Pass this one, definitely not worth it it's just stickers now stuck over what may have been a painting. Disappointed

Amazing tour well worth the money, very knowledgeable tour guide and very proud of their beautiful city, plus so much fun riding round Prague. I would highly recommend doing a tour with them you won't regret it.

Visited it on 20th June and would say the Lennon wall looks different than its original as many have covered the face since then. But its a colorful wall attraction with a great message. The shop inside sells really cool works too so do check that out.

It was alright. I'd say it is worth seeing, because of Lennon, but beautiful graffiti is obscured by people's signatures. Place is pretty crowded, especially at noon, when people are coming back from the castle, and it's pretty challenging to take a picture without someone in the frame

Worth a visit, try and go early so there's no need to queue to take photos (I say queue, but most people don't and will just push in, so early means there's not too many folk around) there's a support of Ukraine poetry event at the wall which was interesting. It's a bright and bold wall which I'm glad we made a stop off at. Also, just round the corner is a beautiful waterwheel which you can see from a small bridge. It's a lovely wee area.

the wall is nice, there are some nice drawings. The only thing is that it is not advisable to go in the evening but during the day.

What a peaceful and quiet respite from St Charles bridge. Everyone seemed quiet and reflective and took turns to take pics in front of the wall. Imagine. Had the best time stopping in the Wall Pub after our time at the Lennon wall. Staff were so friendly and we met other travelers and enjoyed a pint. Don’t skip it

An excellent and must-see attraction while in Prague. This was on my list of places to visit and it did not disappoint. It seemed to have recently been painted, we visited beginning of December, 2019. It was SO colorful and mesmerizing. Lots of music playing nearby and an all around nice area to walk and explore. Wasn’t very hard to find. Glad we took the time go see it!

Date of visit - 22/12/21 The wall is an interesting piece, slightly out of the way Wenceslas Square but still within walking distance, and on the way to the Castle. It had been slightly underwhelming compared to the descriptions online and other reviews, as the wall is smaller than expected and covered in advertisements and less, at least subjectively, visually appealing graffiti. Understandably the wall has 'history' within Prague, but the wall itself has no relationship with Lennon, he never visited it. This is purely a wall that has been assigned the role of remembering Lennon, and being an emblem of political and speech freedoms. Interesting nonetheless, but not necessarily high on the list of tourism activities and sights.

If you are a fan of John Lennon, then this is a must visit place when in Prague. The wall is lined with fan tributes, letters, writings, photos, wall art, and photos. There is a lot interesting content. One could literally spend hours looking through them all. There is even a section with writings to support Ukraine. Most of the content is in English, while some in other languages. Use Google Translate and you will be able to understand the other contents.

There's not much to shout about, though the colours are very nice. The actual wall has been written on by many tourists, so it is quite noisy, but still a sight to see if you're in the area. Otherwise, I wouldn't travel all the way just to see it.

Can’t get a good shot. Too many people. The graffiti itself is good but it changes from the last time i visited here 9 years ago.

gorgeous wall, and amazing history. easy to get to and its such an iconic place to take pictures. you can even leave your own mark, adding stickers or writing your name down, adding to the thousands of others who have come to make history.

Bright and colorful art work that I personally could look at all day and being that I'm from Liverpool, I'm glad to see John Lennon up there. Thousands of messages have been written on the wall by visitors that are good to read and a few will make you laugh. Must visit if you're in Prague, the only down side is just how busy it is but that's to be expected.

It is a peace spreading monument, with a lot of tourists. Some appreciating it and some for pictures. 🤗 There is a water mill nearby which is close and beautiful to visit nearby too.

Wonderful stop to add to your list of sights to see around Prague. Spread love and acceptance for all. And if you get a chance enter the park behind the wall to see a massive Sycamore tree and walk through the gift shop there.

It was amazing seeing the wall after reading about its history and meaning, very moving and powerful site for sure. Very near Charles Bridge but not as crowded, go there if u want to get away from the crowd for a bit and take a look at this fascinating wall

  • 2/5 Allan D. 1 year ago on Google
I appreciate why the wall is there and what it means, however, I feel it is spoiled by the meaningless and some cases vulgar graffiti on there. The wall has a meaning for Czech people, so why vandalize it with crude stuff. If you write on the wall, do it with thought, heart and decency!

Nice 60 - 70 ies experience. The spirit of the great singer is still alive there. Try with Imagin in your mind (headphones 😉) and it will be even greater.

  • 3/5 Peter W. 1 year ago on Google
Worth visiting if you are nearby but I wouldn't make a special visit. The murals and graffiti you now see has all been added in the last few years. The history of the wall is however interesting which you can of course just read in the guide book.

Great place for graffiti lovers. There were a lot of poems when I visited.

Definitely worth a visit when in Prague. There was a Ukraine poetry exhibition going on when I went, which I thought went well with the history of the wall. The art on the wall is consistently changing and developing, which some people may find amateur because of the smaller art, but I think it is a fun example of humans joining together in an artistic community. The shop behind the wall was also a lovely surprise, and the garden offers a nice photo opportunity as well

A great piece of art to stop and think about all that is happening in the world. They currently display poems in support of Ukraine in front of the wall, which underlines the cultural values of the spot itself. The poems are heavy to read but provide an excellent reminder of why a wall of peace is needed.

  • 4/5 Adam L. 1 year ago on Google
Lennon Wall is inspiring. There were a lot of notes and poems about Ukraine hung in front of the wall, so it seems that Lennon Wall continues to adapt with the times, which is a good thing. Just the message of peace adds to hope.

A beautiful work of art. There is a rule that everybody follows you can spray paint over the circular painting in the middle. I find it interesting that everybody follows it and doesn't break it. It the most important rule to follow when spray painting there.

  • 4/5 Zoe V. 5 months ago on Google
Pretty cool but overhyped, since it is often presented as a secret spot but in reality it is a real tourist hotspot with a huge line to take pictures. It has nothing to do with authentic street art or subculture. Even though it is still a beautiful spot

The Lennon Wall in Prague is a captivating and vibrant site that left me mesmerized during my visit. As a symbol of peace and artistic expression, this wall is a must-see attraction for anyone exploring the city. What struck me the most about the Lennon Wall was its ever-changing nature. Covered in colorful graffiti, inspiring quotes, and artwork, the wall is a constantly evolving canvas that showcases the creativity and passion of countless individuals. It's truly a feast for the eyes and a testament to the power of free expression. Walking along the wall, I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection to the messages of peace and love that John Lennon stood for. The atmosphere around the wall is filled with positive energy and a shared appreciation for art and freedom. It's a place where people from all walks of life come together to celebrate the ideals of unity and hope. Visiting the Lennon Wall was a truly memorable experience for me. It's a unique and significant part of Prague's cultural heritage, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking inspiration, a touch of history, and a glimpse into the power of art to transcend boundaries.

An easily accessible piece of history made by people for people. The ideas the wall represents are more powerful than the physical manifestation of the wall. It is a testament to Prague and the Czech Republic to let love and art be out for anyone to view and contribute to as they see fit.

I love John Lennon and this was a cute little wall where everyone could write on it. I loved it but it was a bit crowded even though I went early morning

Go in morning time so that you can good photos with the wall. It is just a short length wall.

  • 5/5 Ragini M. 11 months ago on Google
The art wall is destroyed by some stupid overlapping of anything. The graffiti on top was some how saved so that can be seen. Overall it is really good, but the unique and interesting graffiti needs to be searched through. I a gave it a 5 because of the effort who made it.

  • 5/5 Simone C. 11 months ago on Google
John Lennon's wall was built in order to pay respect and remember the homonym musician. This landmark is completely free and easy to access since is located along a public road. Between the most relevant graffiti, other than Lennon's one, some interesting pictures are visible. For instance one depicting the contrast between war and peace, another one shows a Stalin's caricature. Is possible to add your personal signature by writing on the wall.

Quite an interesting place, but… the whole wall is not so long. You can see one graffiti with John and a few others, but it’s nothing outstanding. We’ve expected more art (like in Berlin), and we’ve finished being rather dissapointed. In my opinion it’s not a „must see” place in Praha

  • 5/5 Nazanin G. 2 years ago on Google
It’s just a wall but demonstrates the history of human beings under the control of political changes. Luckily John Lennon the symbol of peace on this wall has made the statement of freedom in the whole world! Viva libertà ✌🏻🕊

Located in a small and secluded square across from the French Embassy, the wall had been decorated by love poems and short messages against the regime since 1960s. It received its first decoration connected to John Lennon, a symbol of freedom, western culture, and political struggle, following the 1980 assassination of John Lennon when an unknown artist painted a single image of the singer-songwriter and some lyrics.

It's very near to the Charles bridge. This wall is very famous but nothing else there to do. Just go & click few pics for your memory. And if you missed it you may regret in future when your friends will ask you 'Hey, have you been there !'. So it's better to give it a visit :)

As a beatles lover I can't be objective on these things: beautiful, clean and in theme. They even have a pen on the floor for you to sign in case you forgot your own. Loved seeing it. Only "negative", the gifts are hilariously expensive, but very nice though

Don't see the fuss about the wall... However, behind it there's a backyard out of a fairy tale with a huge old tree, suitable for photo shoots. I was there in early autumn when leaves were falling... Absolutely stunning

I'm so happy I decided to include this in my Prague tight tour. I read reviews before going and some of them are discouraging. However, if you are a fan of graffiti then this is a no-brainer. I loved the edginess and messiness of the wall. Knowing that so many artists built this over the years is so impressive. Additionally, the history behind it is so interesting indeed. So many languages written there, this wall somehow brought so many cultures together! So if you are already around Charles bridge, this would take only 5 minutes to get the wall on foot.

  • 4/5 PIYUSH S. 2 years ago on Google
A place with a lot of history involved. At a first glace it won't attract much and seem similar to just ordinary grafitty wall, but when dug deep about the history then you might find it interesting. Just to give a hint 'John Lennon never came here'

  • 4/5 Ciaran O. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful artistic wall with lots of diverse messages. While you are walking across Prague just take 5 minutes to walk past this landmark. Only downside was that there were a lot of people who were wanting to take their photo with the wall.

  • 5/5 Neek R. 2 years ago on Google
Recommend this place if you’re nearby. It’s nothing massive but worth a look! It’s close to the Charles bridge and by all the embassies!
