😐 Also with me they did the ATM trick. Which surprised me because when I visited them in October 22 and January 23, my CC was no problem at all. But it must be said, food is wonderful, service quick and good portions. People often mention service, good, Prague, bill,

The food was alright I went with my wife and in-laws who have lived in Prague their entire life and they described the food as anyone could make it better at home. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was alright so nothing bad but at the same time nothing great.

As i am reading the reviews on this place and i really think that people just dont understand that this place is in the center of the tourist center in Prague so the prices obviously seem high but trust me, i am local and the prices are very average. (If you dont agree, its fine. You can go to McDonalds just accross the square and wait 30 minutes standing in a crowded small area for your actualy overpriced meal.) Also the meals look really good visualy here. The personel seems nice to everyone and the owner is a good man. I overall really like this place. Its cozy and in one of the best places you can get in Prague as a tourist, its really close to Charles Bridge for example. I hope this review helped and remember, we are all just people.

Absolutely terrible. When asked for the bill, I saw that they had added the 10% tip. I asked them to remove it and I would tip as I wanted. The manager answered: " So you are not happy with our service?" She kept repeating the same for 10 minutes, only until I threatened them with calling the police, they did remove it, picture attached. PURE SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Be careful with this place. They add the tip as "mandatory" in the bill without telling you. Just as an FYI, tips are not an obligation but rather a decision on the customer if considered that the service was good. Their English is not so good so my advice: 1. Ask for the receipt and for the tip to be in any case added separately, or 2. If you do not want to go into trouble with the personnel, just do not ask for a tip to be added or for the bill to be rounded up as you are already leaving a 10% tip.

Right around the corner from my hotel. This was by far heads and tails the best meal I had in prague. Unlike florence where it's impossible to get a bad meal, It's challenging to get a good meal in Prague. No matter what you're willing to pay. This place was superb, the food was fresh. It was tasty, the service was lovely. It has a great atmosphere, and they were open late. Which is rare for that city.

The restaurant was good and the food was really great. Tasty and fresh. But nobody said us that we have to pay cash.

Peter the bartender is very personable and helpful and speaks various different languages and was eager to also help us finding our way to the Vrtba garden after our lunch. The Restaurant and bathroom were very clean.

The food was advertised as traditional czech cuisine but it was fast food and tasteless. The employees a little rude, they suddenly asked me to pay with cash but it turnt out they keep the POS hidden at the reception bench.

We just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Saša and Martina for their help today. We have been in the middle of the tragic situation today in Prague, escaping from the place of the tragedy and hiding in your restaurant. The girls were so helpful, reassuring and caring. Thank you ❤️

I did not eat in this hotel but as for the accommodation, it was far the best! Middle of the historical site, spaces room, nice and old style, personnel was great. Highly recommended!

if you are hungry and all you want is a proper meal, you don't come here because your order may be lost somewhere. and finally when you reorder something, what comes to your table is not what you ordered! 🙄

Total tourist trap scam and they unfortunately got us. My wife ordered a cheap glass of wine for 65 CZK at lunch. The server asked her if she wanted that one or a more expensive glass; my wife responded by pointing to the one she had chosen, eliminating any confusion. When the bill came, there was a charge for 185 CZK for the wine. When questioned as to why, the server said she had given us a larger serving size of the more expensive wine (which we did not order). On top of that, she told us they only accept cash, which was a first for us at any Prague restaurant. The solution? Use their ATM at a charge of 100 CZK, of course. And for further insult, the restaurant had added a mandatory tip to the bill. Very disappointing to see establishments using these practices/scams but probably not surprising given the heavy density of tourists in the area.

Not the best nor the cheapest food in Prauge. But decent traditional cuisine. Duck was dry though.

We ordered pork schnitzel, but in the end we got chicken schnitzel. After we were waiting for the pork one because of this mistake. Food was fatty and quite expensive for such place. We will not return

We stopped in because we needed free wi-fi but we were blown away by the food. We opted for three of the special menu options which included an appetizer, main dish and dessert. They were all incredible. Great service and friendly people. Highly recommend!!!

Nice and warm place to enjoy delicious roasted sausages and cold beer listening to mice music. The decoration is also very warm.

Bad service, no motivation and hard to come in contact with the waiters. The food came within a couple minutes and was still cold inside - which of course indicates that the food was just reheated in a microwave... No communication between the waiters even tho we were the only costumers at the time, and the place was not cheap compared to the level of service and food...

Ideally-situated on Malostranska square. Service good. The fried cheese was not worth the price we paid. Perhaps best just to have a drink & move on?

Good beer, food okay, not enough meat and plenty bread, quick service. Good service except one waitress, she was rude when all I wanted was the menu... she was also noisy when picking up dishes. I would not have tip her but it was already on the bill, hopefully it goes to the rest of the staff.

Solid food and solid service. I had the Roast Pork with potato pancakes, sauerkraut, bread dumplings, and beef sauce. Yummy! The atmosphere was pleasant and the location is relatively accessible from the west side of the Charles Bridge.

Not sure what to expect, so i opted for the safe bet - a cheeseburger. And it was excellent! Good fries as well. The price is fine considering the touristy location.
