They are scamming travelers who choosing of buying. Fresh fruits BE AWARE.! From 9-12 το 26€ You can buy fruits with 3€ from supermarkets near by. They way they do it is like they put fake prices in the sign and then they fake weight the cup of fruits and they using grams as the price of the actual Czech money

Great farmers market right by the river. Beautiful location and lots of produce available. Would recommend to those visiting Prague, even for a short time. Affordable prices and a range of products - including cooked food or fruit and veg. Stall holders are also very friendly. A very pleasant spot!

Cool place. There are a lot of souvenirs like traditional cuisines and drinks or handmade toys. The market is located in a very popular touristic area so hard to miss it when you are walking around. Nice opportunity to buy something which will remind you about the trip to Prague. Or just to have a glass of mulled wine and enjoy the atmosphere.

I have never seen an overrated market with so many positive reviews. A good example of clueless tourists visiting some market stalls on a street near the old town and falling all over each other in wonderment and praise for its charm. This is a very small market selling cheap souvenir items that are also for sale at every third store between the old town and the Charles Bridge. The fruits are was overpriced. Notice it is priced in 100 grams. A basket of berries will cost you 20 Euros. Who cares if this street sold fruits and vegetables in 1372? I visited Prague in the 1980's before the capitalists took over. I can't begrudge the people of Prague making money off tourists. Every business a tourist encounters in the old town did not exist before 1990. But do not label what you see now as authentic.

We strolled through the market where to be honest nothing really special was sold. You can buy a lot of souvenirs and food. We got ourselves something like a hot dog and a potato pancake stuffed with cheese and lemondes which tasted really great. Also a cool place to sit down and watch the people and the happening across this square.

Great little market that is close to old town and some great restaurants too. All sorts of local style souvenirs as well as fruit and other foods. Well worth a look, the prices are about the same as elsewhere plus there are a few tourist shops here too.

Open street/farmers market, with many nice souvenirs stalls selling knickknacks like wooden toys, magnets, bookmarks, mugs, cups, jewelry (got myself some nice stone bracelets), and one stall sells prepackaged spice mixes. You’ll also find honey, and other jarred specials foods. Grab yourself some fresh fruits to eat and a nice coffee from the cafe there! And enjoy your morning

Souvenirs and food are expensive (compare with other local stores), but the atmosphere is great in the morning. Not too crowded around 8-9 am

Street market where you can buy souvenirs, fruit, vegetables, domestic products, chocolate etc... Prices are little higher than on other markets but this one is located in center of the Prague. You can also eat some burgers or sausages and take some coffee or mulled wine.

It is kind of a souvenir place for tourists and the price tag is for tourists too. You can pay by card here but it might have a minimum. You can find cheaper just walking around the corner, like I can get a Krteček doll a lot cheaper at Hračky U krtečka in just a few minutes walk away.

BE CAREFUL about the fruit here ! It looks nice but it cost me $17 for one small mix fruit box. TBH don’t worth it. The market have the cheapest Magnant here. Recommended.

Its a nice little market with around 10-15 stands with mostly fruit and souvenir items. I was especially looking for Optalky and I found dofferent flavors of it here. It's located close to old town attractions that you can visit within few minutes walking.

Farmers market! They close around 6 pm. Fresh fruits and they have water station to wash the fruit you buy to eat on site. In my 5day Praha trip, I went to this market 3 times and got fresh fruits as snack each visit. Also there are shops along the market.

Lovely market for buying some souvenirs which are a bit cheaper than anywhere else. Be careful with the super appetising fruit on the market, the price is per 100g not the whole box. We had to pay way more, than expected.

The pruims looked fantastic. The taste was not there and the rotten fruit hidden under the fresh ones. If I payed too much. Hard to say

Lovely little market, mostly fruit and veg stalls. Had these cute little mixed fruit boxes which were great for a refreshing snack. Also had souvenir stalls, things like Czech chocolate, biscuits, fridge magnets etc. Worth a look.

The best place for a large variation of fresh vegetables, berries and fruits around! Has a lot of different kinds of souvenirs ranging from leather and crystals to key chains, pocket watches and fridge magnets. Souvenir prices are quite common as in other souvenir shops at the area. Overall a nice place to drop by when nearby of when visiting the Astronomical Clock, for instance!

If you're in Prague and want to buy the authentic good quality souvenir without paying absurd amount of money this is the place. You also get fresh fruits and vegetables here! There are small cafes nearby too. This street is really pretty during the Christmas time as it decorated with lights which is the highlight!

Half way between a tourist trap and a nice market. They do have some shops with souvenirs and 'typical' Czech things. But if you go a bit further down the market there is a nice bakery tent in which they serve a typical sweet or savoury pastry, delicious. They also have some nice fruit spots if you want to stop for a healthy treat.

Nice place to buy some touristic stuff. The prices are good and there are good coffee shops nearby

  • 5/5 Gianluca 5 months ago on Google
A nice little market. I think it's the best place to buy souvenirs, wide choice at modest prices. Some stalls also have 3x2 offers but be careful to read the conditions carefully, normally the offer does not apply if you pay by card.

Try the strudel stall#27..warm red wine went well. Went back each afternoon for different flavours. Fruit stalls were great and thexsmell of strawberry and raspberries were great

Small outdoor market collection of <10 stalls selling a variety of products from souvenirs to fresh produce to food. Prices aren’t the best and the sellers only take credit cards for large purchases.

  • 5/5 Dee Dee F. 6 months ago on Google
What a wonderful open market full of fresh goods and multiple vendors. I loved the multiple Gladiolus that were everywhere. Prague is a beautiful place to be.

  • 4/5 Yelim H. 6 months ago on Google
The market itself was a bit smaller than I thought. Since some of the sellers didn’t take the card at all or usually had minimum amount around 300Kc (which isn’t that cheap considering the place is traditional local market?), it was hard to find a place to buy a thing since I was looking for one or two magnets. Actually ended up paying everything together with my friend to make the total over the minimum amount they require. So if you are planning to buy just few things, but without cash, it would be good place to look around for fun but that’s it. Actually other indoor shops located along the market have same selection of items, but their price was all more expensive. So if you are buying a lot, like more than the minimum, please shop outside.

What a lovely market this was. Not exceptionally big but I could get what I needed here in regards to gifts to take home such as magnets, cups, tankards, wooden children's gifts and more. There were stalls selling fruit and chocolate, fruit looked very good quality, abit on the expensive side. Very friendly market, loved browsing around it. Well worth a visit.

A good bazaar. Not really cheap, but you can find a lot of things and it's always fun to stroll once to see what people sell. Got my magnets from here - quite a good choice.

The tower is really interesting, the view is simply fantastic. I wiuld give 4,5 stars if it is possible, because the card reader did not work, we had to buy the ticket online, the web address has been shared on a post it. The tickets are abit expensive, but once you are in Prague you can not skip the Tower.

This is a good touristy market to buy souvenirs at. Lots of little stalls selling snacks, souvenirs, keychains, chocolate, etc at reasonable prices. It's not so big that you have to spend a lot of time there. A great place to quickly pickup gifts before exploring more of the city.

  • 4/5 Russell H. 1 year ago on Google
Mostly commercial tourist souvenirs, very few handmade. One nice leather booth. High concentration of market stalls and surrounding stores so you can get most everything here.
