Maly Eden is the best place for coffee, matcha or cocoa after hard lectures. It is in an ideal place directly across the road, where you often have to wait a few minutes for cars to pass safely and you can cross it quickly, because crossing about 20 meters away is simply "too far". We never miss anything here, I go here either to chat, wait for class, or open my computer and textbooks and study here for hours. Recently, however, the underground space received a significant upgrade, which we didn't know we needed, but it became a major attraction for us and even a reason not to go to the pre-board. Thanks to the invited Ukrainian and the advice of the event, a children's corner with games and puzzles was created for them. Yes, they are children's puzzles, but they are so simple that they can be put together and solved during the hours you are here. We really appreciate the choice of theme - 101 Dalmatians and Cars - and what I really have to point out is the completeness of the sets. Not a single problem is missing. Perfect.

A cosy student cafe/pub with great service, delicious beer, and tasty typical little Czech pub snacks.

Very cozy cafe, pleasant service, nice atmosphere. Books, board games, a gramophone and a typewriter are available there. They make good coffee (even with soy milk), they brew Hubertus beer, they have Seicha Matcha on tap, and in general it's relatively cheap there. I also recommend trying the toast with sour cream and cherry tomatoes or the local pickled ermine.
