Now, they are nice and speak different languages. They also are available. But I am a bit uncertain regarding the competency. Very long story short, if he would have agreed to send me for a scan (as I asked 3 times, but apparently it wasn't a priority), they probably would found my tumor before it developed into a life threatening 20cm painful one.

When first I called them it was fine,but whenI told that I speak Czech very bad and I'm foreigner they started to speak in very horrible and fast English that they're full and can't help me. But I was pretty sure,that they just dont want mess with foreigners.

The person who took the phone was very rude. I asked for an appointment, she asked if I'm registered, I said no and in 2 seconds she said "no new patients, full capacity" and hang the phone, without anything else and leaving me with the word in the mouth. I'm so happy I didn't go there as I needed a quick check for my company that would cost 70e for 5 minutes of his time.

He is my doctor since 2017 and I can only say good things about him. Reading reviews that he does not have empathy is a bit shocking because he is the most kindest empathetic doctor I've ever met in this country that even my daughter loves seeing him during my check ups. He listens to all my complaints and explains everything thoroughly. When it comes to checking up, he is thorough and does not push medications I'm not comfortable with. It's very easy to communicate with him via phone or email. Sestra doesn't speak English but she is a pleasant person.

As a tourist I recommend this doctors office to anyone who needs medical assistance. Do not go to where your hotel suggests. The doctor was extremely helpful and caring and did not overcharge. I cannot suggest this place enough if you are looking for medical help in Prague.

really good doctor, you can feel he likes his job and does not pretend to be nice. Speaks fluent English and Czech (i think french too)

This guy give me an appointment and when I show up, the lady that was there is telling me he is Holliday... this guy takes appointment during his Holliday. He can’t even take an appointment correctly I can only imagine the mess in his head.

I am a new patient of Dr. Blade, but he accepted me very well, with all my fears and tried to soothe me to feel positive about my health conditions. His examination was very detailed, he wanted to know all about my health history and symptoms and gave some tips what to do next. Only thing I waited for weeks to meet him, I hope if someday I will need him urgently, there will be a gap in the schedule.

Sehr kompetente Behandlung. Freundlicher Arzt sowie sehr nette Medizinische Fachangestellte. Ich war während meines Aufenthalts in Prag erkrankt und wurde sehr gut behandelt. Ich habe angerufen und konnte sofort vorbeikommen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Very satisfied with the service provided by DR BALDE. I have been his patient for almost 5 years at the time of the review. I’m really surprised by the bad reviews posted . I can share my own experience, I have been welcomed on last minute appointments even during the peak COVID time when all the medical practicians in Prague were refusing to welcome patients, Dr Balde has always demonstrated professionalism and support. He has diagnosed an illness that no other practicians has spotted. I was sent for scans, he did the follow up and later put on a treatment and the pain disappear. As a human being we sometimes want a quick fix and when some requests aren’t fulfilled we are quick to post bad reviews. DR Balde has integrity and moral and on top of that he cares for his patients.

I would not recommend this doctor at all since I came to ask guidance during pregnancy and for blood test as I am not eating meat and was sick a lot during my first trimester, my gynecologist advised to request a full view blood test to make sure I am not lacking anything, this doc balde advised that they do blood test every 2 years in case I have anemia. How can he find out if I have anemia if he does state I can have the test in 2 years. He suggested I might be sick because of stomach issue (I guess he knows a lot about pregnancy). No guidance just wanted to stress how much and what is covered by insurance. I spent 10mins listening why and what I can’t do. What a waste of time!

Worst doctor ever with little empathy. I myself am the son of a doctor and I have been visited by many doctors in my life. Years ago he was my doctor and I remember once I had a throat infection and went to him to get a prescription for antibiotics. The doctor offered me a further examination to see if the infection was bacterial or viral at the "modest" figure of 3000 CZK. So I was forced to leave without a prescription ... but after a few days due to the excruciating pain I went back to him and he finally prescribed me the antibiotic.

Good, solid, caring, responsive and above all empathetic. Practice is a bit overloaded, being an english speaking doctor in Vinohrady, and the opening times a bit limiting due to being alone there but still a great option for a GP. Very helpful and friendly nurse too.
