At the same time, the bed of the Litovicky (Šárecký) stream was also modified, which was straightened and runs along the side of the pond, so that the pond does not become clogged with sediments from the stream. Desilting is repeated regularly. Of the trees near the pond, the memorable summer oak on the left bank and the mature weeping willow near the tributary are worth mentioning. The widest and straightest part of the pond is bordered by a railway embankment along which several times a day the missiles from Masaryk railway station pass towards Kralupy nad Vltavou and Kladno. In the future, this line should also be used for transport to the airport.
