Tony. M Liverpool UK Had Bleph performed in March 2019 at this clinic. The staff are nice people but the quality of the surgery is shocking. I still have big bags under my eyes. My right eyelid is deformed. The outside of my right eye is very tight and uncomfortable. My right Eyebrow has an indentation in it. 5 months on I am sorry I used this place. My lower eyes bags look no different very disappointed. Its not the price being cheap that matters its the botched job. Better off paying more elsewhere. My honest advice is don't go here. It's terrible. Stay in UK and pay the evxtra for peace of mind.

A couple of months ago I had the spatz gastric balloon done with this clinic. I had to wait before posting a review because it was honestly a pretty traumatic experience. Setting up the appointment and getting to the clinic was great. They sent a taxi for me which was nice and checking in was great. The room and facilities were also quite nice. However, it all went downhill from there. Several months prior to the procedure, I notified the clinic that I do not do well with conscious sedation ( I have had two bad experiences prior to this) and that it would not work for this procedure. I was assured that the anesthesiologist would take this into account and work with me. I verified this as the date got closer. When I got to the clinic I reminded them of this and was told that the anesthesiologist would come talk to me about it. She did come to my room, but it was just to give me medication before taking me down, despite the fact that I again reminded them of my issues with conscious sedation. She assured me that it would be taken care of. Upon getting to the operation room, I was told to lay down on my side and the nurse placed a guard in my mouth. Then the scope was forced down my throat. Now, I had already told the clinic that not only did I have bad experiences with conscious sedation (which were completely ignored), but I also notified them of my bad experience with an endoscopy about a year prior. Needless to say, I spent the next 20 minutes completely panicked, completely awake and competent, and in loads of pain while violently gagging the ENITRE TIME. I tried to shift slightly a couple of times but was pretty well pounced on by several nurses and held down on the table. By the end I was shaking, sweating, and in tears. My face and eyes were FULL of burst blood vessels (petechia) after spending 20 minute violently wrenching (which I have pictures of). Consious sedation is supposed to sedate the patient nearly to sleep, and cause short term memory loss so the patient does not remember the procedure. However, as I warned them, not only does it not sedate me, but I remember EVERYTHING. I then spent the afternoon and the next morning more or less being completely ignored in my room. I have worked as a tech in an emergency room for years, so I am well versed in medicine as well as bedside manner. It was completely missing here. I realize that the Czech Republic is about 50 years behind in terms of patient-doctor relationship/trust as well as bedside manner, but this was truly traumatic. I am especially upset because I warned several people several times about my known reaction to conscious sedation meds and was completely ignored and disregarded. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to have the ballon removed at this clinic as I am not willing to repeat the experience. I will have it done in the states where the doctors will give me a general anesthetic. This really is verging on medical malpractice.

I Had a very positive experience at the clinic. Great team, great communication. Very professional. I found the surgeon Dr Kryzko very patient and attentive. I was worried on the day as i arrived for surgery in the morning but due to other patients did not go in till late afternoon. I needn't have worried everything seemed to go smoothly. I had a tummy tuck and breast reduction just over 2 weeks ago and already the results are fantastic. Of course it was a big decision to go abroad for surgery but I do not regret it all. I travelled to Prague in February 2022 to get eyelid surgery. Its something I had been thinking about for so long and so glad I decided to go with Medical travel Czech. Everything about the trip was so easy and my travel coordinator Svetlana could not have done anymore of us. I travelled with my partner and 5 year old son and she made sure we were so well looked after. Making sure Travel to and from accommodation was looked after. Edit: It's been 4 years since my liposuction and I wish every day that I could take it all back. My results came out incredibly uneven and no amount of working out or weight loss has ever improved it.. In fact it made my legs worse. I was a patient in the plastic surgery clinic over the past weekend and had the most wonderful care imaginable. From the start the international patient coordinators were friendly, helpful and communicated promptly. The doctor was warm and kind and made me feel completely at ease. My overnight nurse in their beautiful clinic was there for me every minute. I dont know exactly how my surgery will turn out just yet but I have every reason to be hopeful and can not recommened this clinic more highly.

Medical travel ( Klara) was very helpful in helping me set up my Tummy tuck surgery. Any questions I had, she would answer them which helped calm my nerves about the upcoming surgery. Klara scheduled my cab ride from the airport to my hotel, as well as scheduling my cab ride to the clinic the morning of. The morning of the procedure, Petra met me at the clinic and helped walk me through all the paperwork and went with me when I met with Dr. Polak. I felt having someone there with me helped calm my nerves. I felt having someone I could text/email my questions to during my stay was also helpful. For several years I have been wanting to perform a nose operation, and I had recently read and heard from friends that Prague has several excellent options for surgery. Considering I didn't know any specific clinic, I decided to contact Medical Travel Czech Republic, whose website looked from the first moment really professional and reliable. I have used medical travel Czech Republic twice first time was 2019 for gastric balloon and second was breast augmentation and lower blepharoplasty December 2022. I was contacted by a wonderful woman called Petra.she talked me through the procedures and helped put my mind at ease she booked transfers from airport and hotel to clinic she even booked accommodation for my husband whilst I would be staying in hospital.I arrived at laser esthetic clinic for tests and to meet surgeon pre op Petra accompanied me in the morning for this she came in with me to meet the surgeon. I chose dr krejca he was wonderful and so caring. He told me the reality and outcomes of surgery and what to expect. I wanted upper blepharoplasty but he refused and told me skin wasn’t bad enough and there was nothing to correct as I am only 33. He even asked if there was anyway I would reconsider having surgery as It was a big step and he thought I was fine the way I was but I had already made my mind up. I love how honest he was and how he wasn’t just there to take my money I respect everything this doctor said he is a wonderful surgeon and a lovely man.I am 2 weeks post op and can say dr krejca has done a brilliant job I will definitely be going back and using medical travel Czech Republic/dr krejca again in the future. I would also like to say a massive thank you to the lovely 2 young ladies who was there from day of tests all the way through my surgery and recovery they never left my side.but most of all thank you Petra I don’t think I could have did it without her help.( if you are looking for night time entertainment with food Petra is an amazing jazz singer go check her out ;) ).

My experience so far has been great. From the time I reach out to inquire about my procedure type, all the way to having Petra ( my coordinator)calling me to start the process, everything went to smooth. Communication has been delightful, straightforward and comprehensive. Having an all inclusive price really helps put patients’ mind at ease ( because in a foreign country, where I didn’t speak the language, I was glad to have someone order the taxi to pick me up on surgery day, plan my stay at the clinic after surgery for observation, etc…). My surgeon was also good, gave me confidence but was also straight forward when it come to expectations management. I am still in my recovery phase and very hopeful on my results ( will give more update later in that regards).The clinic where the surgery took place is modern, clean with very appealing.
