If you like incredibly lavish churches then this is the place for you. Looks like it cost a pretty penny. Jesus is here, which is nice. On the ground floor he's only a baby but if you climb the stairs you can see him fully grown. We went into one of the side rooms and saw a nun using a laptop. Can't say if she'll always be there though.

Very famous and beautiful church in Prague. A must visit. English services at various times. It is possible to have a mass said for a loved one or friend. (Go to the back of the church and see the priest). There is a gift shop on the left hand side before you enter the church.

Beautiful architecture and well maintained church. One of the tourist attractions in prague The Church of Our Lady of Victories, also referred as the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague, in Malá Strana, the "Lesser Quarter" of Prague, is a church governed and administered by the Discalced Carmelites.

Infant Jesus is well known for being a prominent feature of this Catholic church. The place is full of history and has multiple prayer pamphlets in multiple languages. This beautiful church does not require a ticket for entry. Additionally, the priest at the parish is very friendly. A tram station is located nearby this church.

An ordinary church 1. This is the first church we visit in Prague, nothing really stand out about the church 2. The Architecture is baroque style. 3. It hosted the famous Child Jesus statue called the Infant Jesus of Prague 4. There are more special church across Prague but if you are a devoted spiritual follower, this church worth your visit

Mum is very devout of the Baby Jesus. This was an amazing and uplifting experience for her. Super happy to have been able to take her there. The Image is currently in mourning for the situation in Ukrain but no less beautiful for it. We went upstairs and saw samples of the many robes donated and the explanation of how they change according to the religious calendar.

I went here without background about the place. Such a nice experience! I cannot explain what happened there however I can confirm after visiting the church I felt so good and had a light mind. Checked the church story later at home. I'm going to visit it again with knowledge.

The first baroque church in Prague, 1644. It holds the Infant Jesus of Prague, a wooden statue of Spanish origin from when the Habsburgs ruled the Kingdom of Bohemia and Spain. Carmelite nuns change the statue's luxurious, gemstone-laden vestments according to the liturgical season: Green - Ordinary Time Purple - Lent, Candlemas and Advent Red or gold - Christmas and Easter Royal blue - Immaculate Conception / Feast of Assumption. In Ireland, the statue is popular and is called the "Child of Prague". Irish brides hoping for good luck and good weather on their wedding day ritually place a copy of the statue outside their homes.

Very nice immaculate church with a nice museum up the front on the right hand side and upstairs with great outfits for the Baby Jesus. There is also a Souvenir shop at the front of the church. Use Team 15 to get there. Photos are allowed and entry is free. Great statue of the Baby Jesus and church in general.

I would say it’s a must-visit church in Prague. There is a museum with outfits donated to the infant Jesus from various parts of the world. Also, you can see different cribs from around the world. You don’t need to buy a ticket.

One of Pragues oldest churches. The history behind the infant Jesus made me want to visit. I felt a strong presence when visiting. We went here everyday of our trip at least twice a day. We met two priests there who were very friendly. They both gave my wife and I blessings on two different days. There is also a souvenir shop where I bought a lot of rosaries and other items. I wasn’t sure if they were blessed but I asked one of the priest I met if he can bless them. Didn’t hesitate and happily blessed everything.

Us Irish are obsessed with the weather and having a sunny day and use the Child of Prague statue to ensure a fine day, it was brilliant to be able to see the original statue, I was delighted with the chance. The church was lovely. I got all the info I needed, I left petitions and bought some souvenirs, it wasn't expensive. I was very happy with the while experience

Beautiful and welcoming church. There is a little museum at the side of the church via a spiral staircase. Ornate robes of the Infant Jesus of Prague is well displayed. Peaceful place to spend time in prayer esp at the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague. If you are visiting as a tourist, please dress appropriately as visiting a house of prayer. Info leaflet with brief history of the church and points of interest is available for a small fee that goes to the upkeep of the church. Recommended to get a copy. Prayer card to the Infant Jesus of Prague in various languages available free. A must visit when in Prague.

During this Covid-19 pandemic, it very important to be connected to GOD through Jesus Christ with the intercession of Mary, our Mother and with the help and guidance of the Infant Jesus of Prague. We can pray and attend the Thursday Novena Mass and the Sunday Mass, as well. The Church was ready to accept devotees and observers. , As soon as you reached the entrance, there is a disinfectant spray which has a motion sensor to automatically spray alcohol on your hands. No need to touch the bottle, which is more safer. People entering are also wearing face masks and observing social distancing inside. It feels good to be able to visit the Church and Infant Jesus of Prague again after the State of Emergency have been lifted. To GOD be all the glory! 😷👍

My trip was planned for 2 years and my spiritual experience was more than I hoped for. We were able to attend the English mass at noon on Sunday. On another visit a priest came out to welcome&talk to pilgrims. He invited several of us to the sacristy & allowed pictures of us holding an infant replica. He also gave us a special blessing, including our personal intentions, & blessed the holy articles we purchased.

The famous waxed statuette of the Infant Child is kept in this church and is routinely clothed by the Carmelite nuns in precious fabrics bearing the regalia of the Czech Royalties. The church is luxuriously ornated with gilded statues, twisted columns and glistening bronze ornaments in the Baroque style. Worth visiting, the Infant itself is one of the most famous symbols of Prague and an item surrounded by mistery and legends.

An ornate church with an intensely decorated statue. The church is decorated in flamboyant Baroque style, with gold everywhere. The statue of the Child of Prague is dressed in embroidered robes. Worshippers from different parts of the world pay reverence in the church and it is a focus for both believers and tourists. Strangely, this statue seems to have a lot more significance in other cultures (e.g. Ireland or the Philippines) than in the Czech Republic itself.

Peaceful and full of energy. One of my favorite places to come down and connect my self with the universe. You have masses in English every Sunday at 12pm, and in Spanish an Italian also. Just check their website for the exactly day and time. For those visiting the city, there is a lovely shop beside the church where you can find beautiful gifts and souvenirs. You can also have a quick coffee outside the church. The Jesus Infant of Prague altar is breathtaking.

Easy to find inbetween the western end of the Charles bridge and the "baby Jesus" church.
