One of my favorite things we did in Prague. If you are interested in anthropology you should go. After you walk into the building past the entry steps inside take the right hallway all the way down the the end and it will be the door on your left. Press the call button and someone will answer. The woman was super nice and spoke English, you just have to ask. It cost maybe 50czk, so take coins with you to pay. The collection was unbelievable and so interesting. The descriptions are mostly in Czech so bring a translate pocket dictionary if you want. We were the only ones there at the time so it was pretty intimate and we got to take our time.

To find it, just go inside (ring the bell if the door is closed), turn right into the corridor, walk to the end, turn left and ring the bell :) It is such a wonderful place here! And if you're lucky enough, you have a wonderful guide as well :)

The museum was a captivating experience that seamlessly blended history, art, and culture. The exhibits were thoughtfully curated, offering a rich and diverse collection that catered to all interests. The interactive displays and informative signage enhanced the learning journey. The museum staff were knowledgeable and passionate, adding depth to the visit. A must-see for anyone seeking intellectual stimulation and an appreciation for human creativity.

(Translated by Google) Prof. Hrdlička, through anatomical studies in the USA, proved the equivalence of all somatic forms of modern man and thus rejected racist pseudo-theories as early as the beginning of the 20th century. I recommend a visit to all Nazis and white lunatics. (Original) Prof. Hrdlička anatomickými studiemi v USA dokázal rovnocennost všech somatických forem současného člověka a tím zamítl rasistické pseudoteorie již v počatku 20. st. Doporučuji návštěvu všem náckům a bílým pomatencům.

Nobody answer the door, nobody answer the call, you need to book in advance to see it, maybe try a month before visiting, maybe you'll get an answer.

A truly amazing collection!! Suzana gave us a special tour on a Saturday, as we were only in town for a couple days. She was fantastic and shared stories about the director/collector, who had his body prepared to join his exhibit after his death. The selection of trauma and trepidation specimens was amazing!! This is a must for the traveler looking for unusual stuff away from the crowds!

(Translated by Google) I was there with the class, and since I don't really enjoy things in biology that don't move, I can't give the full number of stars. The first regiment is not much, but when you bite it, it starts to be really interesting, various diseases, surgeries, mutations and even mummies! Just when I really started to enjoy it, we had to go back to school :( (( (Original) Byla jsem tam se tridou a jelikoz mě veci z biologie co se nehýbou moc nebaví, tak nemůžu dat plnej pocet hvězdiček. První pulka nic moc, ale kdyz se prokousate dal, začne to bejt fakt zajímavý, různý nemoce, chirurgicky zakroky, mutace a i mumie! Zrovna kdy už me to fakt začalo bavit museli jsme zpatky do skoly :(((

(Translated by Google) Amazing atmosphere and the opportunity to see things that are hard to find elsewhere in such a quantity. Just approaching and finding exactly where the museum in the building is is a bit worse .. but in the end it's worth it! (Original) Úžasná atmosféra a možnost vidět věci, které jinde v takovém množství jen těžko najdete. Jen přístup a nalezení kde přesně muzeum v budově je, je trochu horší.. ale nakonec to stojí za to!

Amazing museum if you are interested in these type of things. Everything is in czech though and you have to book in advance (we wrote an e-meil). We didn’t have a guide and you have to pay with cash 40czk per person.

(Translated by Google) Very cool museum! Located at the local university. Only two rooms, sort of a bit, but very interesting! Admission seems to be free, they didn’t take money from me. Employees answer all questions, offer a guided tour themselves. From the photographs it’s approximately clear what’s there. It’s not worth it to go very impressionable - real skulls, skeletons, including children’s.

(Translated by Google) Admission through the university, free. A display of skulls and the like, there's a nice botanical garden behind the university, a nice view to see, there was a student there who explained the performances. You have to ring the bell to open it (Original)

Working hours are unclear, on google it says it's open on monday, on their site it's supposedly only open during school year from wednesday to friday. Sadly we came to Prague on 29.08 and are leaving on 05.09 so no viewing the exhibition for us, which is sad, because I really wanted to see it. All in all I don't really understand how is this museum supposed to be profitable when they are closed during the summer when most tourists come to visit this city.

👍👍 By far my favorite crystals shop in Prague! Great selection of natural stones and everthing else mineral-related. Particularly good for Czech provenience specimen such as Moldavites, garnets and even fossils. My particular favorite is the one of a kind jewellery section.

👍👍 One of the best natural history museums in the Republic.
