Absolutely amazing wine bar, from the location, to the interior (the walls / wallpapers are gorgeous), to the wines and staff. Without exaggeration, easily one of the best wine bars I have ever been to. I recommend coming as early as you can (at best, right when they open), because then you get an extra amount of time to properly and quietly listen to the wonderful staff explaining their concept, choice of wines, and food menu. We had a selection of five different natural / low intervention / bio dynamic wines from the Czech Republic. Our host of the night took us on a taste journey through the vineyards of the Czech Republic, serving us amazing bubbles, white, orange and red wines, in an order that meant that the different colours still fit great together. The staff also doesn’t push their food menu, it‘s just there - something I really appreciate. We went for the cheese selection, which came with a nice bread an a very delicious apricot jam, which I recommend combining with one of the solid types of cheese. My wife and I would like to thank you again for the great time we had with you guys - and wish you lots of success with your concept.

Lovely staff that helped me pick up some unique wines to take home. Would recommend to anyone visiting! Also love that they do half glasses so you can try a few things! Can’t wait to try them, each are so unique and the prices were unbelievable.

$$$$ 4 wines 1000czk! Ripping off! They never offer us a price range directly serve a 10€ / 230czk for a glass of wine. No menu was offered. 30czk for tap water lovely! End up paying over 1000czk for 4 glasses of wine. Joke! Bartenders drinking wine and eating in front of costumers…

Wer Weinfreak ist, der ist hier genau richtig. Und wer noch keiner ist, der wird es sicherlich hier. Spezialisiert ist das Veltlin auf Naturwein vor allem aus dem europäischen Raum, wie Tschechien, Slowakei, Österreich und Ungarn. Kleine Snacks bekommt man hier auch, aber der Fokus liegt definitiv auf dem Wein. Ein wunderbarer Ort, zu dem ich sicherlich sehr gern wieder kommen werde.

Great wine, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. It feels like they have a personal story to tell about every wine they serve which contributed to a nice experience. But the cheese wasn't that great. They drowned it in oil so you couldn't really taste the cheese anymore.

Reassuringly expensive. An unusual wine bar tucked away from the tourists in Karlin. Absolutely top wines, distinctive, interesting and delicious. Very knowledgable staff who will bring a few for you to taste before you choose. A very pleasant atmosphere on a warm late spring evening, perfect place for a relaxed after work tipple. 🍷

My partner and I came to Veltlin at the suggestion of friends. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wines, especially Kristyna. I highly recommend and will absolutely be coming back here in the the future.

Amazing wine bar in a great location. This bar started my obsession with natural wines, they're simply amazing and very unique. Love the focus on local production. The interior as well as outside is very cozy with a great atmosphere in general. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable which made the experience that much better. I will be back here as soon as I get the chance.

uf. i was walking by this place often and loved the vibe. one night I decided to check it out and boy was I disappointed 🥲 unfortunately it was very loud as every other place in Prague. Staff was lovely, service as well,can't say a bad word. The wine. I've never had such a bad wine. it is presented as smth unique but it doesn't make it taste any better. My bad for not saying it, but it makes me uncomfortable to keep saying "i don't like it". After we left my gf was immediately not feeling well, my tongue felt like it was chemically burned. and the final price for two 0.1 glasses of wine...ouch...my tongue was already burned so I was literally speechless 🥲 oh there's no menu, but they let you know. I never felt so bad after a visit of place I wanted to like so much 😭 literally, not my cup of wine.

Visited this natural wine bar and shop in Prague and had an incredible experience. The guy who served us showcased an unbelievable knowledge of wines. He expertly guided us through 6 amazing glasses, each a delightful surprise. We also left with 3 carefully selected bottles to enjoy back home in London. The service was exceptional, making it a memorable evening. Highly recommend for any natural wine enthusiast!

For my money, by far the best wine bar in Prague, and very good with any standards. The staff is enthusiastic and know their trade, and the wines - in particular the local wines - are of a quality and variety that you will not find elsewhere. A perfect place for a journey through modern Czech wine making (and of you're new to that, you'll be surprised by the quality).

Visiting Prague with family for a couple days, and this place had everything I look for in a wine bar when traveling. Outside the main tourist drags but still easy to reach, specialized concept with local low intervention wines from both big names AND lesser known producers (to my little corner of Europe anyhow), appropriate pricing vs. quality, and very importantly, knowledgeable, attentive service without pretension . Extremely happy I managed to squeeze this in. Thanks so much to the owners/staff!

Not much to say except : wonderful wines and really amazing advice (we were quite specific 😅) great atmosphere, very tasty food (think cheese and cold cuts, all well selected) and decent prices when you think of the amount of work needed to have such a place! Greatly recommended 👌

Excellent service and first class wines makes for an all round stellar experience. One can only but recommended this mature (12 years and counting if my memory doesn't fail me) establishment. A must visit.
