This should be a true kavarna, for the people, affordable and sympathetic, but it tries to be a classy restaurant. So now its something in between and that doesn’t work, it’s almost always empty. It has potential, but it should be managed better: attract students, make it more sympathetic

Not friendly. Waiter avoided serving us and keep us waiting at every turn. I've been here before ( maybe a year ago ) and it was fine. They were busy when I first sat down but were quiet when I needed my check and after asking for the bill and being ignored for 10 minutes we finally chased the waiter down and paid. Never again

Fantastic traditional café culture in the heart of Prague, slightly off the beaten tourist trail which is welcome.

Beautiful building, food was nice, service was very slow and quite rude. She seemed annoyed to serve us even though we had no questions/no amendments to our meals/ requirements etc.

We went here twice over two days (trying to avoid some crowds for some quiet), once for coffee and then once for beers. Both times the place was pretty much empty, despite being the only people there, the staff were so unwelcoming. At one point, after they dumped our beers on the table both members of staff left us by ourselves in the restaurant and went out onto the balcony. There was no smiles or thank you’s- would never return.

Very lovely place, with an open terrace. Servis is quiet fast, and food was delicious. They have lunch menu, with affordable prices.

The place looks incredible and the dishes look good, but both waiters were so, so, so, incredibly rude that we left within 5 minutes of arriving. We were astonished by this level of confident, open disrespect. What a shame.

Have been here 5 times or more . Location is great, view is great, food is really good and so are the prices but service, especially at the end of the day is dreadful. Don't go there after 9.30/10pm or they will rudely tell you to hurry up/order/drink up and go home .

This place is so beautiful, but sooo rude. I arrived first, then another woman, then a man. Unsurprisingly, the man was waited on first. Menu, coffee, and meal all before I even received a menu. Then the local woman’s turn; lastly mine. A shame they’ve ruined such a beautiful place with sexism, xenophobia, ageism. A star simply because my lemonade was actually delicious and the garden terrace is lovely.

Great outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor with views of busy streets. We went there on a rainy day but the staff covered the rooftop terrace so we stayed dry. Good selection of cakes and drinks. Tasty and nicely presented cappuccinos.

Excellent breakfast with good selection of meals & drinks. Service could be a little bit quicker but was still pleasant, considering there was only one waiter at that time. Also nice view to Jungmann’s square below.

The first café I visited when I arrived in Prague, and probably the best. A very pleasant atmosphere, great for those who enjoy writing leisurely or savoring a good coffee. Generously served, and it has an incredible view

On 4th November 2023 afternoon we went in to ask if their terrace was working, since it was a rainy day, neither of the two guys working there greeted us back, instead the bartender was waving negatively his arms above his head and the waiter his finger. Both of them were looking at us with condescending faces and attitude. We don't expect fake smiles and behavior but it was two of the most rude serving persons we encountered Prague! Definitely not recommended!!!

This is always a great place to visit. The coffee is great, the service even greater and the ambiance is timeless. This is a place that has retained the old ambiance that some other places like the Orient, Slavia an Louvre used to have but which have gone too touristy. This place is sheer heaven and always a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of town.

The restaurant was specious and I was able to sit comfortably on the sofa!! We had a good time with the stylish interior and good wifi. We had a cappuccino and an espresso. Therefore, we have not been able to fairly evaluate the foods.

Nice and classy café restaurant with hotová jídla in the afternoon. Friendly people and good Czech food. Has a nice view from the terrace on Národní street.

Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, especially if you're into architecture. Not expensive and has good portions.

We stopped by for a breakfast. There’s a variety of tasty foods on the menu. Coffee is good, but don’t expect specialty coffee shop experience. You can sit on a terrace elevated from the street and with a nice view. The service was great. This place is a bit hidden, not so touristy, perfect if you want to stay away from tourist crowds.

We ordered four different courses, all ouf them were super tasty! Clean place with kind waiters. Not crowded at dinner at 20.00

Pleasant café in Central European style. Popular for lunch at a reasonable price. Terrace is great during the sunny days.

Nice view, good price considering the location. Lunch menu is not that good quality (they don't make their own buns for burgers meat is not that good)

Awesome terrace and place in literally the epicenter of Prague (y); for chill outs, meetings, cultural events. They also offer great dishes, and serve them fast :-)

Lunch menu option.. Burrito was very good and also big portion. It was worth it 189 czk. And its nice atmosphere seating at balcony in the summer. So i can recommend definitely eating here!

Lovely place! Order “Pohar Adria” its their signature ice-cream which is not listed in menu.

It's fine, fairly limited choice of dishes for breakfast/brunch. A good think is the possibility of having a Caffè latte prepared using decaffeinated coffee (good for late afternoon/evening). Sometimes the waiters should smile more, because when they don't it feels you are in the Prague public transport metro/tram/bus. Also, the place isn't heated much in the fall season (ladies, be prepared to put your coat back on).

Lovely old cafe serving good coffee, tea, and satisfying breakfast dishes. A little on the salty side but that's how food is done here.
