(Translated by Google) Behind the Powder Bridge, inside Prague Castle, there is one from the most beautiful palaces of the era Rebirth. The palace is named after the powerful, then Schwarzenberg family ... After that, the Technical Museum was "lodged" here, then the Museum military history, and now it is a branch of the National Gallery. On several floors here there is a permanent exhibition best works of the era Renaissance and Czech Baroque ... And the inscription on the roof, above the Sundial, in Latin “Time is running” - is symbolic, relevant now ...

Inside of the very heart of Prague old Town, this historical palace host an amazing collection of some of masterpieces of the renaissance and baroque age, from Italy, Bohemia, Germany and Flanders. Well furnished also for services and accessibility. Absolutely recommended

A true must see in Prague. Cheap admissions (especially for students under 26 that can enter for free). The exhibition is huge and has 4 floors. In it is displayed statues and sculptures and lots and lots of beautiful baroque paintings and the top floor contains a very impressive armory that is 50 times more impressive than any other exhibition that has weapons and similar things.

The building is made of a very interesting stone that is eye-catching. I'm not really a fan of galleries, but it's worth a look at such a unique building.

This art gallery dates from 1796 and it is located close to the Prague Castle. It is one of the oldest art galleries and one of the largest museums in Central Europe.

Exquisite palace. All art lovers should visit not only because of its Old Masters permanent exhibition but also to behold its architecture and wall paintings in inner rooms.

(Translated by Google) 2 floors of exhibition start from the second dedicated to the Renaissance, and descend to the first, baroque and rococo. Very beautiful pieces of European authors on the 3rd floor from the Italians to the Germans and Flemings. The 2nd floor gives more space to the local artists who are still inserted in the context of the empire and therefore they deal with the rest of Europe with wide scope. Real gems hidden from those who go to the Castle only (Original) 2 piani di esposizione si parte dal secondo dedicato al rinascimento, e si scende al primo, barocco e rococò.

They have some really fine works of art, but the place could have been organised much better. The information on individual pieces is hardly available. The staff tries to help, but almost nobody speaks any English.

Schwarzenberg Palace. Early Renaissance, 1567. The stone blocks look three-dimensional but are actually completely flat stucco, decorated with sgraffito, a technique of applying layers of plaster tinted in contrasting colours and then scratching so as to reveal parts of the underlying layer.

Impressive art gallery with lots of exhibits. It doesn't get much attention because of castle neighbouring castle. So there isn't much tourists inside. You can enter for free if you're under 26 y/o

A good option once you end your visit to the castle. The Palace architecture is beautiful. The permanent collection is not to big, but has some solid art pieces.

(Translated by Google) After a long time of perfect installation of the exhibition. If you read somewhere in the press that it is unsuccessful, do not believe. On the one hand the very carefully restored premises of the palace and then the color-crafted exhibition panels form a whole that will very well tear the atmosphere of the Renaissance and Baroque. Famous. Definitely worth a visit, not one. Jednak velmi citlivě zrestaurované prostory paláce a pak barevně zpracované výstavní panely tvoří celek, který velmi dobře potrhne atmosféru renesance a baroka.

(Translated by Google) Five points for art. Not a connoisseur, but worth a visit. The gallery is not large, it will take about 2 hours. Ticket price 10 €. How people used to bother without instagrams is always interesting to see.

Excellent art museum! A very well curated collection and well worth a visit! When we went, it was very quiet too as most tourists go to the Prague Castle but don't notice the art museum right across the street.

Just been there. I did not get in because: 1. They have not labelled the disifectant station well so it is like a water station. I drank disinfectant!!! Luckily no reactions so far..but if I do- they are looking at a huge complaint!H&S people... 2. Extremely rude staff who speak no English. Who I asked where the shop is as i need water (mind u she saw me at the station and did not warn me). And then rudely : Ticket..no ticket- go buy ticket`. Appaling. For these two reasons only- I am not going to buy a tickey and give them my money!

Great selection of great art in a historic building. This is one of 4 National Gallery museums included in a discounted 10-day pass, and I recommend that you visit them all! We did note that the guards and ticket sellers were extraordinarily dour, which possibly comes from dealing with tourists all day. Just saying. It didn't really detract from the experience, except maybe a little...

(Translated by Google) Very interesting and thematically divided exhibition space for the "Old Masters" of the Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo. I recommend it only for the Rosary Festival. Captions to images are usually on the back of the panels and sometimes even on a different image than where the image is located. (Translated by Google) The beautiful Schwarzenberg Palace houses one of the exhibitions of the National Gallery - Baroque and Renaissance art. On three floors are placed works of old masters and one wonders what gems human hands can create, especially in such an ancient time 15-17 centuries. The basic entrance fee is 220 CZK, the halls are wheelchair accessible including toilets, which are located at the lift. On the ground floor is a dressing room and the possibility of buying various publications. I think that for today's decent admission the visitor will get a beautiful experience.
