October 2016. I've suffered with poor vision for over forty years with a bad lazy eye and astigmatism and sick of wearing thick glasses, then onto contact lenses, i decided enough was enough. I Started looking around on the internet after hearing about interoculor lens replacement surgery, I came across Pragamedica and Duovize which is the same company and Duovize the clinic who carried out my eye surgery. The main reason i chose pragmedica was there excellent reviews and i decided to put my trust in their hands. The doctors carried out extensive tests on my eyes with numerous equipment which took around three hours, to decide what was the best option for my eyes and suggested tri focal inter ocular lens replacement surgery . Which will let me see near and intermediate and distance. The surgeon Dr Lubomir Tovarek who carried out my operation was excellent he made me feel very relaxed all through the surgery. The bit i must express is that while you are waiting to go into the operating room, you are in a little room been prepared for the surgery with about two or three other people all waiting for there turn and every ten minutes or so a nurse comes round everyone with local anaesthetic eye drops to numb the eye which is been operated on, I can assure you the operation is painless you do not feel a thing the surgeon Dr Lubomir Tovarek is so gentle he was fantastic, i cant express my appreciation to him enough. Because i had very poor vision in my right eye which was my lazy eye the doctors wanted to operate on this eye first, the next morning when i took the patch off i was so overwhelmed with the result i could see perfect for the first, in my life i couldn't wait to have my other eye operated on, and after the surgery on my left eye, next morning i was worried with my eyes been so bad with my lazy eye, as to the result to expect, i was so worried, i fell asleep that night with my patch covering my left eye, I woke up at about 04.30 in the middle of the morning and my patch had fallen off. I went to look out of my hotel window to see what i could see i was on the sixth floor and Prague city in darkness only street lights and shops and hotels.. I could not believe how good i could see it was an amazing experience i got dressed straight away and went for a walk through Prague to take in what i could see, My vision was so crystal clear it was the best day of my life, i cant thank everyone enough,, at pragmedica and Duovize they have changed my life forever.. Don,t Hesitate if you are thinking about having this surgery, go to Prague i found the doctors more professional than the opticians in England my experience in England it was all about the money and not the patient and i costs half the price and the doctors and staff at pragmedica and DuoVize was excellent they treat everyone with so much care and professionalism they take care of you all the way from start to finish,,,, My sincere appreciation to everyone,,,

I was waiting three months for this eye exam. I am asked to be there at 7.15 in the morning and considering the fact that the examination would take around 3 hours I move my work meetings in the second part of the day. At 7.10 I am there, the clinic is closed and a group of people are waiting in front of the door already. They indeed opened the door at 7.15, I pay for the examination and wait. At 8.10 I am still there waiting. Why? I don't know and I have no idea when my actual examination will begin. Realizing that I can't make it to my meetings in the afternoon I am asking for my money back because I can't wait any longer. The girl at desk where I paid is telling me: "Well, you know that the examination is taking three hours, right?" Well, exactly! Three hours + I don't know how many more waiting; is that supposed to make me feel better about this? Whomever is managing this clinic has no respect for people's time and very bad organizing skills. It's sad that people are still accepting this in 2023.

Avoid! They messed up my eyesight, caused me severe long sightedness. They give you fake reassurances that you'll be taken care of, but as soon as you've paid they treat you like garbage. There are plenty of good clinics out there, this feels like a scam. Save your health and go somewhere else.

I do not hesitate to recommend the DuoVize eye clinic in Prague, for English speakers as well. I felt that the entire staff was professional, patient, friendly, competent, and thorough; from the first eye exam through the FemtoLasik operation and post-op appointment, I was completely at ease. I typically have a bit of a phobia regarding anything to do with my eyes -- could never even wear contact lenses. But getting rid of my glasses after many years was definitely worth the experience. The results 24 hours after my operation are excellent. Again, my full recommendation to the entire staff at DuoVize!

I had eye surgery done here at the duovize clinic in conjunction with praga medica, the surgery was peformed to a very high level of quality by Dr. Jana Miksovska. It is now one month later and my vision is doing great, I don't need glasses anymore. Dr. Miksovska is a highly experienced, kind and friendly surgeon and I felt I was in safe hands with her and she spoke good English, I can recommend to anyone considering eye surgery.

Stay away from this company, there are several competitors with better client support. I had the eye surgery in June 2021, right after my surgery I noticed that my vision wasn't correct (indeed worse than before), as I couldn't focus on anything beyond one meter. I requested an examination and the clinic said that I would only be able to take return examinations one month after the surgery, and suggested to schedule it to 6 months after the surgery when the vision should be stabilized. Now I requested the return that should be included in the package (at no additional cost as informed written by them before the surgery) and they charged me for this. Additionally, the website informs that you can parcel the payment at no additional cost, but if you ask for this at the clinic they say it is not possible and ask for the full payment beforehand. Finally, they have two packages, one that includes additional corrections in case of imperfections from the surgery and one that doesn't include these corrections, they do not inform it to you, and you only find about it if your surgery doesn't go as expected. Sincerely sad to have chosen this clinic with so many fair options.

Very bad post operation service. Extremely slow to respond and seemingly unwilling to give me an appointment. After a first phone call saying I have problems with my eyes after an operation done 3 years ago, I am unable to get a hold of them again over the phone.

I travelled from the UK and had lens replacement treatment at this clinic at the beginning of September 2021. The results have been spectacular, beyond my wildest dreams and I think, from the follow up exams, even the clinic are pleased with the outcome. The treatment was quite conveyor beltish but professional and in the end (despite my fears) pain free. Dr Továrek was so calming and reassuring, I can't speak highly enough of him. Practically, the Panorama Hotel is a 5 minute walk away with all you could need in the shopping centre next to it.

The clinic and the procedure was fine, the only unfortunate thing is that the doctor who makes the revisions repeatedly shames you for not being Czech speaker, in every appointment she mentioned I should speak Czech even knowing I am foreigner, I choose this clinic because it's advertised as ENGLISH speaker friendly and all of the staff was indeed very nice and English speaking, the doctor was very unprofessional on that side.

I was waiting for appointment for 6 months and got an sms that it’a cancelled right before the first session. When called and asked to reschedule, the clinic couldn’t give any new appointments and said they are very sorry. I literally wasted 6 months when could go to another place.

Had the laser eye surgery here. One day later, perfect eye sight, staff are amazing and there’s helpers on hand that speak English so no need to worry, most staff have some English anyway. Procedure itself is a little uncomfortable but zero pain. €5000 in Ireland, €1440 in this clinic. No brainer.

Trifocal Lens replacement. Great clinic, staff and surgeon. No pain, can’t fault the whole experience. Perfect vision, I can see halos around car lights in the dark but as told this will diminish over time. 1 MONTH ON No issues, followed advice re antibiotic drops. Healed absolutely fine. Can’t believe no pain, not even a bloodshot eye!

Please be carful, Very very very bad doctor and nurses gave me wrong numbers for my eye glasses after spending 4 hours at the clinic testing my eyes from room to the other, fancy rooms fancy look with very bad service!!!! I will not forgive you for what you did, I have spent money for nothing!!!!

My lense replacement was carried out without any issues, all staff are very pleasant and preparation for my operation was carried out very efficiently as was the operation itself and the aftercare was first class.

Can't recommend the treatments at this place! Friendly staff, trustworthy doctors, and the place runs efficiently. Come in earlier than your scheduled appointment if you want to be taken in on the agreed time as they work on a queue basis. I had an eye laser surgery to treat my short sightedness and astigmatism, and it's LIFE-CHANGING. The surgery is a little bit freaky but it's over very, very quickly. I was quite shaken and felt a bit sick after it and the staff helped me to feel stable again. They give very clear instructions on how to take the best care of yourself after the treatment. You can fly out the day after the surgery. I wasn't sure about my blurry eyesight for quite a while though, and when I came in for a check-up one month after the treatment, the doctor said that my eyes are extremely dry and I need to use an eye cream directly on the eye at night time. That solved my issue completely and I now see 100% sharp! Thank you, NeoVize!

Superb professional treatment from the start to the finish - free airport transfers, someone to meet me from the hotel the first required visit, and excellent care throughout. Thoroughly satisfied with my eyesight post -op and am very grateful for the overall experience - and all this at close to a third of the price in the UK if you opt to go private. Zu Beginn war ich skeptisch da man 420€ als Anzahlung leisten muss. Vor allem für jemanden wie mich der sowas noch nie zuvor gemacht hat, kam ein mulmiges Gefühl hoch. Vor allem im Ausland! (Da konnte sich niemand vorstellen das ich das ernst gemeint habe) Nun, ich habe der ganzen Sache vertraut und sehe jetzt wie ein Adler. Aber ich erwähne hier noch eine Komplikation: Zur Nacht der Operation habe ich Lippenherpes gekriegt. Das ist der Praxis aufgefallen und wir haben den Termin verschoben. Grund ist: Die Herpesviren sorgen dafür das das Risiko stark erhöht ist zu erblinden mit der Laser-OP. Da habe ich echt Glück gehabt ! Da wusste ich, das ich es mit Profis zutun habe ! Betreuung, Aufenthalt und Fürsorglichkeit ist top ! Würde es immer weiterempfehlen !

Nice personnel, professional approach, 1 month after surgery and the result is just perfect. There are 2 things I would recommend changing and personalising a bit more: 1) The waiting time for surgery was longer than needed for me.I am a breastfeeding mom who could not take lexauring, so I could easily skip the 1h waiting for the meds (which I did not take) to become effective.... 2) More information on demand without taking part in the pre-surgery appointment (which you have to already pay for) would be nice. I asked about contradictions for breastfeeding, and also about other restrictions associated with the surgery by email, but no one would tell me, unless I went to the appointment. Also, the pre-surgery examination is valid only for 2months, so be careful about that. I originally indented to go for the surgery in September, but was kind of forced to go earlier...which after all was a good decision though.

I came here for a scheduled examination before making a decision about laser surgery. It's been 4 hours and I'm still sitting here. It's exhausting. The tests themselves took maybe an hour at max, the rest of the time is waiting.

Excellent service, good care , friendly and helpful people and at a very reasonable cost compared to UK.
