagogues, all of them are about 1-2 blocks from each other. I recommend to visit as soon as they open, some of them are small and can get crowded, but worth the visit.

A lot of text to read if you have the patience, but several interesting artefacts to look at. The museum consists of a few buildlings, so you get a bit of a walk-around which is fun. The girl at the ticket counter was very nice and helpful. The tickets were a bit pricey, but the spanish synagogue made it all worth it, so make sure you check it out while you’re there, as it’s the highlight of the tour! 🕍

Absolutely recommended if you visit Prague. The entrance fee seems quite high at 500ck, but it is very worth it. I recommend the Pinkas Synagogue as a starting point. There you can also get an audio guide or book a guided tour. You can view 8 different locations, including synagogues, the Old Cemetery, the R. Guttmann Gallery and a ceremonial hall. All houses are very venerable and tell an intensive story about Jewish life. I don't have any photos because I view these places as too respectful to photograph and post online. One more note at the end: There is a voucher for Café Golem with entry. There you can enjoy coffee and snacks.

In the vprazejakodoma.cz event, we wanted to visit the Old-New Synagogue. From there we were sent to the information center of the Jewish Museum in Maiselova Street, where they exchanged points for a ticket, but it sounded for everything else, only the Old-New Synagogue was not included in it.

Nice visit but we had the worst experience with the rudest bartender. It's sad that such a frustrated little man had to ruin at least in part this experience. My Wife approached him to ask for the bathroom Key saying "excuse me". He reacted in a very rude manner responding with saying "hello" several times and then pointing out that "in this country we say hello." You may say hello but you have no idea what It means ti be a nice Person.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful Renaissance building located in the Royal Garden of Prague Castle. The Summer Residence of Queen Anne, commissioned by Ferdinand I for his wife, Anna Jagellone, was built on the eastern border of the Royal Garden between 1538 and 1560. Today it is used for exhibitions of visual arts and artistic crafts. The Czech inhabitants call it "the Belvedere". The Summer Palace is one of the first monuments in pure Renaissance style in Bohemia; it is even said to be the first building of this type north of the Alps. You must also admire the famous Singing Fountain, which since 1558 has embellished the courtyard of the palace.

The Belvedere ends the Royal Gardens. In front of him is a singing fountain. To hear it, you have to put your ear on the copper edge or climb under it. There are exhibitions inside the Belvedere. Queen Anne's Summer Palace is located in the shadow of Prague Castle, and I came here for the photo exhibition of "1989". This was an important year for the Central and Eastern European states that were communist controlled. This was the year the Iron Curtain came down, and this exhibition documents this really well in photographs from the states affected. If you have been to Wenceslas Square and seen how big it is, it is hard to believe so many people filled the square on the 17th November 1989. The photos really bring this to life. This was a great exhibition, and if you are into modern history, you will love it.

(Translated by Google) Belveder, the royal summer house was built by Ferdinand I for his wife Queen Anne. The most beautiful Renaissance building is admirable. In front of the portico opens a beautiful garden with a singing fountain. Carefully decorated flower beds are lined by tall trees with massive crowns. You can enjoy peace and relaxation and sit on benches under the chestnut trees, which will create a pleasant shade there. There is an amazing view of Prague from the gallery, which suddenly opens in front of you. You will see a city with a flowing Vltava River and historic buildings. On the right is the Prague Castle complex with the tower of St. Vitus Cathedral. An unforgettable experience. Uvidíte město s protékající Vltavou a historickými stavbami. Vpravo je areál Pražského hradu s věží Svatovítského chrámu. Nezapomenutelný zážitek.
