A decent place with Czech food and a tank beer. The prices were a little high but acceptable. The staff didn't speak English though.

Food good, the male waiter was arrogant and rude like what are we doing here causing him to work. Then he had the cheek to point out to add services and arrogantly asked what this issue was. I told him his serving manner, and he just walked off without care. So if he was not around would be a great place and get a better rating.

our hotel is nearby, we wanted to have lunch on the road, we ordered pork ribs, with salad and bread, the menu says 600 grams, but it seems half the portion was stolen, we left the establishment hungry, the service was at the lowest level, the two women who served us were very unhappy, they walked around the hall with very angry faces, spoke very rudely, guests are not welcome in this establishment, they did not recommend anything to us, they did not ask if we wanted something else, for example dessert, a very bad impression, we will never return to the establishment again and we do not recommend

Loved dining in this part of the city. It felt like dining with the locals, even though it is literally 10 minutes away. I couldn't choose a restaurant but eventually settled for this one as it was calling my name, and I wasn't disappointed. The location was perfect, sidewalk seating available, and everyone at the restaurant was friendly. My waitress was lovely and took good care of me. Her English was good so that was a bonus. The food was delicious but lacked a bit of salt. I did find that during my time in Prague, most dishes lacked salt. Overall, it was a lovely experience with lovely food and good service

Food was good but not amazing. The rude waitress told me during the bill that I had to leave a tip. I was not in the shop for 15 minutes and did not receive any special treatment. I consider this kind of advice extremely rude. When I did give a small tip, she was still not satisfied. We were rudely escorted out of the restaurant. The waitress was about 55-65 years old and had dyed blonde hair.

The most delicious Svickova and Gulas I ever ate. The Svickova was so creamy, with slightly sweet sauce and nice cooked meat. Gulas was very spicy, but very good and had this nice garlicky subflavour. Dumplings were like clouds, soft and nice. Went really nice with a Pilsner beer. The rating should be higher for this one... I recommend!

Awesome menu selection and great tasting Czech beer! We ordered the tripe mushroom soup and it was really good! The burger bun was a bit dry but the rest of it was delicious- the meat was grilled to juicy perfection, and the pork ribs were great!

Great Czech themed place with good Czech selection of food and drink. Great staff - friendly and helpful. The food was also a highlight. We went there for late lunch and as we were first timers asked the waitress what was popular or top recommendations. Across the four of us we had three different dishes and they were all tasty - pork nuchel, trout and the pork steak (pictured). Can't go wrong with any of these. Drinks wise, like most places in Prague they have a good selection available. Czech beer, shots and some soft drinks too.

The service staff were great. But the food was soo bad (see the video).. The goose was supposed to be (falling off the bone). The staff said our drinks were free (2 coca cola).. But that plate costed around 600 czk.

I can recommend this place as a good option for dinner to relax after a day spent on the town. The goulash was tasty as was the coleslaw. I also enjoyed the cider I had with dinner. The service was friendly and professional. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience. The prices are a bit higher as elsewhere but still reasonable for the quality provided. Overall nothing out of this world, but a good option when in the area. Preise in Ordnung

We have been previously at the neighbor restaurant, which seems to be sharing the kitchen with this establishment. While the other place was great and the staff was very friendly, the Tankovna restaurant presents the opposite. The obviously drunk waiter was rude and was constantly making fun about our orders. The food itself was disappointing in regards to taste, size and presentation. The ambience however is very stylish and nice.

Visited this place yesterday with friends. At first I was upset by the food I ordered. It was grilled cheese. Having visited other establishments where the same dish cost several times less, I expected that the food would be several times better for the local 300 kronor, but, unfortunately, this did not happen. Two pieces of cheese, mediocre taste and decorated with onions on top ... if Czech goulash is decorated with a basil leaf on top and served in a plate that takes up an entire table, it will not become more expensive. The beer was good, but in the end they forgot to bring it to me when they ordered it again. And the last thing - they started calling to pay for the order and leave the premises closer to 11 pm, although it is written in the schedule about the institution that the institution works until midnight. Update the information…

Been here twice during our vacation to Prague. The beef tenderloin is superb and we've had it twice and the quality of the dish has been consistent. English speaking and really nice service staff. Great overall! Thank you for a lovely experience!

Good place for lunch. Swift and friendly service, plenty of seating and a lunch menu. They did not have malinovka, but kofola, so check with the waiter before as not everything on the menu may be available. Worth the lunch break!

I've eaten here three times and enjoyed it very much every time. The weather has been good so I've been able to sit outside. TK has extensive outdoor seating. The street is not too noisy and there is good people watching. The beer is excellent and the food is very good. The waiters are helpful.

This is a classic czech cuisine place with standard selection of czech meet-full dishes and they know their stuff. However we did find a good veggie option for my wife (grilled vegetables) for which we are thankful. This is not touristy place however, so expect some grumpy looks from the waiter and akward conversations. Their clientelle is lokals.

Nice atmosphere. Warm atmosphere in the restaurant ! Local people which I appreciated. When I travel travel.I like to be in a local atmosphere. Served quickly. Very smily bĺond waitress. We liked our courses. Raspberry lemonade was 👍. Not very sugary, ideal for a dinner.I took the salad (cold grilled vegetables) really delicious and slightly hot/chilly. I will advise the place!
