A true highlight of our recent trip to Prague. From start to finish, George was so very entertaining. The restaurant and food choices were just amazing and we spent several hours learning, laughing, eating and drinking. It was a truly memorable day and we will remember it forever. Leona with Prague Food Tours was one of my favorite people I’ve ever met on vacation! Our small-group food tour actually turned out to be a private tour - the best news for us and offered the most personalized experience. Leona was born and raised in Czech so is naturally knowledgeable about EVERYTHING to do with the area, food scene & history. After a geography quiz, we ate & drank traditional and new takes on Czech cuisine. At the end of the 5 hour, 4 stop, walking tour; Leona sent us off with useful tips, secret spots & solidified agenda for the rest of our time in Prague. She was so genuinely invested in making the most of our time in her city and insisted that she was only a call/email away if we needed another recommendation, etc during our stay. A huge shout out and thank you to Leona & Prague Food Tours (a husband & wife, small-business) for an amazing and memorable day! If you plan to be in Prague, book a tour - you will not be disappointed. Come hungry and leave with much more than a full belly.

We had a wonderful afternoon/evening with George strolling through the streets of Prague! George had a lot of knowledge about the history of Prague and made an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. Also his saved locations on Google Maps were very helpful during the rest of our stay. It was a brilliant way of experiencing Prague. Would 100% recommend!

This food tour was amazing. The food was excellent and each stop offered a unique aspect of the history of Prague and its cuisine. Leona was an incredible guide who provided fascinating information on the history of the city and region and its impact on the food, beer and wine. She also engaged the group in ways to ensure the tour was meaningful and informative to each individual in the tour. Highly recommend and when I come back to the city I will likely do another tour with Leona.

I wish I could give more stars. I'm doing a review my 14-year-old grandson and I went on the food tour with Leona tonight in Prague. At far exceeded our expectations. First of all my grandson is very picky eater but he did agree to try to the best of his ability. Leona took us to four different types of restaurants and we tasted different and typical Czech foods. It was more than just a bite, there was ample food at each place, and I can't believe I ate as much as I did. Leona explained everything to us about the food and the cult. And the history. She was incredible not only in her knowledge But also in her ability to communicate easily with a 14-year-old and a 75-year-old. We came out of this very full of absolutely delicious food and a lot more knowledge about the Czech Republic than we had prior To the beginning of the tour beginning of this tour. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the food. It was very tasty and beautifully prepared. My grandson ate everything and his favorite was duck, which was a big surprise to me. If you want to get a better understanding of Prague and the Czech Republic. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was our best activity on a 12 day trip to Austria, Germany; and Prague. Leona taught us so much about Czech history and culture. There is more delicious food than a person can possibly eat, and we went on Christmas Day, which made for a delightful and memorable holiday away from home in the US. Don’t delay to register. I recently did the Delicious Tour with my boyfriend and his siblings while in Prague and we absolutely LOVED it! Leona was so knowledgeable about the food and history. Fantastic food tour with local guide, George. Traditional/local food, beer and wine were all delicious, the walking distance and duration perfect, and lots of interesting information about Czech history and culture were discussed in between. We loved it!

I have tried many food tours in Europe and Prague Food Tours has been my BEST experience so far! Leona and George run the company with great love & care which reflects throughout the tour. Their extensive knowledge & passion for Czech Food, History & Culture keeps the tour interesting and interactive at all times. The food at each spot is traditional and so delicious making it hard to pick a favourite! We started our trip to Prague with the Delicious Food Tour and had the best time. George is extremely kind, outgoing, and knowledgeable and made for a very fun experience. The traditional Czech food we tried were ones we likely would not have found on our own and they were all so unique and delicious. This tour was a great mix of restaurants and food types. Would so highly recommend especially to begin your Prague trip to get your bearings on the city and get recommendations for restaurants to try!

There were many food tours in Prague but I wanted to support a small, family-owned tour company. I love trying new foods and learning about different cultures. Once I booked the tour and paid the deposit, they were responsive and asked if we wanted to learn anything specific about Prague or Czech Republic. He was knowledgeable about the history of the country and answered all of our questions. It also helps that George has a good sense of humor which kept us entertained the entire time. I'm a vegetarian and still got to try the foods with there being a few substitutions. I highly recommend their Scrumptious Food Tour if you want to try authentic local Czech cuisine!

Prague Food Tours is a great tour to take when visiting Prague. We booked the tour several months in advance. After booking the tour, they sent us recommendations for places to see, a link to a map with restaurant recommendations, and a sheet with practical information about transportation and money exchange. All of this was very helpful when we were planning our time in Prague. George was our tour guide. He took the time to learn all of our names and to get to know each of us. He is fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We learned about Czech history, culture, geography, and of course, food. We tried a variety of traditional Czech foods on the tour – many that we would have not tried on our own. The food was delicious! When booking the tour, we were asked to list any dietary restrictions we have. Throughout the tour, George was very aware of these restrictions and would point out foods that some of us shouldn’t eat. He always offered to replace these foods with foods that we could eat. George went above and beyond what was expected. After the tour, he provided us with a list of the foods we ate and the places we had visited on the tour. He gave us a map of Prague and pointed out various sites that he recommended visiting. If we had questions about Prague or places to visit outside of Prague, he took the time to offer suggestions. The day after we took the tour, he emailed us with recipes for some of the foods we had eaten. If you go to Prague, I highly recommend taking one of the tours offered by Prague Food Tours. You will not be disappointed!

The BEST experience! George was an amazing guide! Stayed with our group through the whole tour, chatting and telling us about Prague and it's history. He definitely made it feel like we were touring the town with a good friend that we had known for a long time. Oh...and the food...the food was so good! Was a little too full at the end to enjoy it properly (make sure you come hungry), but everything was amazing!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Prague. We wanted to be able to experience a taste of authentic local cuisine that was not in a tourist trap. Started our day with George - who took us on a food tour around the city. We got an insider's look into the Czech cuisine, culture and history – oh, and beer, lots of beer (which is cheaper than water). George was an incredibly passionate guide who whisked us around this bustling city with ease. Once we arrived to each restaurant we had a prime table waiting for us – a true VIP experience. If you choose to do a food tour while you're in Prague. I highly recommend doing this tour on your first day, to get a city overview before exploring on your own. If you have George as your guide, ask him about the baby hedgehog story - it's fascinating and not to be missed. 😊

Fabulous! Great value and experience. Highly recommend. This tour was spectacular. We are a married couple and were in town for a more extended tour. My husband is mostly vegetarian and picky / annoying and Leona did a great job accommodating him. She was VERY prepared and organized and each of our stops was unique and fabulous. Our group happened to have a lot of fun together - so great conversation - which made it all the better. Leona shared many historic and relevant details about the city and culture and food and drink. My husband, two kids, and I had an amazing food tour with George. The food far exceeded our expectations and we went to places I never would have found on my own. Excellent! Highly recommended, this is more than just a food tour and the food is absolutely delicious, with dishes I wouldn't have thought of trying. But best of all is George. Truly the best tour guide I've met. He's funny, knowledgeable and took us out of the tourist streets while delivering lots of information about Prague and the country.

If you come to Prague this is a "must-do". We were visiting from Australia and George guided us and another family group through the tour. This is about much more than food. This an experience to really understand the Czech culture and connection with eating, drinking and socialising. George is an intelligent guide in the way he shared the food and the city with us through easy conversation and seamless logistics (one of our daughter's has a gluten and dairy allergy which isn't easy in Prague and yet George just sorted it out). The food and chosen venues were top quality and the cocktails at the end - just when you thought you could not possibly manage another thing - finished things perfectly. A passionate bartender who takes his craft so seriously and it shows through in the drinks he served. Really cannot speak highly enough of this - it is truly a cut above any other tour I have ever booked.
