This is the only place I will stay in Prague. I stayed twice for about a week during the summer. Service was phenomenal both times and the staff are great ambassadors of their city and country. It’s a very quiet area and the back garden is lovely for some evening tea. If you’re an American looking to stay in a Czech hotel with AC and helpful staff, look no further. This place is a godsend.

Amazing hotel that is boutique style that has a personal touch. Very nice, great location and super helpful staff. Pavla the staff person was very helpful and suggested us the best itinerary to make the most of our day in Prague. We were grateful to her and enjoyed our stay at Hotel 16 and visit to Prague very much. Highly recommend.

Having read such wonderful reviews I mused that Hotel 16 could not live up to the glowing accolades. It surpassed them. I was made to feel like a friend not just a guest. Even fussy vegetarians (I confess) found much to eat at breakfast, and fresh eggs were whipped into an omelette or boiled. My room was small, but more than adequate and I travel solo so had not asked for big space, prices were very fair. The location is a 15 minute walk from the crowds and the main attractions, but there are restaurants within a few minute walk that have true local flavor. And you’re situated in a quiet residential street for the night.

I cannot compliment this hotel enough. It is a small(ish) family run hotel which has been around for around 25 years I believe. They have a very good idea on how a hotel should be run. Friendly locals who are all very welcoming, helpful and most importantly, have intimate knowledge about the city of Prague. I have worked as a hotelier for a while before and this is how hotels should be run. This place would give larger establishments a run for their money. The pictures on their website may give an impression that the rooms and furniture are old and dated but make no mistake, it is absolutely spotless. The daily breakfast that comes with your stay is by no means exhaustive but it kept our family of four full and ready to take on the day of exploring Prague.

Had an awesome stay. Lovely small hotel with very helpful staff. Good and fresh breakfast. The hotel is located a bit off the inner city so things a nice and quiet. Be sure to check out the botanical gardens and the park down towards the river.

I wish I could give this charming hotel six stars! Easily the best hotel experience I've ever had and 2nd place isn't even close. The hotel is small but very well appointed and extremely inviting. The breakfast and refreshments are very good as well. The building is certainly not new but it has been updated very nicely and has all the modern creature comforts (including several wifi routers so you always have a strong connection). All the above is well and good but what truly separates Hotel 16 from the others is the hospitality. All the staff seem competent and friendly but the heart and soul of Hotel 16 is Adam. He is the very epitome of the perfect host (he wears a lot of hats here so it's hard to give him just one title so I'll just say 'host'). He is outgoing but not overly so. He is witty, generous, insightful, sharp as a tack and extremely knowledgeable about Prague and how/where to see it. In short, it was obvious to us from the get-go that he is passionate about making sure his guests have the perfect stay. We'd like to say Thank You to all of the Hotel 16 staff and especially Adam. If we ever make it back to Prague, we will definitely be returning to this establishment.

Excellent service, very helpful and dedicated staff. Our room was a little small, and it takes about 15 to 20 min to walk to the main attractions. We booked the first night through Expedia, and they adjusted the price for us afterwards. I would definitely come back here, and I highly recommend it!

I have never stayed in such a warm and welcoming hotel. We were greeted with enthusiasm and kindness. Coffee and tea are always available for free if you want it, breakfast is fantastic, and rooms superbly clean. I was very impressed with the service that this hotel offered and I will be back to stay here again. This was by far the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. Period.
