Basilica of Sts Peter and Paul at Vyšehrad (Basilika svätých Petra a Pavla) is one of many attractions at Vyšehrad which is about 10 minutes walk from metro Station Vyšehrad. The Basilica is one of the most to visit place in Prague. Beautiful Cathedral with common historical identity and atmosphere which is a join walk and staying there for a while. These days before Christmas there is also Bethlehem artefacts, a small exhibition with Bethlehem figures relate to advent period before Christmas. Also was open a small exhibition of treasure at Basilica which was very nice touch, and the view (very close to basilica) from the place Vyšehrad on Prague is one of most visited places to look from the High on Prague city. Definitely Vyšehrad place is worth place to visit when you get to Prague.

The St. Peter and Paul Cathedral is a beautiful Neo-Gothic church. It's worth noting that there is an admission fee to enter, but you can still admire the church from the outside, which offers a glimpse of its stunning architecture.

My favourite place in Czech Praha. The basilica itself is so beautiful from inside out. The cemetery of famous people is surrounding the basilica. Walking along the whole region of vysehrad is a joyful journey. You could see the spectacular scenery from any angle.

It may seem like a strange thing to ask for an entry fee but this might be one of the (if not the) most beautiful church there is. It’s a work of art, honestly.

Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City stands as a majestic testament to human achievement, faith, and artistic brilliance. This iconic basilica is an awe-inspiring destination that captivates visitors with its grandeur, breathtaking architecture, and spiritual significance. Approaching Saint Peter's Basilica, one is immediately struck by its immense size and striking beauty. The facade, adorned with intricate details and magnificent sculptures, sets the stage for the wonder that lies within. As the largest Christian church in the world, the basilica's sheer scale is awe-inspiring and leaves a lasting impression.

A beautiful and quiet place, the basilica is neo-gothic. The basilica features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin 58 m towers can be seen atop a hill to the south from along the Vltava River in central Prague. Behind the church is located large park and Vyšehrad cemetery, the final resting place of many famous Czechs.

A lovely walk up to Saint Peter and Paul's church from Prague Old Town. Amazing architecture and superb views from the walls. Walked back down the steps to the river and back to the old town. Will definitely return another time.

What a beautiful Church. Amazing location and great walking path. We really loved walking around here. Great view of the Prague city from the top. The inside part of the church was really beautiful. Beautiful art work and paintings on the walls. I would really suggest this place. Must visit.

This cathedral is situated on a rocky promontory above the Vltava River, with a 360* stunning view. The huge park holds a good amount of original Baroque statues from the Charles Bridge by Prague Castle. 3 km from Prague and walking distance from the Holiday Inn Congress Center, where I spent my two nights in the Czech. The national cemetery Slavín stands next to this cathedral and holds the underground casements. The total length of this walk was about one Km round trip from where I parked. The was full of picnic mode, I was told the nationals often conduct Tea ceremonies.

Absolutely stunning and breathtaking, size of this building alone makes you feel tiny. The walk up isn’t too bad and the courtyard and surrounding areas are lovely

Majestic both from the outside and the inside. The price of the ticket is absolutely fine for the really nice and particular decoration you find inside.

Stunning, art nouveau masterpiece inside. I don't regret my ticket. Great neo gothic architecture, frescoes, painting and also an exhibition of historical objects and belongings from religious historical figures. Don't miss also the song of the basilca...a nice chime you Can Hear Every hour during the day. Charming.

Chappel with great architecture. Interiors looks so elegant. I felt very good sitting there for couple of minutes. When we visited, the entry was free with voluntary donation. Worth visiting here

One of Prague's top sites! It's a little out of the way, but easily accessible by public transportation. A haven of peace and calm in the city. A large park complex with the beautiful basilica at its centre. A lovely place to visit at any time of year, with views over Prague and the Vltava River. There are cafes and beer gardens, the Saint Martin rotunda, and the cemetery where many famous Czechs are buried. Don't miss this place!

Beautiful Gothic Church on a hill. Famous viewpoint across the Vltava and the old town to Prague Castle. Adjacent cemetery with the resting places of some of Prague’s most influential people.

Easily one of my favorite churches. It stands out and has an amazing architecture both as exterior and interior. I visited it first time back in 2019 but this year i finally came back and was able to see inside and it was amazing.

I have been to many many Basilicas but this is unique in a sense that it is surrounded by beautiful nature. The building from outside is somewhat similar to many others but inside it is unique with beautiful walls. It is kind of small.

Absolutely wonderful Art Noveau panings in the churtch. They are inspired by Mucha, that is burried in the grave yard next to the churtch. You can find the graves of Smetana, Dvorak snd other fameous Czechs.

The interior is absolutely stunning. This is a place you should prioritise on your Prague to do list. I had the place to myself for a full 15 minutes, which was a lovely reprieve from the usual bustle of tourists in other churches. Located in the beautiful Vysehrad Park, a visit to the Basilicia is the perfect quiet afternoon activity.

Sehr alte Basilika bzw.

It's an amazing church, must see it on the inside and don't miss the cemetery. It's like a sculpture gallery!

Stunning basilica with a lovely surrounding area to visit (park nearby) and to take pictures in. Inside it is beautiful and colourful and worth a visit. If you are taking a taxi, they will drop you at the bottom of the walk up which is only a 5 minute walk.

Religious and magic at the same time... With glorious architecture style inside. Beautiful stained glass windows deserve special attention. Icons and figures of saints are also works of art.
