IKEA Today I had the worst experience buying online ever. I just wanted to get some kitchen stuff and a couple of towels. At first, I could order only the stuff which was available in the specific shop, if the chosen good was not available in shop A it is not possible to order to deliver to the shop A (despite, that it was available in the shop B in the same city). At second, you have to pay for delivery 49 CZK, so you could come and pick up personally in the shop. At third, you just could not pick it up whenever you have time. You have to choose a strict time (there is two hours range). And the last, which I was absolutely shocked. When you come at the given time, you have to stay in the queue with cars (even if you do not have a car, you just walking or arrived by public transport) in the parking. It sounds absolutely nonsense! The Czech lady is asking for your number of the order, after writing something give you a parking number where you can wait. Could you imagine waiting without a car in the rain between other cars in the parking place? I do… And I was waiting for my order for more than half an hour like this. They have such a big building, they just could organize at least a nice place with the rain cover outside for customers… To separate queue… IT IS JUST HORRIBLE.

All IKEA'S are more or less the same but the staff is not too friendly nor helpful. The worst was the hotdogs. I know they are cheap and we always have a few but the sausage quality was terrible. Either they are saving money or they were leftover from the previous day. Just terrible.

Staff were great bought a very big wardrobe already built. A special shout out to the 2 delivery guys. Don't know what they were thinking, but they still did the job with a smile.

Older I get less i try to shop here. But still for many things it is great place. Hate the fact all is packed in plastic and paper, i do understand it is hard to solve. Maybe selling for less some thing without packaging might help to persuade some consumers to change the behavior.

Your customer service at the cashier sucks. I picked up a exposition stuff by mistake and the cashier asked the security guard to take it back but she didn’t bother to ask to bring the for sale product and gave me an humiliating attitude. She could literally sell more products, but she decided not to and kinda ruined my day with that attitude. Thank you very much. One thing I realised is that she speaks Russian btw and has black long hair, if you wanna have a conversation with her.

Very rude male staff at the "information" desk... I approach them and asked politely "do you speak English" and they responded "ruski not ang"... I replied "do I look like Russian?" and one of them said "you have something against Russians?" with very hostile tone... You need to train your staff- if not in English language then at least in customer service. I've been coming to this IKEA for months now but this was the last time... RUDE RUDE RUDE.... :/ UPDATE: So I used the link provided by IKEA below my review... We are into one month later and it was not even confirmed that they are looking into the matter. I also sent separate e-mail to couple of e-mail addresses... I am disappointed with you..

wow, greatly managed! I got there, drove to the white booth, gave the number of my order, parked to the given parking spot, waited for like 3 minutes and got my order right next to my trunk! wow, I was scared that I will get old waiting there, I was there already twice, and both times it was the same - a smooth experience! thanks a lot!

Ikea in Czech Republic? Yes, please! They still have the same tasty food offerings, the maze of a showroom, and the huge self serve warehouse. But it's all in Czech. We don't speak much Czech....yet....but we did fine. Getting there was an adventure. A tram to the train followed by a bus. Google Maps has been invaluable in getting around Prague and getting to Ikea was no exception.

Great big food court - food quality is traditional for all ikea. The store has a children's room and self-service checkouts.

Just wanted to buy a carpet which costs 3790 CZK, checked prices in IKEA Czech Republic and turns out it is 20% more expensive than in Germany (129 eur), Poland (599 PLN), Slovakia (129 eur), Hungary. Shame on you, IKEA Czech Republic

Worst experience ever with the employee at the Smaland. Dropped off my child before heading into the store. The lady was very condescending throughout the registration process and pretty much yelled at me. During the registration I had to sign that the time limit for a child to stay in Smaland is 120 minutes. When everything was done the lady mumbled something and I only understood that she was talking about a time limit. Just to confirm I repeated the 2 hours I just signed. That started a barrage on me that this was only for Ikea and not for some other shop. When I pointed out that I just signed terms and conditions talking about 120 min she kept repeating in a loud a rude tone that this was only for ikea and not for other shops.

Most of employees were friendly, but some of their employees needs a training on customer care. Namely, 15min before closing time I was going to pay and had to book a delivery at the info point, but one of the employees (Michal) decided it's too short time for him to book this 15min before his shift ends, so I had to call his supervisor and when she arrived it suddenly became very doable. This caused me a little bit inconveniences, but in general the rest of their employees service was good.

The rude Stan staff, at an IKEA we've all experienced. We spent some wonderful days in Prague and only met nice people, but this branch tops everything. I wanted to get a shopping trolley and I was there and it was snatched from my hand. I only understood the reason later because they wanted to fill up the shopping baskets. You can talk to me and do it in a nice way at the checkout I haven't experienced this for a long time. The employees absolutely need training or maybe more money🤔

Their guard sprayed pepper spray in my face for NO reason. Probably he was waiting for it his whole career. Ikea is using forced unpaid labor of Belarusian political prisoners. Not just shame, Ikea must pay a lot for supporting human rights violations in Belarus. They also use radioactive materials to produce children furniture.

VERY BAD SERVICE, appalling. I was planning a kitchen with "specialist". I had to choose every little thing and plan something I had no idea about and that "specialist" did NOTHING to help, all they did were staring unfriendly and clicking things on the computer, something I could do myself. I had to know the exact height of the kitchen counter I wanted. I am 150cm tall and wanted a kitchen that is a standard, 60 cm high. However, neither of those "specialists" warned me, there would be "nožičky", as in, the "legs", a foundation underneath the kitchen counters, that is another 20cm, and I ended up with 80 cm high kitchen counter, that is much higher that your "standard", a total waste that costed me 100 000 CZK. And they knew it very well, but didn't warn me. I even stepped in front of counter (actual 60 cm high) that they have in their "showroom" to see, how it would look like. The unfriendly "specialist" was standing there and staring at me with a blank expression without saying anything. Think twice before you order anything with those guys.

Home improvement store with a wide range of furniture, decorative and useful items for one's household. It has overall a simple but functional design. The prices are reasonable. The store has really good facilities, restaurant and café, which are very popular with the customers. Due to this fact, it can get very crowded on popular days. There is a huge parking lot in the front of the building. Those customers who want to avoid the crowds can order the products online and pick them up in self service boxes. Unfortunately it is not comfortable to reach the store without a car as it is a bit out of the way. If one doesn't live in the neighborhood, it takes quite some time to take the metro and then a bus to reach it. The store is in a shopping area with other stores restaurants and cafés.

Update: I am still trying to make IKEA solve it. It is 28 days of my brain wasting by IKEA. After the reclamation is done (if it happens), I will describe all the unlogic and terrible communication by IKEA. They are doing everything so you give up on reclamation!! Never buy IKEA kitchen! 🤮 🤬Total unwillingness to solve problems with reclamation of kitchen from IKEA. The kitchen is only 2 years old (planned, measured, purchased and finally installed -all by IKEA), family 2 adults and 1 kid using it only 2 years. Half of the kitchen is unfunctional. Reclamation Department tells me it's my fault because they do not know how I was opening the dishwasher. How you can open the dishwasher other way then it is possible to open!? 🤯 Very smart question from a seller to a customer 🤔 So just do not buy it! Quality is bad and service is bad, whatever price you pay there (our kitchen together with installation was around 180k czk). After 2 years: digester is not usable, washdisher door has lost it's screws, the fridge needs to be professionally cleaned/repaired and even water battery is hanging on the top of the sink. This is your IKEA kitchen after 2 years of usage. I guess after 5 you can start to order new one.

Worst decision was buy kitchen here. Always some part is missing, after installation half of the kitchen I’m still waiting for working desk delivery (where no one said to me during buying it). And after that I should wait again another month for desk and technic installation. Overall I bought kitchen in August and finished it going to be in the end of November. Some of electro devices also should be changed/replaced by warranty but again, waiting for a service man to come for week already. My suggestion is to pay bit more for a kitchen in another place but you will receive everything in one time, less head ache. Upd. My installation was moved from 24.11 to 12.12 due to subcontractor issue. Today when I’m writing this review still fully not installed. Need to wait another day(that was said on call center) to install electrical devices and sink. Omg. Seems like this process endless 1st installation 5.09 2nd installation 24.11(moved) 2nd installation 12.12 3rd installation …..

I recommend being very cautious while returning anything bought on-line. Customer service is really badly educated about consumer laws and very unfriendly. To make long story short - I tried to return an online purchase (that I cancelled - but the system had an error) at the store. Because I was withdrawing from the online purchase agreement within 14 days they are supposed to return all the money I paid (including the cheapest delivery cost). Ikea staff repeatedly refused to do so, after a long and really feisty fight (with raised voices at me) they agreed to put the money back on a gift card (while I had a right to get it back on my credit card). Sadly only after the fight I noticed they even mention the right to the full reimbursement of costs in the e-mail that I got from them after my purchase - so I'm 100% sure I was right. It's an EU law and it's ridiculous that Ikea employees do not know about it.

Neither like nor dislike. Some of the items are fine, some furniture items are fragile. Convenient when one moves to a new city and that the accommodation must be furnished rapidly at a reasonable price.

👍👍 We had a very positive experience with the xxxLutz store at Černý Most while ordering our kitchen. We were lucky to have a great kitchen consultant, Aneta Ryznarova, who spoke English very well. 👍👍 Don’t usually review coffees cuz it’s not my cup of tea (god I’m good with these puns) but this one was special and very wholesome. The barista was extremely sweet and nice and the caramel latte banged and woke my organs up after a long night
