The worst service we have experienced so far. The waiter is the rudest person we meet in Prague. We didn’t each anything because the review isn’t good and the place is really price. For a small beer u will pay 200 cz. Quite a lot for Prague. Be patience. Come up for sunset. Be patience again 😅 Ignore the waiter. Relax e take your photos on the corner of the terrace. It isn’t so crowded (and I guess the reason is clear enough 😂). If u like pics, give it a try, but it is only it. If I could I would leave -1 star 😅 Really really bad service

Terasa is on every guide for Prague, so naturally, it was on my list as well. I had to say that it offers spectacular views of the old town and the astronomical tower. The environment is also amazing on the rooftop and also inside. The staff was very friendly. The food, however, disappointed me terribly. It was mediocre being soft on the review. The portions were really small, but i don't mind if it is gourmet. It was gourmet looks with mediocre taste. I will visit again for drinks and dessert but not for food.

We made a reservation in advance to enjoy a meal at this roof top restaurant. The view was amazing, from one corner of the restaurant, and I did get some beautiful pictures. The food was ok. The service was a little poor. But trying to get our bill in order to leave was ridiculous. When we could finally flag down our server, we mentioned we would like individual bills (we were two couples). Eventually the woman who helps you pay the bill at your table side came and said “you don’t want it split down the middle, right?” The server had split it down the middle and due to drinks and desserts and sides our totals were very different. We appreciated that she caught that and she she would fix it. But we never saw her again. At least at our table. She quickly (in a hustle) came and went to a few other tables, helping others pay their bills. Then she would disappear in a flash. After 45 minutes of waiting for her to bring back the bill, we flagged down a different server, asking for our bill again. She finally returned with one bill for the total of both couples. We paid the bill so we could leave, but were very frustrated by the promise to properly divide our bill and then make us wait so long.

Incredible high prices. I do understand that the location is great and view is nice, but that does not confirm the super high prices. The food was decent, nothing fancy, reason for which I gave 2 stars. Then.. The staff is just rude and not respectful at all, we requested to pay separately and the person responsible with this was very angry and rude. Then he automatically added a 12.5 tip on the bill, which I asked to be removed as I did not consider any tip to be paid considering the rude attitude. He removed the tip from the bill - which was good. Finally I said a nice thank you to which he did not reply anything. For sure will never come back here and also I don't recommend anyone to eat here, there are much much better and cheaper places close by. Added a photo of my expensive dinner.

We visited for breakfast as this place is a highly recommended stop for any tourist in Prague. The building is lovely, the view from the terrace is fantastic with an upbeat atmosphere and we found the mock and cocktails refreshing, unfortunately that's where the good points stop. Our waitress was quite rude and the food was disappointing, not the standard we were expecting. This place is definitely worth a visit for the view and photo opportunities but next time I'd only visit for a drink.

The views are great, and for that its 5stars. But the service, the receipt says the tip is not included and optional. The guy over there forced me to pay the tip, very cunning. I won't recommend anyone to go and have food, go there for view and buy the cheapest possible drink. Trust me and take this info from me, a local guide with over 700 reviews.

The food is tasty enough, but there's not much of an assortment, but that's for the best. The coolest thing about this establishment is the skewed views, especially of the cathedral. The service and reception are excellent. The prices are good for a place like this. I suggest you try the truffle pasta.

Decent views. The food was pretty good - since it was cold and snowing we had chicken noodle soup (good not great) and truffle pasta we added chicken to (pretty good). For dessert we had the golden egg which was amazing!

Terasa U Prince came recommended to us before visiting Prague. This is a rooftop restaurant/ bar where you can enjoy the breathtaking view They have a beautiful area called the bubble view point. We sat here and enjoyed some mulled wine while over looking old town and it was just beautiful. You can also have brunch and dinner here. Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant has great location and a nice view. We didn’t have lunch at the terrace but at the tables on the square. The waiter that invited us in was a bit rude. He mentioned that there is a service charge of 12,5%. I didn’t hear him correctly, so I asked him to repeat. He became a bit agitated and started defending their service charge and comparing it to other restaurant’s. We got our food relatively fast. I ordered the grilled fish with zucchini and pasta. The dish was very greasy and tasteless.

The place has a great view but the staff is very rude. It was raining heavily yesterday and I asked the staff if they can guide me where to get an umbrella cause I had to get back to the hotel in heavy rain. He replied: “We’re a restaurant, not a market” in a very disrespectful tone. Food was alright but the rudeness of the staff really ruined my mood. The only good thing about this place is that you can take good pictures.

Shame that the service doesn't match this beautiful venue. Led to the seating area for drinks to be told it's actually a standing area. Service very slow and laboured considering only 8 cocktails on menu. The views are fantastic as you can see but that's about all. Made to wait at bar like cattle to pay and then if your not paying attention they add service charge for drinks they made you stand and drink!

This place is a must visit for the view of the square. It has an incredible view, allowing for the capture of great pictures. However, it is expensive and does not offer the experience you would expect. In my experience, we were seated on a table beneath a heating unit that was set to max, and we were very uncomfortable. However the staff are very polite, and you can pay with card.

The menu has huge variety of Italian and Czech cuisine. All our orders were tasty. Everything is served in a modern way. The service was not so perfect. A waiter rechecked our order in a way that I felt like in exam.

The only reasons why this place is so popular is the stunning view. We stopped there for cocktails before going to the view point, which were good but really small and therefore pricey. If you want to get a good table for a view I reccomend making a reservation. Kitchen being located outside and you not being able to get to the view point without crossing it is absolutely ridiculous. Also the whole ceiling made of glass was really dirty and looked neglected. To conclude: place with a good potential but in need for improvements.

We had beef pasta and duck pasta with sangria. Atmosphere: beautiful roof top with stunning views. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with decent seating. Service: very attentive staff, very friendly. The menus have lots of pictures which makes it easy for English speakers to understand. Food: mediocre, but not bad. Pasta was quite heavy and oily and bread was ok. It’s not worth the money but you’re paying for the setting. Sangria on the other hand - was great! Would recommend coming for drinks rather than food.

Food was average, desserts were quite cool looking and yum. Unfortunately the rest was bad - smokers paradise, views obstructed, waitstaff rude, tip added onto bill without verbal confirmation!? Tourist trap - try elsewhere!

We came for a drink as it was a lovely hot day. We also heard that the view was brilliant. The staff are not very welcoming or friendly. In fact, we were seated to have a jug of sangria, then afterwards decided to visit the view point for a quick photo and a staff member asked if we’d eaten or drank. Which was really rude! There are panoramic views or Prague, which is lovely. But if you want the best view then you’ll need to book in advance for the clock side.

The view from the place is nice but the staff behaviour can be improved. First they said there is no empty table to sit but then they change their mind and let us in. Which is funny because inside most of the tables were empty. Then we ordered a cappuccino, a mock-tail and a tiramisu. The foods were good in taste but in the bill they added an extra 12.5% as a tip and mark that amount with pen which was really weird. Kind of feels like a tourist trap

Alexandra, the hostess, is the best part about this rooftop terrace! She is absolutely a delight to talk to and her bubbly personality adds to the dining experience! We came up three times during our stay in Prague, and Carl was our server twice. He was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The staff were very welcoming. We ate well and plentifully. I enjoyed the truffle risotto that I recommend. The bill remains a bit high for Prague, there is 12.5% service to be expected at the end. But we are politely asked if we agree. There are also heaters and blankets that are offered on the terrace. It is very pleasant in this cold February :)

We came here for the view, but at night at the table away from the astronomical clock there isn’t much of one. If you want the view, you must come before sunset or be lucky enough to be seated near the clock side. The one photo of the view I have is available only as we left and walked out of the restaurant. The food was actually quite good, but as others have mentioned it took over an hour to get our mains. We weren’t hungry enough for appetizers, so we sat and drank our wonderful wine. It was not a bad way to spend an hour, so we were not as grumpy as other reviewers, but you should be prepared. Perhaps it would have been good to get a shareable starter to nibble on. It was definitely wise to pick a good bottle of wine to start. We may be back during daylight hours, but there are a lot of other rooftop places to try.

Beautiful venue with stunning view, food and cocktails are well prepared and the selection is quite good. As the venue is quite busy with a lot of people, you might not get the friendly attention or flexibility you deserve in this kind of venue.

We booked for Christmas dinner on 24.12 on the terrace. Everything was very nice, good service, friendly staff and the food was great too. The price did not disappoint us, in fact it was within the norm. The lady at the reception downstairs was very nice and friendly with us .

Spectacular view from the roof top and to be there when the astronomical clock struck 7pm after a nice dinner. We ordered the house signature cocktail and beer. Then foie gras for a starter and rib eye for the main course. A little pricey but you can’t beat the view! This was another recommendation from Rick Steves Europe 😀

When I visit them on 27/12/2023, the lift was out of service. So we have to use stairs up to the 4th floor. The view from top was great. Nice spot for some photos. Delicious food. My friend ordered omelette but the service was so slow. And I think you have to buy something from them to use the roof view.

Center of Praha old town. One of the crowded place in the world. So you must understand service, quality of food :D Most of food are prepared, not order made. But quality were not poor. Pay attention for atmosphere and view. If you want fine food, reserve restaurant and visit there.

My favorite view point in Prague! Perfect location in the heart of the city where you can see everything! Cocktails are great and service is nice. Would definitely visit again!

Great view! It’s an outdoor rooftop bar. Some, but not all tables are heated. We only had some wine but the cocktails looked nice, but expensive. We looked at ordering food, but there weren’t any vegan options.

Incredible view in downtown Prague, the must stop by to have experience in Prague. You can order some drinks and enjoy very nice view, but they force you tips for 12.5%. To tips is fine but force you will definitely ruin your enjoyment in the end.

The staff was fast and helpful. Could basically tell what you wanted as soon as she looked at you. The food was good, but the truffle pasta was too decadent for me. But the parma ham starter, the orichiette with meat and the cocktails were amazing! The view itself during night aren’t that incredible but still very pretty. A bit expensive.

This place you must go, amazing rooftop experience you can see all the square and the Clock Tower. One of the best places to go in Prague. Food was amazing. Really one of a kind.

You would think it's a huge tourist trap, but the good was actually quite okay and the location of course is amazing. Prices are a tad high but that's normal for the location I guess. If you're here for vacation and you want to enjoy the good weather in a good location, I would recommend this one.

Visited in the last hours. Had a margarita which was crushed ice with little alcohol in synthetic strawberry syrup . Okay for the view. The ground floor also has a cafe , not a part of this property but serves decent food at fair prices.

You must visit this place because the bubble point view is probably the best view in Prague. The place has a good atmosphere, but the quality of food is average. The waiters are ok, but they add a 10% tip to the bill without asking you… so just ask them to remove it and they will. I recommend you book a table and only eat dessert (must eat something when you book a table). Take your pictures only AFTER you order.

To make the best out of this place is to reserve a table on the terrace. The view is stunning. Service was good, the food was fine. I would expect a bigger portion when it comes to pasta. The kinder ice cream was a disappointment for me, i expected something more delicious.

Amazing atmosphere and view on the old town. We worked here for a whole morning and then had lunch: except the macarons, which are a bit of a tourist trap, the food was decent. When it comes to the service, it's quite rare to see a waiter on the rooftop, they're usually packed together chatting away from the customers.

The restaurant itself is located in the center of the city. The view was good, and the food was good as well. Yes, it's a bit pricey but totally worth it. Salmon fillet was cooked perfectly as I asked. Staff is friendly and service is fast. Recommended.

Nice restaurant at the real center of Prague, great location !! Also very lovely interior of the restaurant. We booked a table upfront, service was helpful and friendly. Dinner was delicious (on photo my dinner - tuna steak). I can only recommend this place, for sure we will be back !
