Unfortunately the monastery suffered a lot of damage during the war, with sections having been almost completely rebuilt. A lot of the frescos are in very poor condition - but a fair bit of effort has been put into the informational signs (in both Czech and English) to make it easier to see what they would have shown and which parts are still visible. The monastery is quite small, so don't expect to spend a huge amount of time unless you're particularly interested in the religious significance of the damaged paintings. The information about the past appearance of the monastery and it's rebuilding was interesting. There was also a small temporary art exhibition in a side room which was quite good and probably the best part of the visit. Sadly what put a dampener on the place was the man working the front desk. He was really quite rude on arrival, and as we were leaving later he was playing a video on his phone quite loudly in the lobby!

This was the best 60ckr I spent in Prague. Just the cloister was a magnificent place covered in paintings made hundreds of years ago. And then the various chapels and the repaired and renovated church were equally breathtaking. This place is so quiet too, slightly away from the main tourist centres. Well worth a visit if, like me, you're impressed by ecclesiastical architecture. 🇨🇿😀⛪

Really enjoyed this place. It's small and peaceful. Was a nice spot to take in the view of Prague. The descriptions are in English as well so easy to understand the history.

Really ancient (medieval). Unfortunately not all the frescoes are intact. Especially nice when there are concerts taking place in the refectory.

Beautiful place, would recommend to visit if you are in the area. There is also a small café where you can buy a coffee and enjoy the view.

Progressive roof type. Apart from that, a classic church.

One of the most historic places to visit in Prague, especially for Christians and Catholics experiencing Latin Mass in this Benedictine abbey Emperors Chapel. Highly recommended.

Nice and sensitive maintained historical place. Bit hidden but keep genius loci of Praha. Check the wall paintings.
