On the southeastern edge of Prague in the middle of the Hostivařské Forest Park, the largest water area in the capital city, with an area of ​​43.8 hectares, was created in the years 1961 - 64 at Botič. Right in the middle of this natural world is a swimming pool with a capacity of 10,000 visitors. Grassy and sandy beaches can be found only a short distance from the large Prague housing estates.
