Read the other 1 star reviews! Don’t go here. Dishonest at worst, inexcusable tourist trap at best. My son and I ordered ribs, schnitzel, a pivo and a Sprite. We were served a bowl of bread (which I mistakenly assumed was part of the ribs or schnitzel meal) as well as two ketchup packets and two tartar sauce packets - none of which we ordered, but all of which showed up on the bill. My son used one packet of tartar sauce, and we didn’t touch the bread or ketchup. We were charged 40 czk for ketchup, 40 czk for tartar sauce, and 45 czk for bread. Oh, and also 55czk for the French fries that came with the schnitzel. (I’d have to look at the menu again, but I’m pretty sure those fries were supposed to be part of the meal.) Anyway, minus the fires, we were charged 125 czk for stuff we didn’t ask for. The food was okay, but the sneaky service and money grab sure left a bad taste in my mouth. There were only 2 other people in the place; perhaps they had read the other bad reviews of this place.

Great little restaurant next to the Zoo. Really cheap, pizza cost 189CZ (£6.50!!!) for 14 inches! Madness! Served by a super cheerful man. Interior design of the restaurant was great, had a zoo vibe to it. Ignore a lot of the negative reviews, they seem to have been placed a long time ago. Couldn'tked for a better meal! Honestly the pizza was probably one of the best I've ever tasted!

One of the best meals I have had in Prague! Quick service, nice English speaking staff and I had an amazing grilled salmon steak for only 300czk (€12). Would recommend to everyone visiting the zoo or Troja palace!

The worst service that we saw in Prague, the food is disgusting, full of oil the waiters are rudest.

They charged us a tip as 40% of the price we had, without permission. When we argued about that, they don't speak any English but asked us if we speak Russian, imagine? It was useless to waste time.

When I asked for toilet nearby, the waitress said I cant have it here unless I'm eating here. So I said ok I'll eat here then. But she kept saying no no no in an unfriendly way. I spent some time to make her understand that I'm eating here and then will go to toilet here. But she was still unfriendly. So in the end I just left. I think being kind to people is most important. If you're kind, people will be happy to buy food here. If not good attitude, even if I'm hungry, I wont eat here.

Not gonna lie, we didn't really have high expectations from a restaurant just outside the Zoo... but the food was phenomenal, and the waiter was also a cheerful guy with great English.

Nice restaurant with original Czech cuisine. Big portions, average Czech prices. Service is also on a high level. You don’t have to wait long for your meal. Too bad that because of the previous reviews this place is low rated now. Definitely 5 stars.

The boss insist of keeping the door opened, although is 7 degrees outside. He prefers using the heater instead of closing the doors. He want more clients at the expense of those who are already inside. Food is good, but the boss is looking like a desperado.

We order goulash and boiled potatoes on the side and a small coleslaw. The potatoes and vegetables were not fresh. The main dish was not treated well and dumpling was dry. The place however is in a nice spot with a nice chill breeze and cute garden. Great for a refreshment or beer.

The food was bad quality, especially for the price we paid for the food. The service was poor, one of the dishes was late. Do not recommend!

The waitress forced us to leave almost 20% of the bill as service fee. We wanted to leave 25czk, she said - “No , the service is 75 and highlighted it” however this was a VAT! We asked for the money back and reported the waitress, who lied. Please be careful if you a a foreigner.

Sat there for 20 minutes without service. Had to go in for menu. Called waitress when we decided on what to have. She 'acnowledged' us with a vacant stare. Looked at reviews and then realized this place is a tourist trap dump and then swiftly left. I need to also mention there were a number of female servers and only nine tables. Quite a joke.

We only had two quick beers there. Both the terrace and indoor seating looked fine and the area was tidy. It looked like a good spot for having some meal.

Went after a day in the zoo. It was very nice, They didn't rush us out after closing. Had a goulash bread bowl and it was best in city. Beer was nice and cold.
