Super nice place within Prague borders.. We went autumn and it was amazing! So many colored trees and a huge lake with a small damn. There is also a pub there and of course you can do picnic..

Prague 9, Počernice Park & Lake are on the river Rokitka, East of Prague. The lake was established in 1848. It encompasses 19.4 ha and contains 310,000 cubic meters of water. It's max depth is 3 m. This is a protected natural area with many kinds of flora and fauna.

If you wore suitable shoes there is nothing to beat your joy. Don't use unofficial footpath if you don't like mud adventure.

Very quiet and good place to relax. The pond is small and in winter gets frozen. Nice views.

Absolutely beautiful place for a walk. There is a castle (used as a children's home) with a beautiful natural park, too. Unfortunately, it is not possible to bypass the whole pond around as the trail ends approximately in the middle (because along the river in one part there is a railway track). This means that you would have to walk on an unofficial trail for a while and then get out on the road, and that road is not very nice. I recommend that you turn around where the trail ends and go back on the same beautiful trail and enjoy it again :) It is also possible to visit the other two ponds to which you can get on hiking paths: Čeněk and Vidlák, that is also a nice walk :)

This lovely park with a nice view of the pond has playgrounds for children, a restaurant with a publicly available rest room, lots of trees that create the shade to hide from the sun, a calisthenics park, a few parking places, but it is still not crowded at all.
