It is usually lived especially on vacation, that in restaurants, apart from experiencing an extreme attention, what one gets for dinner, is not up to the price. I have been totally impressed that apart from the very special attention, the concern that we have something for dinner that we try to communicate in some way, where the language difference was not a problem at all and finally, we have spent a very pleasant evening. price quality go 100% together. thank you so much

Avoid if a Tourist/British. We came to this pub looking for two drinks before our flight back home. As we entered we were instantly treated poorly - bar staff would not acknowledge us and just stared at us. We finally got two pints - but as we finished we were told we could not pay by card (although we saw a couple next to us pay using a card). We had used up all of our money so I had to find a cash point (minimum I could get out was 3,000 CZK) whilst the bartender intimidated, shouted and made my partner feel incredibly uncomfortable. Finally paid whilst making sure we didn't pay the service charge - initially he took the receipt off us and gave us the incorrect change. He finally gave us the correct change after explaining to him a few times over - maths and social skills are obviously not his strong point. Do not go to this pub under any circumstance.

The worst food I have ever eaten! I go to a restaurant at least once a week, I go to many places ... sometimes better, sometimes worse but this place is a failure. One of the more expensive restaurants and the quality of the food is terrible! Smelly meat, it was definitely not fresh! Money wasted, mood broken... I went to another restaurant with delicious and cheaper food - HOTEL U PRINCE

AVOID THIS PLACE. Worst experience ever!!!! We came to this pub for a nice pint before our flight, we had been 2 days before and paid by card for 2 pints. When the bill came the waiter was extremely rude saying we had to pay in cash, we explained we had none and he smirked saying we wouldn’t be able to leave until we paid in cash. My boyfriend went to get some cash out whilst I was waiting at the table, the waiter was staring and smirking at me, making snide remarks. My boyfriend struggled to get cash out as we needed so little (the bill was about £2.50), I tried to explain this nicely and he was rude saying we were lying about paying by card before. He clearly had a problem with the fact we were British but why work in a bar in the centre of the old town? We finally got some euros to pay to which he completely overcharged us, we then made him count out the money to give us the correct change and he took more money out of my boyfriends hand. We refused to leave and so eventually he gave us the correct change. He followed us out the restaurant and shouted down the street as we left. This was an extremely distressing experience and really not a nice way to end the holiday. This place should be closed down.

First review for me but i'm doing it because it's the worst experience that i've never had. We asked to get the menu with a garlic soup and gulash and as we got the soup it was with bacon. We said to the waiter that we don't eat bacon and returned them back without saying nothing because it was our fault and we didn't asked for it. The waiter apologized and it was accepted. After we got our food and we thought it was with beef but the waiter smiled and said that it was with porc.. and then he started speaking about god and religion.. what really inacceptable.. we said then that we don't accept the apologizes and he replied (smiling) with BUT I WILL ACCEPT WHEN YOU PAY THE BILL. Such a disgusting way to treat guests

I left 30% tip because one waiter was super nice, but the other one cursed at us in czech, because we had left too many napkins on the table. It takes one experience like this to ruin your day. Avoid it.

Live music, delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, seriously what else do you need from a restaurant? Highly recommended not just for the atmosphere and style, but for dining with a smile.

The food was genuinely amazing, the portions were abundant but not overwhelming, and all of it was extremely tasty. The service was also great! The waiter that served us was both friendly and attentive, it was generally a wonderful experience.

Very good food ( just had a hamburger and fries) but was good size with good taste but can't speak to other items on the menu which as they passed our table looked and smelled delicious. The service was very friendly, timely ,accurate, and attentive . Garden atmosphere was very nice getting you out of the street noise and activity.

We Ate here to lunch during the holidays. The waiters were really nice and welcoming. The food came quick, the salad was fresh und it Tasted delicious. Unfortunaly the toilet flush on the Woman toilet were broke and the Water didn‘t stop.

Amazing service from the staff. Have been here numerous of times over the years and have never been disappointed. Food is always great, and the price is reasonable for the location. Highly recommend

We had dinner here. Don’t expect a warm welcome or smile here! The waiter just grunted as he grudgingly took our order. The food was reasonable and plentiful and the wine was good. It’s 3 stars at best.

Delightful restaurant in the center of Prague, near Old Square. Excellent service with many tables aligned in a perfectly spacious manner. The local food is high level, and I would really recommend the Old Bohemian Style Platter, which serves two very well and is uniquely tasty.

We came here before, we came hete again and we will come again! This is a nice place to enjoy your meal or drink. Highly recomended!

Our experience was better than we expected. Despite all the reviews the waiters were very friendly, everything we ordered was very tasty : the traditional "koleno" with mash, a pizza and cheeseburger. The only thing "koleno" wasn't enough warmed up, as it is cooked in advance and we felt like both : the meat and mash had to be hotter. The portions were big enough for 2 people. The restaurant is overpriced indeed and the 10% tip is included in the bill, but that's the Center of historical center, you can't expect less.

Excellent table in front to people watch with great atmosphere. Special platter for 2 was delicious as was house white wine. Service was excellent from all staff!

I do not recommend. The food is tasteless, expensive and the service is very average. I don't know why they add service fee to the bill. I would never leave a tip for such service.

Had crying kids that wanted to eat trdl from across the street while I ordered some beer and food to relax from waking around Prague. Was told "We are a restaurant, we sell dessert. You cannot sit here." DON'T eat here. Not friendly and very rude. They lost out on our money.

The food is really good. took a goulash in bread which was delicious, my friend took the aglio pasta which was also very good. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. There is many things to do in this area, so if you go, make sure to make a stop at this restaurant !!

Staff not friendly and they steal from you. They added 10% "tip" without asking and put the card machine forward for payment so I didn't know they'd added a tip. So once I'd had chance to read the receipt I had to complain and insist on the return of the 10% tip. It's my personal policy that if an establishment doesn't add the "tip" to the bill themselves and I'm happy with the service then I tip 20%, but if they do try to con me then I insist on it being removed and they get nothing. I've had to do this now in four out of five bars/restaurants we've been to in the first three days of our trip to Prague. Completely ruins the experience having to go through that every time. I have plenty of cash to spare, I just also have principles. So if you're principled like I am and don't agree with theft and conning tourists then perhaps give Prague a miss. Beautiful city but it seems almost every establishment adds their own tips. One which didn't add it themselves loudly announced that they hadn't as I was paying, but given the service had been non-existent and they didn't even have any condiments for the meals I said yes that's fine (no tip) and he began to abuse me, threw my receipt on the floor and said "unbelievable, you english are all the same!". This city is so strange, not even trying to hide the fact tourists are just victims for them.

Such a nice restaurant. You can only pay with Czech Crowns but the menu is in different languages. You can choose between pasta, salads, Czech cuisine and much more. The beer is delicious and the prices are ok for the old town.

Aufmerksame und sehr nette Bedienung. Essen ist lecker und das Dessert -Schokokuchen mit Eis- war unnormal lecker. Wir waren sicherlich vier mal dort. Ein Bier trinken und das Wetter genießen kann man in diesem Laden ohne Probleme ☀️

Did not like this place at all, as they over charged us with 2 double shots of Martini and tap water. Never expected to be charged for the tap water. 630 is £21 which I would say Scam from people. Very disappointed

Poor quality of service and owner/staff tries to cheat on customers in the way they are presenting meal prices outside of the restaurant. It suggests price for set - soup and main dish. Finally you pay for main dish (supposed to be set) plus for soup... Unfair approach and not focused on customer.

Prices are quite high for the quality. They automatically add 10% to the bill, we wanted to pay by card but they pretend to have a broken machine so we were forced to pay in EUR. They take another 10% for exchange rate so all in all we paid 20% on top for the lunch.

The food was absolutley amazing abd the staff very polite and fun! A perfect place for socializing and enjoying a glass of wine while eating tastu food!

This is a big recommendation for everyone who is interested in good food for a fair price. The waiters are the sweetest people, the food is really good and it’s not too crowded in this area. The area is just as fantastic as this restaurant
