We have just had the most amazing tour with George (sorry, I didn't get the Czech version of his name). What an absolute pleasure to be with such a history enthusiast, no question was unable to be answered, in full and to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this tour for a good understanding of Prague during the war years, and the events leading up to the Czech Republic.

During the 2-hour tour, our guide Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions! We saw Prague in a new light, I cannot recommend this tour enough. Such an interesting tour for people who like history or just want to know more about the Czech Republic and its people

Great tour. Very informative with locations of events and stories. Probably about 20mins too long considering the walking. Others in the group left a bit early because of this. The tour guide Pavel was friendly and knowledgeable. The anthropoid assassination was well covered and the main focus of it all. We never visited the church where the final battle commenced but visited the next day. This is a must if you're into ww2.

A thoroughly enjoyable and highly informative tour. Jacob, our guide is an expert in Czech history and his depth of knowledge for the period from 1918 to the present day is remarkable. What really made our tour most enjoyable was Jacob's deep passion for his subject area, which gave us a very human and emotive account of the terrible events which took place during those years. Highly recommended.

Probably our best experience while visiting Prague. Jacob seemed to be genuinely excited about sharing his knowledge. The tour was very interesting, enjoyable and well structured. If there was an extended 4 hour version, we'd be among the first ones to book it :) Thank you!

We took the tour as my wife and I are very interested in World War 2 and the tour didn't disappoint. Our tour guide Jacob, was very knowledgeable and invited questions on the subject matter constantly. We particularly liked going to the areas off the beaten track that without a guide such as Jacob you would miss these gems. The highlight was the story and experience of the Reinhard Heydrich assassination and the Czech paratroopers who carried out this heroic attack. We really enjoyed sharing the history of what is clearly something the Czech nation are rightly very proud of.

Did tour with Paval. His knowledge of Czech history is amazing. I found his explanations of how Bohemian & Moldovan interactions with neighbouring countries & changed rulers fascinating. However some of his explanations were a little confusing & difficult to understand. The tour is quite long (3+ hours) & covers quite a distance. Paval walks at a very fast pace & didn’t seem to have much concern for those walking bit slower. The look at the WW2 artefacts was a bit of a letdown. Rather than us just sit at a table & Look at various documents & photos, I would have appreciated some explanations of the various documents & the context & impact on the people involved. Overall an enjoyable tour but room for improvement

I booked the tour with my family (2 adults, 2 kids)and I must say that’s is excellent. Pavel explained every in detail during a 3hs tour. We walked through different places in the city to feel and see the history. You can tell he loves his country and I recommend it 100%.

Wow, what a tour. It felt like being in a History Channel special. Pavel is engaging and knows basically every date and time by heart. The best tour I've ever taken not just in Prague but worldwide. I got goosebumps in some parts of it. It's definitely a must see in Prague for anyone interested in WW2, history, human courage in the face of tyrants.

I went on this tour with my dad and it was extremely engaging, interesting, and fun! Jacob was our guide and he was super knowledgeable and interesting to listen too. The tour was about three hours long, but that was mostly due to the fact that our group got along super well and was asking a lot of questions! Overall I highly recommended this walking tour and I felt like I learned a lot about WW2 in prague!

I’ve never been a guided tour person but when I read the other reviews I knew I had to join. I can tell you that it exceeded my expectations and it’s definitely worth going if you are interested in WWII. Our guide, George, was super friendly and after the tour we ended up having lunch with him and one other couple. Great experience :)

This was an excellent addition to our study abroad program. The students loved it and learned a great deal. Hana was very knowledgeable and able to answer many questions. A highlight was the bomb shelter which was huge. Enjoy!

One of the best tours I have ever been on. We learned a lot about Prague during the WW2 and the old photos and war memorabilia, shown by the guide, were a great bonus. Highly recommended!

Tourguide George was brilliant and knowledgeable. He knew his subject and interacted with our group. Well worth the fee.

Our guide Jiří (George) was very knowledgeable and provided us with a most interesting tour of the sites of many WWII events throughout Prague, and included relevant backstories from other centuries and current day as we went through the city and under it. Jiří added humor where appropriate. He was informative and answered all the group's questions

I was lucky to find out about this 2+ hour walking tour and luckier still to have Jacob as our guide. I can't say enough about Jacob's clear and knowledgeable presentation as well as the passion he has for his work. He had an album of historic photos which he used effectively at different points bringing us further into this turbulent time for Prague. On this tour I learned about the nearby Communism Museum which I visited later and also highly recommend. Jacob told me I was the only Alaskan he'd had in the four years he had been doing this tour. So perhaps I made a tiny impression but not nearly the impression he and his information made on me. Thank you Jacob!

A wonderful and exciting tour! We were lucky that there were only three of us, so it was almost like a private tour through the past. Our tour guide Jiři (George; sorry if your name is misspelled) told us a lot about the background of individuals and situations in very good English and even some German words with great knowledge and passion. It was fascinating, exciting and informative. :)

We did the tour yesterday with Pavel/Paul (hope I got that right 🥲) and it was amazing! You could really feel the love and passion he has for the Czech history and he told the Anthropoid story like he‘s been there himself. Would 100/10 recommend. Love, The German beer fans ✌🏼😂
