😠 The food was good actually, my whole experience was good until the waitress showed me the bill, they charged us for the bread which they put on our table at the beginning. What's more, the waitress asking for tips....I said NO. The almost 3 euros bread non-mentioned bread charge, already annoyed me... People often mention restaurant, good, great, delicious, atmosphere, nice, staff, bread, amazing, waitress,

What's more, the waitress asking for tips....I said NO. The almost 3 euros bread non-mentioned bread charge, already annoyed me. That is how they ruined the whole food experience everytime with this kind of trick. How much money extra can you earn by playing this trick...though we are one time tourist guests, but here is the power of internet ,we can leave comments ,with time, it will build up your reputation.

Service was very good and the server from Ukraine was extremely pleasant. The Argentinian steak was rare - but cold as ice. I sent the pepper sauce back as it seemed like it was right out of the fridge. The sauce was 'heated' and brought back, but it was literally warmed up mayonnaise with pepper mixed in and tasted nothing like pepper sauce. It was disgusting. The steak was small and served with a few leaves of ruccola and a tiny tomato wedge - no side of potatoes or fries, nothing (20€!!!). The waitress was great, but the food was a catastrophe.

Traditional Czech cuisine. Absolutely delicious food here. The service is fast and attentive, getting you into the culture with fine suggestions. Cold beer, great Czech shots. It's quiet and dimly lit, very warm and comfortable 👌🏼 😌 with pleasant designs and furniture. I will definitely recommend Mama Lucy's restaurant and come back again in the future.

Very good food, mostly meat but also a few vegitarian dishes. Exceptionally friendly service. Sweet and traditional furnishing. A small but lovely place I will visit again when in Prague!

Golash in the bread bowl was very good. We also had nachos. Didn't expect much of them but they were very tasty

The portions are huge and the environment is lovely, it's in a cozy corner, you enjoy the city center atmosphere but not too much crowded. The food was very satisfying especially if you are looking after Czech cuisines

The Czech-style goulash meat served in bread is very soft and has a spicy hidden taste, making it light and not greasy. It goes well with Korean tastes. Mulled wine has a warm, rich taste that is perfect for November. The potatoes that come with fried cheese are also delicious.

Food is nice but I would not recommend this restaurant. We paid cash and the staff keep nearly 400 Kurona change. The beautiful waitress just came to tell my boyfriend that they keep the change as tips while I was in toilet. We don’t mind to pay tips. Sometimes we pay far more than that in England. But not in this way. Please avoid. I feel regret not read the review earlier. We only pay half the money next day near Charles bridge. I have to say all the restaurants in Prague do have lovely traditional food.

As it was almost 11pm, we did not have much choice! The place catch our eyes on the farm decorations. The ribs were really great, and we asked the fries sweet potatoes after and they delivered fast enough to be a side dish. I HAVE TO NOTICE: Kind waitress, the food was very good and a fair price. Your experience wasn't 3.5 as it is rated here.

Nice traditional food with friendly fast service and a great atmosphere. The potato pancakes are fabulous and the burger was obviously handmade and cooked well. Wine portion very small and food fairly pricey for what it was, but overall a nice experience!

This restaurant is very traditional and well designed. That's why we entered. Inside is quite small, table close to table, no privacy to eat or to speak. The food we ordered was standard quality, but for what we had, extremely expensive. The same food you can eat for 1/3 of price, if you don't eat on the main square. The staff was not smiling, looked like we've bothered them. Food called zucchinni .... was made of lot of pepper, and few pieces of zucchini. Hard to digest.

Yes, it's in the heart of touristy Old Town, but it's got character, good local fare and a great, welcoming staff. If you're in the company of a "big eater" who ain't afraid of hearty portions of ham, beef, pork, duck and assorted dumplings and sausages, this is their kind of place.

Great cosy restaurant in a traditional style. Really enjoyed our meal and a good bottle of red wine. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

This place was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the food very much. The staff was very very nice. We went there late almost 12 AM and we asked her how long can we sat there, she was like as we wished. We did ask her for little cake for our friend's birthday and she made it perfectly amazing and delicious!

A very welcoming place with an appealing menu. Unfortunately the waitress misheard my order (maybe the language barrier) meaning my meal was wrong. There was hesitation in changing it but it meant that my wife had finished her meal by the time my freshly cooked meal arrived! That said, my meal (Pork Knuckle) was fantastic.

We really enjoyed the food here, especially the Farmer’s Plate, very tasty Czech food. OK, it may not be the cheapest restaurant, but the prices are still very reasonable. The atmosphere is nice and cosy, it was only a bit hot inside (this being a very hot summer day). Great and friendly service.

Lovely restaurant near the market square. Loved the decor and food was very substantial and delicious. We were served by Josef who was so attentive and spoke excellent English. He made us very welcome and was lovely and chatty to 3 pensioners from Scotland.

Look. I'm going to start by pointing out the obvious. It's not the cheapest spot. But if you are going to eat anywhere near the cities prime tourist spot what else do you expect? Marking somewhere in a tourist area down for tourist prices is frankly stupid. The food was A+, the beers were cold and tasty. The coffee was warm and lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great. Can't fault it honestly.

Place was nice!Food was great!wine and beers and Slivovitza super!but menu on website was different, more choices and was no fish at restaurant..so my girlfriend that don't eat meat, just take eggs and cheese.. Unfortunately kitchen closed at 22.. so we cannot try other dishes, but staff and food was great. I suggest to go there early for dinner.

We wanted burgers so we stopped there by chance. Our burgers were both delicious, mine a blue cheese burger was very tasty the meat was excellent and cooked medium rare. The homemade french fries were really homemade and excellent too, served with homemade ketchup. We did not planned on having a dessert but decided to share one since the food was so good, it was a nice dessert though it was a little bit under compared to the rest. We were nearly the only one in the entire restaurant and that's a shame because it should have been packed in my opinion. I'v read the bad comments here and I don't really understand what they're talking about. I recommend without hesitation.

Excellent goulash in bread. We also had potato pancakes and spaghetti with zucchini- really tasty! A little expensive but worth the perfect service, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful details in the decoration and just 2 minutes walk from Old Town Square.

First time visiting Mama Lucy. We had sausage and ham appetizers followed by the Golash entree. Food was delicious. Nice small restaurant atmosphere. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Easy to strike up a conversation. Jacob was extremely attentive. Will be sure to visit during our next trip to Prague.

Welcome to the pretzel-trap! It all started on a freezing cold December evening. We counted barely -4 degrees which forced us to go somewhere inside. The Mama Lucy looked warm, tempting and very cozy. From far away we spotted the delicious looking pretzels. We decided to got for the crispy baked goods. When we entered the restaurant the waiter asked us to wait outside for 10 minutes, which was fine. Then we were allowed to take our seats, but just because we promised him to order food and not just drinks… when he came to take our order he didn’t allowed us to just order a side dish. All of us had to eat a main course even though we were not that hungry at all… he confused bringing sparkling water with still and he was not very kind when we asked for our original order. Later on he charged us for the bread which he gave us without our wish to do so. (3,50€) all in all, however delicious the pretzels might seem, you might as well go to a less expensive and more kind food spot. Good luck finding one
