Pavla was an absolutely outstanding guide on this intimate exploration of Czechia’s fairytale jewel: Prague. There were only three of us on this tour, which was fantastic, as it really helped to foster a more in depth understanding of the city. Pavla took us to so many of the most famous destinations in Prague, such as the astronomical clock tower’s charming hourly show, but also its quieter treasures. My particular favourite being a walk through Prague’s historic monastery! She was able to explain so much of this beautiful city’s history, with candour, verve, and skill, and it was fascinating learning more about Prague, and more broadly Czechia’s, complex past. The tour included a delicious meal at a traditional restaurant which definitely elevated my experience. Czech food is hearty so come hungry! I would highly recommend this tour when in Prague. It is such a special city and Pavla was the perfect guide 🇨🇿

The food tour was awesome!!! I personally highly recommend this, Nikola Was an outstanding guide! There was no rush from place to place, Nikola kept the pace casual and relaxing. She not only took us around to some awesome local food venues, but took her time and showed us around the town, and told us about the highlights and history that made the evening even more grand. As we walked through Prague to the five different establishments, she would point out historical landmarks along with what the history events included. She did a great job of mixing up the meals with the desserts all while finishing it off with a shot of Becherovka (Czech Republic, herbal liquor) at a beautiful location on the river over looking the Castle lit up by artificial light and the night sky where we celebrated a successful evening and enchanting new friendship. I personally highly recommend this tour.

We have taken several virtual tours through Amazon Explore with Prague City Adventures and have enjoyed every single one. We went on the Secret Gardens tour and Prague's Jewish Quarter tour with Johanka. We went on the Old Town Prague tour with Mark. Tonight, we went on the Haunted Streets tour with Misha. All of the tour guides have been engaging as well as knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. As a history enthusiast, I have really appreciated their willingness to answer lots of questions and recommend books that I could use to find out more. If you would like more detailed reviews about the individual tours and to see some of the pictures we took, please check out the reviews I posted on Amazon Explore.

Took the Prague Discovery Tour with Sasha - what a great way to spend the day learning about Prague's history, and seeing the sights! He took us down side streets and really adjusted the tour to our interests. He was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely recommend!

My daughter surprised me with a couple of virtual tours of Prague, and I had an amazing time. She scheduled our tours with Prague City Adventures through Amazon. We went on a tour of the Vrtba Garden with Mark as our tour guide. He was engaging and interesting and was very patient when I wanted to admire a particular plant or garden arrangement. I really enjoyed how he was able to convey the feeling of being in a calm retreat even though I was only looking through the camera. Then we went on a tour of Prague Castle with Katerina. She was very knowledgeable about Prague Castle and shared interesting stories about former residents and people who shaped its design and history. I especially enjoyed being able to see the cathedral. The stained glass windows were magnificent and I loved seeing the light come through in colorful patterns on the walls. I had a wonderful time on both tours and would highly recommend these experiences.

Our guide was Mark, an American who has lived in Prague for 7 years, and is now a citizen. It's fair to say Mark is very passionate about the history of the Czech Republic, and in particular the city of Prague. The tour was extremely interesting, my wife and I learned a great deal. As there were only my wife and I on the tour, Mark was extremely flexible. He tool the time to check in with us to make sure we were happy with how the tour was going, or if there was anything in particular that we wanted to see. Key point: He knew of back entrances to places in order to avoid queues! The lunch stop was lovely, and our choice of the goulash was delicous. We have no hesitation in recommending Mark as a guide!

We did old town tour of Prague with Mark via Amazon Virtual Tour. It was our first tour and Mark did not disappoint. We learned about this beautiful city's history and it felt that we were there in person. I would highly recommend this tour with Mark. He is friendly, knowledge and easy to understand. We hope one day soon we can see this beautiful city in person

We had the most entertaining and most educational tour with Nikola who showed us around the must-see sights on our first time visit to Prague. Her knowledge about the history of the city as well as recommendations for food and places to spend quality time was immense. We highly recommend this very personal tour in small groups.

We booked a 6 hour tour with Nikola thru the city of Prague. She took us through the castle, on a boat ride and thru other major sites of the city. She did Ana awesome job accommodating the needs of our large family group which included 6 adults, 4 kids and 2 vegans! She offered tons of great information on the culture, history and even her own personal experiences as a young girl living under communist rule. We highly recommend this experience for a local perspective on Prague and excellent recommendations for food, shops, and other sites around the city!

This was one of the best tours I've ever taken! Our tour guide Jan was so fun to spend the day with. He was very knowledgeable about Prague and was able to answer every question we had. I learned so much about Prague's history and had such a fantastic time exploring and getting to know the lore of this beautiful city. Jan even gave us tea and cookies made by his daughter. Truly the best tour guide ever!!

I had the most amazing time during the Christmas market tour with Pavla. She was so warm and really knew a lot about Czech traditions and the history of Prague. We were able to travel to multiple different markets, sing carols, enjoy Christmas cookies and mulled wine while learning more about Prague. I cannot recommend this tour enough especially with Pavla, she is great!

Our food tour guide Tereza was just incredible ❤️ She brought us to places off the beaten track, places the locals would go! My favourite was definitely the Goulash it was DELICIOUS. Come hungry, there is so much food and come early in your trip to be able to use the recommendations of your guide for the rest of your trip! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed exploring the Easter markets with Katy. It was full of surprises. The book monument is such a wonderful idea (until I get there and decide I want to read one of the books so I just pull out the one I want and the whole thing comes crashing down… I probably would). There are lots of beautifully-decorated eggs – there are so many different designs and ways of making the eggs and it’s all very creative. The markets also sell socks, food and toys and there are people dancing. Easter in the UK is mainly just an excuse to eat chocolate (since when do we need an excuse to do that?) and it’s lovely that it's a real celebration in Prague and an opportunity to have fun. At the end of the tour, Katy took us on a bonus trip to see the Astronomical Clock. It really was a lovely tour. Katy is a great guide who really takes the trouble to explain things that might be new to us, like the Czech traditions.

We had an amazing time on this tour with our tour guide Teresa. She was so knowledgeable, professional and passionate. She shared all the best info about the castle and Prague. Lunch afterwards was in a great place with local food. She even took us into a gorgeous neighborhood that we never would have seen if she had not shown us. If you are doing a tour of the castle definitely do it here and ask for Teresa.

We just had the best tour with Prague City Adventure! Our guide was Pavla and she was excellent! She knows Prague's every corner, every shortcut. She describes the history and architecture in an engaging way, making it real, personal. We started in the Old city, weaving the way through New city, explored the Castle, downhill to Charles Bridge. We stopped by for delicious snack and a nice (included) lunch. It was long and exhausting day, but well paced and oh so informative. She was great with recommendations for other interesting siteseeing options, restaurants, shops, you name it. Highly highly recommend City Adventure for tours and excursions!

We booked using Amazon and I was initially thinking it may be awkward or not feel authentic. I was completely wrong, Mark was really great, very interesting and easy going. The quality was perfect, and we even got some really great pictures and felt like we were right there with him! My family and I really enjoyed learning about Prague! The city is absolutely stunning, and has so much history, we could have spent several hours exploring more, it made us so excited to book more tours from the comfort of our living room!

We did this tour on our first night in Prague. Our guide,Jirka, was amazing. He showed us around town and gave us a full history and experience of the local Czech culture. We ate at four locations that we would not have known about on our own. The food and beer was fantastic. By the end of the night we felt like we had made a friend and we appreciated Jirka sharing his home country with us. An experience we would not have had on our own.

I can confidently say that this was by far my favorite Amazon tour experience that I've had so far. Johanka was an amazing host and tour guide: funny, entertaining, engaging, and so sweet. She told so many interesting stories about Prague’s history and pointed out so many intricate details that I would have missed otherwise. Not to mention how absolutely stunning and opulent the historical buildings were, with many going back hundreds of years. I cannot recommend this experience enough and I absolutely will be booking more in the future. Thank you very much, Johanka!

I did a walking tour of the Jewish Quarter and it was incredible! This part of town is a true must-see and I feel blessed I got to visit it. Our guide Pavla was great and knew so much about the history and culture of the neighborhood. She shared interesting stories about the Jewish community of Prague, which provided a perfect background for the places visited. We were all deeply touched by these stories and Pavla's devotion with which she presented them. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague, the tour covers many aspects of the city, from unbelievable history through touching stories to breathtaking architecture! Thank you so much, Pavla, this was the best thing I've done in Prague so far. (Including the coffee break that was very much needed and appreciated.

We (my wife and I) did the Prague City Adventures walking tour of the Jewish Quarter with Pavla and had a wonderful experience. Pavla was exceptionally knowledgeable of the Jewish history and showed us the best locations to visit. Additionally, she followed up with an information email providing links to additional resources based upon topics we experienced on the tour. We also purchased the lunch package which initially I thought was a bit pricey, but was well worth it considering the cost covered the lunch and also provided a relaxed forum where Pavla could share some additional recommendations for further sight seeing on our own.

The best food tour ever! Our hostess was amazing! She showed us around a bit of Prague on the tour. We went to several different locations for food and drink, and I will continue to dream about each one. If you’re considering a trip to Prague, just do it! The city is friendly, beautiful, and very rich in history. And while you’re there, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Prague City Adventures. You will not be disappointed!

(Translated by Google) We booked the brewery tour, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Forget the classic tourist tour, we were lucky enough to be accompanied by Eliška, a Czech beer-loving girl who took us to her favorite places! The thing that struck us most was the personalized choice of breweries, as if we had happened with other guides the places would have been different. Supreme beers, accompanied by typical local snacks .. more than a tour, it seems like an outing with friends! Very good Eliška, see you soon! Bravissima Eliška, a presto! Ivan e Marzia

Lukas was passionate and informative throughout the evening. He is a friendly guide and the food provided was absolutely delicious. I loves the fact where you went was where locals go, and off the beaten path. No tourists. A true cultural experience. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this tour as a crash course in Prague. My guide, Michaela did a fabulous job of explaining the history of Prague, the significance of key sights, and of course treating us to delicious local cuisine. This is a great way to begin your time in Prague and orient yourself to the city.

We met Adam under the Wenceslas Statue and were immediately impressed by his charming g manner and excellent language skills. This tour takes you through the off street network of shops cinemas and cafes where most daily life takes place in the city. Adam's knowledge of the area as a Prague native was excellent and we gained a good insight into the Spirit of he 1989 revolution which is still fresh in the lifes of citIzens of this proud country. I would recommend you take this tor at the start of your visit to Prague as it will put your appreciation of the city into a different context for the rest of your trip.

When we arrived for our tour, we soon discovered that the other two couples booked on the trip had not turned up, so I was a little worried that the foodie tour may be a little awkward. It very quickly became apparent that quite the reverse was the case. Lukas, our guide, was fantastic company and very easy to chat to. He guided us around a range of amazing places to enjoy traditional czech food and drink, while keeping us engaged with tales about czech history, explanations of how the food and drink were important to czech culture as well as giving us some great recommendations for other places to go during our trip. Cannot recommend this highly enough. It was the highlight of our trip to Prague.

We had about 10 hours to spend in Prague so my friend and I decided to do this city walking and boat tour. It was the best decision we ever made! We saw all of the touristy spots in Prague but also got to try some very delicious food. Our tour guide Saša was incredible! He knew so much about Prague's history and culture. He was very talkative and interested in learning more about everyone else and what brought them to Prague. He gave great recommendations of other things to do and see while in the city. Highly recommend! Next time I'm in Prague I will definitely check one of his other tours!

I posted the following review on TripAdvisor last summer: "This beer tour was definitely one of the best parts of my trip! My guide, Johanka, was charming and informative, and fostered a true sense of Czech community throughout the evening. She took us to multiple locations, all of which were different from the others yet equally as enjoyable, and talked us through each of the dishes and beers we could select from. As a solo traveler, it was so wonderful to feel like I was spending the evening with friends. Thank you, Johanka - you're the best!" I felt compelled to leave another review here because Johanka truly went above and beyond. In the midst of a global pandemic, and a really challenging time for the tourism industry, Johanka emailed all of her former tour participants with a little "care package" including photos of local hot spots and Czech recipe, music, and movie recommendations. This act is so very emblematic of who Johanka is, as both a person and a tour guide - she loves her community deeply and goes above and beyond to share that with her clients. I'm so lucky to have snagged her as my guide, and I hope that whoever is reading this will, too!

Our guide Nikola was the absolute best! Her knowledge of Prague and its history was everything we hoped for. We had the best little group which I believe added to the experience. This was an amazing tour, and our guide Johanka was excellent. She really gave us the insiders perspective of Prague away from the typical tourist attractions and alongside the local favorite pubs and locals. Great drinks, appetizers, and snacks included. The tour ended in a place we would have never found on our own, a garden pub watching a beautiful sunset, and then the twinkling night lights of Prague. I can't wait to go back in 2021! Johanka, please be our guide!

Joanna Mickiewicz guided our group of 6 through Prague for the best food tour we have experienced. She figured out pretty quick that we were a group that embraced adventure and authentic food. A group of three of us did the Prague Beer and Czech Tapas tour last year. We had so much fun exploring Prague, tasting local beers, and eating some great Czech foods! Joanna (Johanka) was an excellent guide, mixing historical and cultural facts into our evening while also managing the group on public transport. I'd definitely recommend for food and beer lovers to check this tour out!

This was a great tour! We spent the day walking the city and hearing stories of the surrounding buildings and culture by Mark. The boat ride was a unique view of the things I had seen from the Charles Bridge. He gave us some tips that helped out with planning the rest of our vacation. The small group was a lot nicer than the huge tours you see in the city.

My friend and I did the Prague Food by Foot tour last August to get an introduction to the city before spending 5 days there. Our guide Joanna was such a delight and gave us the best experience on our first day! We got to try such a fun variety of food - some of the Czech staples as well as some local favorites. Joanna made us feel like we were really "in the know" by the time our tour ended. In addition to restaurants, Joanna shared some historical facts about Prague, gave us a tour of a church on our route, and took us on a boat ride across the river. The food tour turned out to be so much more than that - it was truly an all-encompassing Prague experience! Our time with Joanna was honestly one of the highlights of our trip - I'd love to take another tour with her if I find myself back in Prague in the future.

My husband and I took a virtual tour (Legends, Myths, and Alchemy in Haunted Prague) with Guillaume, booked through Amazon Explore. What a wonderful experience. We learned so much from Guillaume and took the most beautiful pictures. We love in person tours when we travel, but never thought you could get so close to the real thing virtually. What a fantastic experience for a first-time visit to Prague. This was one of the first beer tours that went ahead post-lockdown, and being only a party of two (these events usually have a maximum of ten people) we couldn't have felt more accommodated throughout our experience. Lukas was a fantastic host who, on top of his passionate and informed tour of the best bars in Prague, was a superb guide to the entire city for a first-timer. The drinking spots we went to were incredible and the selection of beers very diverse. As someone who isn't the exactly a beer connoisseur, it was a breath of fresh air to have someone so passionate about his job that it made us all the more excited to try even more places. The tapas selection was delicious and great for anyone keen to get a taste for some of the authentic Czech food. After the tour, Mr Lukas even sent me a selection of cool bars to go to for our last night in the city. 10/10 experience.

Our family took the 5-hour beer & tapas walking tour through neighborhood bars in Prague last March. Johanka M. was our sensational guide & is worthy of a 5-star rating. She was ultra-knowledgeable of the neighborhoods and pubs we visited. She shared great antidotes about each pub and all the beer and tapas we sampled. She had answers to all our questions. She was fun to be with. We were on a 3-city excursion through Vienna, Budapest and Prague. We had tours in each city and Johanka was the BEST. Johanka still keeps in touch with recent pictures of Prague, recipes and cultural happenings. She made our tour and stay in Prague special. I highly recommend Johanka M. for these tours. You will have a fantastic time.

I visited Prague in February and June 2019. During my first visit, I went on the Czech beer and tapas tour. Our guide Johanka was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I enjoyed the fact that the tour took us mostly off the usual tourist track and we got to try some authentic Czech food and some awesome beers. The fact that there were only about 5 of us made the tour more enjoyable as the craic was great. The experience I got on this tour and my first visit to Prague was the reason I went back so soon as there is so much to do in Prague. I would certainly recommend this tour and if you are lucky, you will enjoy Johanka's enthusiasm.

This really was one of my better tours during a recent trip to Europe! I was a little nervous at first because this seemed a bit more "corporate" than some of the tours I had been on. While I suspect all groups in this version of tour go to the same restaurants and cafes, they were very well picked ones, so I didn't mind! This was some of the best food of my trip by far. Delicious soup, really unique dishes, and some things that I've been trying to recreate ever since! Johanka was very personable, very friendly, and very easy to talk to. She made it seem like a much more shared experience even though the format may have been a bit cookie cutter. She also made excellent recommendations when I asked for shops where I could buy locally made souvenirs! I would definitely recommend this tour.

Joanna was a bright ray of sunshine as she brought our little tour group around Prague. She not only brought us to places that locals go to, she also made sure we ate all the key Prague favourites. Not to mention, she was so knowledgeable and helped us to understand Prague. I really enjoyed the time with her and it ended with a lovely drink on a boat microbrewery on the river! Thank you Joanna!

We had a wonderful tour in November 2018 with Joanna. She is extremely knowledgeable and we will definitely take another tour with her next time we're in Prague.

John was an amazing tour guide. We discussed the history of Prague and he knew all the shortcuts to walk the entire city in 6 hours. I learned about the culture and got a chance to taste the local dishes. The clock was incredibly beautiful, and I was so happy to be able to purchase limited edition clock magnets from the museum. The architecture is incredible, and he ended with a love story about his mother…who does not like a good love story?

👍👍 This was my first experience with a free walking tour, but I thought Ian was a great guide. He provided important historical context for understanding Prague and Czechia. The tour wasn't dry though, it was entertaining as well as informative. It isn't really free since you pay what you think the tou...

👍 I didn't plan to attend this but for the reception at the hostel who pushed it strongly (that i didn't plan to stay at). Expect to hang out with a bunch of 20 year old tourists from all over the city, so this is not your genuine local experience (and certainly age inappropriate for me). That having...

👍👍 An amazing food tour of Prague. Thanks to Zach for a wonderful day, his knowledge of history really added to the overall experience walking through the streets of Prague between each food stop. I would highly recommend this tour for your next visit to Prague.
