Nordöstlich des Gebäudekomplexes fällt unterhalb einer kleinen Aussichtsplattform das Gelände ab und eröffnet einen lohnenswerten Panoramablick über Hradschin, Kleinseite, Altstadt etc. Die Klosterkirche ist in ihrer Grundarchitektur eine gotische Basilika, an Stelle des Querhauses flankiert von Nord- und Südturm. Ihren letzten durchgreifenden Umbau erfuhr sie in der Barockzeit. Reichhaltige Ausstattung, u.a. Barockorgeln im Chorraum und auf der Westempore, letztere vom ortsansässigen Ordensbruder Oelschlegel bis 1780 zum damals größtem Orgelwerk Böhmens erweitert.

I went to the monastery to see the library and try the beer, when I arrived, it was closed (they open until 17) but the church was open, the monks sang Gregorian chant. I loved it. During the ceremony we do not take pictures so as not to disturb, but later without problems. Everything beautiful, from here there are good views of Prague. Without doubt the best experience in Prague, very inspiring. AND FREE

Church in the Strahov Monastery. We didnt do in but it looked quite nice particularly with the golden spires.

Access is allowed but, but it was gated and I was only to capture the inside from a far. It looks Great. One I will document farther!

Church is beautiful and the view at the town from the hill near by is just fantastic!

Giving it 4 stars only as i wast able to enter due to a wedding, yet from the glimps that I could have for the interiors looked nice

Very elegant cathedral. I went there during the week, there was no line to get in, but there were some gates closed inside the church offering me just a limited view and access. The surroundings are impressive, offering amazing views over Prague city. I totally recommend coming here.

Not the best church in Prague, but interesting. If u come here to visit the monastery, it could be a good match

Interesting point of interest. Beautiful baroque interiors of church and library. Only small walk from the lookout tower. Recommend to make it a stop on your visit.

Obwohl kein Gottesdienst war, kommt man nicht in das Kirchenschiff. Somit nimmt der Besuch maximal 2 Minuten in Anspruch
