Initially we felt welcomed as we were led to a table and quickly given English language menus. Both our beers and our food also arrived without undue delay. The quality of the food and drink was, just, ok. However, we were never told any information about the beers even though we took both tasting trays. Near closing time the waiter started clearing our table of items that were there before we sat down. When the bill was presented we were, in an unpleasant manner, informed that a 10% "service fee" was not included but could be added to the credit card payment. We opted to round up to the nearest hundred CZK and left. Never going back.

I've been coming here for almost twenty years, I'm so glad to notice the portions are back to what they were once (I've noticed a brutal downward trend the last time I came, eight years ago). Giving this place another shot was a good choice. Beer is as good as I remembered, the beer goulash is a must, recommend also the "Spicy knuckle of pork on the bone roasted in dark beer with mustard and horseradish" for big eaters. It seems that after some dark years, this place got back to its feet, I'll come back!

Amazing food, great beer, great service! Highly recommended! The beer is house made and is amazing. I took potato soup, beef steak with mushrooms and potatoes, and tiramisu as desert and it just melted in my mouth! Definitely will go back! Highly recommended!

Good taste of beer but Koleno was not good because it smells a bit. I was also dissatisfied with the amount of dipping sauce for the menu I ordered, chicken wings and Koleno, that's why I cannot give more stars on this restaurent.

Nice place, beer was good but I expected a little bit more. Food was good and not so expensive, service could be more nicer.

Very nice place to try some topical czech beer and food. Fair prices! Recommendation: Pivovice (Beer liquor), Garlic Soup and the plate for 2 (Czech cusine in a Pan)

We had a nice dinner here on Christmas. We made reservations but it didn't seem necessary, there were lots of open tables. I am surprised by all the negative comments about their food, everyone in our group loved everything we ate! I shared a large platter with my husband, the meat was super flavorful and tender (everything was good but the duck leg was my favorite). The potato pancakes served with it were incredible and the cabbage is a must. If you had to twist my arm to make a constructive criticism, they served it with about 9 bread dumplings and very little sauce with which to saturate the dumplings. Service was slow and not overly friendly, but I think average for the region. A great meal at a great price, we would go back in a heartbeat.

The place is magical and the waiters are really accommodating. Lots of choice for the typical food. We tried the "svíčková na smetaně" and it was SO FREAKING GOOD.

This place is "a maz'ing" , it's leterally a maze with plenty of rooms here and there and the food is really good! It's an ideal restaurant for groups, as they have plenty of small to medium size zone where you can fit 12/15 people. The food is really nice and wow... Portion are also nice! Would recommend it for sure !

Took the beer tasting set. Light beer was okay, dark tasted like traditional Finnish/Russian table beer, Mix beer (name of their beer) tasted exactly like mix of the two first ones. So the only good beer there in my opinion was the sparking beer as they had captured the bubbles of sparkling wine and flavour of a beer. As I had found the place in Google and made my family walk cross the city there, I felt I had to buy something home and make it look like it was all worth it. When buying beer home the waiter took my card, dialed 140czk (5.50€) over price in the machine and swiped my card with the wireless payment. Gave the receipt plus card and instantly dissapeared. After waiting a moment and stopping the waiter comforting the overpricing the waiter just explained maybe thinking an more expensive beer... Got more of the beer exactly worth of the 140czk, but still not happy as its not that good... Completely lost my trust in this place.
