Magic
Mirrors
The
Bad
Little
nitpick
here.
I
am
a
seasoned
goer
to
Escape
Rooms,
and
some
experiences
taught
me
to
ask,
if
anything
in
the
room
is
for
one
use
only
-
any
paper
we
must
tear,
any
balloons
to
pop,
or
string
to
cut.
So
I
usually
ask
those
things.
In
this
case,
I
got
an
almost
inappropriate
no-no
face
from
the
overseeing
lady,
and
she
seemed
like
she
was
contemplating
even
letting
us
into
the
room
for
such
a
comment.
I
mean,
I
asked
and
got
socially
dissuaded
from
asking
anything
else
again.
Maybe
teach
your
staff
to
act
appropriately?
However
this
is
not
such
a
serious
issue,
I
would
not
even
lover
the
rating
for
it.
Another
small
problem
here
is
the
idea
behind
the
room.
While
magnetic
locks
and
some
behind-the-scenes
magic
worked
well
for
sci-fi
settings
like
space
pioneers
or,
steampunk
settings
like
the
Nautilus
room,
the
suspension
of
disbelief
was
too
hard
to
wave
out.
That
is
why
I
would
recommend
doing
first
any
other
room
from
this
company
than
this
one.
The
Good
The
actual
atmosphere
in
the
magic
mirror
room
is
great
and
you
could
see
the
production
value
in
the
illusions
they
do
and
in
the
props.
The
actual
mechanics
of
many
logical
puzzles
were
also
clever.
I
would
say
there
are
one
or
two
very
intricate
puzzles
and
then
a
few
standard
ones
the
whole
room
is
doable
with
some
help
in
20-40
minutes.
Instead
of
a
classic
walkie-talkie,
players
can
use
a
magic
book
and
the
hints
will
show
on
the
mirror
-display.
The
Ugly
It's
interesting
to
think,
how
much
thought
goes
into
creating
a
custom
room
that
feels
like
a
wizard's
workshop,
with
Wicca
and
Holywood-style
props
and
logic.
In
the
case
of
the
mirror,
you
cannot
see
any
screen
or
beamer,
it's
a
really
good
illusion.
And
then
the
designers
ruin
this
with
a
C-grade
acting
and
script
on
the
actual
mirror
screen.
Shame.
There
also
was
a
plot
twist,
but...
it
felt
flat
and
could
be
f.e.
better
used
to
build
up
tension
for
a
sequel
room.
Its
a
quality
time,
but
I
recommend
the
upper
mentioned
rooms
to
be
conquered
first.
