(Translated by Google) After leaving the Charles Bridge we will see the Church of St. Salvador. It is a three-nave Jesuit church that is one of the most valuable monuments of the early Baroque in Prague. The interior of the church also houses an early Baroque denominational booth decorated with statues of JJ Bendel's apostles, the painting of JJ Haring is located at the main altar, and in the crypt under the church there are graves of important representatives of the Jesuit order. Another important object on the royal route worth the time. (Original) Po wyjściu z Mostu Karola na wprost zobaczymy Kościół św. Salvadora.

Almost missed the entrance with so many tourists blocking it, entrance is right opposite the Charles Bridge. Beautiful interior and peaceful (especially after battling with thousands of tourists outside). High recommend! Free entry.

(Translated by Google) The most beautiful church erect in 1578, still Carlo Lurago. The successors of his work, completed the construction in 1714. The largest temple of architectural and historical Clementinum complex, "guard" 13 sculptures of saints, evangelists of Jesus and the Virgin, both outside and inside. The entrance to the church is located from Charles Bridge. IN active church, pass Mass on Tuesdays and Sundays. Organ concerts are also available. Nice little church where classical music concerts are held, played live with a soprano, an orchestra and an organ -- playing classical, noteworthy / popular parts from known songs, such as Four Seasons or Symphony no. 5. It's worth going to one. There is no need to buy the front row tickets, as the acoustics are great. Get dressed appropriately for 1h in the cold church (at least in the cold season). Worth visiting.

Is better if you buy the tickets at the church outside there's a ticket booth and you can pay with a card too. The photos are before the concert.

The Jesuits built St. Salvator Church in the Gothic style between 1578-1601, although important Baroque features were added between 1649-1654. Famous architects Lurago, Caratti and Kanka were all involved in its construction. Today, the church is considered one of the most valuable examples of early-Baroque architecture in Prague. It has a beautiful Baroque facia, with porticos decorated with sand-stone sculptures of saints by Jan Jirí Bendl. A niche in the wall houses a sculpture of the Virgin Mary.

the building: a classic baroque church in the Prague center, situated right across the Charles' bridge There are generally two mass times on Sunday - starting at 14 and then later in the evening at 20 p.m. The parish consists of mostly students and like-minded people who either live in the city centre or are willing to travel for the almost always stellar sermon of Monsignor Halík, or his also great colleagues. This results in the most meaningful and encouraging gathering and Sunday evening well-spent - the Almighty Lord be praised for that ;-)

Beautiful Baroque style church at the foot of the Charles Bridge. Lots of statues decorating the outside of the building. You can buy tickets here for concerts, and religious services are still carried out here. The church looks stunning lit up at night and is worth a look.

(Translated by Google) Most tourists focus here only on the Charles Bridge, and this is a mistake - it is also worth a moment to admire other objects in the area. The whole square in front of the church is really impressive, surrounded by all these beautiful buildings.

St. Salvator Church is a beautiful church. I can highly recommend buying tickets for a 60-minute concert with the Royal Czech Orchestra. It was worth every penny. I would have gladly spent extra bucks to sit closer to the orchestra, as it would have provided an even more intense and immersive experience. The church itself boasts stunning architecture and intricate details, making it a sight to behold. Attending a concert within its sacred walls elevates the experience, creating a magical atmosphere that resonates with the soul. The Royal Czech Orchestra’s performance adds a touch of grandeur to the venue, making it a memorable and enchanting experience for all music enthusiasts and visitors alike.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful church at the entrance to the old town. After the arrival of the Jesuits in 1554, the location was chosen to build the religious church. The Salvator Church was built in two phases, first in the Renaissance style. The early baroque main facade was then built around 1659, the statues date from the same period. Prague's old town is definitely worth seeing, but it's all overcrowded. I am aware that our visit to Prague also contributed to this.

The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, performed at the Church of Saint Salvador in Prague, was a truly enchanting experience. The historic venue provided an intimate atmosphere, as the musicians masterfully conveyed Vivaldi's timeless masterpiece. Each season came to life, transporting the audience through a melodic journey. Bravo to the performers for a memorable and uplifting concert!

That God's temple, as each other of countless churches on the World anyway, gives you beautiful experience to be just only with yourself alone. So deep experience. Worth to try. Jump out from so much busy place, than Karel street, and visit i.e. that church of st. Salvator. Sit down there for a while and you'll find yourself there in the 'Divine silence'. Do nothing, just be quite and feel the atmosphere. Every Christian knows it is so needful to meet the God. Try it, at least you are on the best way to find yourself. ... and maybe you'll suddenly find yourself to kneel. That's the best way to find the real God.

(Translated by Google) Particularly striking is the richly designed facade, which, coming from the Charles Bridge, can be seen first. The sandstone figures of the saints designed by Johann Georg Bendl are very beautiful. If you take a closer look, you will discover, for example, St. Ambrose with the beehive. Have fun looking at it. The facade can also be seen particularly well from the old town tower opposite the Charles Bridge.

(Translated by Google) The Church of the Savior (Czech: Kostel Nejsvětějšího Salvátora) is located on the Charles Bridge and Old Town Bridge Tower in the center of Prague. It was once part of the Jesuit complex and was founded in 1578. After the Jesuits were dissolved, they belonged to Charles University. Student sermons were restored in 1990, and in 2004 became the first university church in the Czech Republic. (Translated by Google) The church at Charles Bridge is currently the center of the academic parish. The baroque space of the temple undergoes changes either on the occasion of some artistic intervention or in connection with the current phase of the liturgical year. If you have the opportunity to do so, visit the large sacristy, the cripple, and the walkway above the nave. (Original) Kostel u Karlova mostu je v současnosti centrem akademické farnosti. We were here for a classical music concert, during the day there are people outside the church who advertise it and a stall where you can buy tickets (also available online). The church is beautiful but compared to the other ones that can be visited in Prague it is obviously not the best. Despite the heating, it's very cold so if you come here for the concert be sure to cover yourself well during the cold seasons.
