I woud highly recommend this tour. Not only because of the variety of places you are visiting, but also because of all the stories you get. Things you would never think of when you just stay in Old Town. Our guide Sany was great! Well spoken and she knows a lot. The only thing: I would advise you to buy 2 public transport tickets. Mine expired 2 minutes after the end of the tour.

Very good tour to escape the crowds and see something different. Unfortunately Prague, even Praha 7, is more or less gentrified. But still good to escape the crushing crowds of the old town.

Very good guide. He first tells you something about the history of the Czechs and with that in mind you go and explore the new art forms

Without a doubt, the best tour I took in Prague. Our tour guide, Anna, was a bundle of positive energy and good vibes. I recommend everyone to take this tour on the second day of your trip to Prague once you are done roaming around the Old Town Centre. The entire tour was brilliantly planned and while we covered so much ground and visited so many locations, at no point did it feel rushed. The art district was fab. We also visited an art gallery in an upcoming art square along with a really cool discreet artist hangout. Saw some great graffiti all around town along with some legal graffiti walls. We ended the tour at a lovely diner made out of scrap metal and auto parts. Anna even helped everyone figure other plans for the rest of their trip. Places to visit. Made rough itineraries for anyone looking to visit multiple venues on a day. EVERYONE who visits Prague should consider this walking tour. 🙂

It was my partners and I first trip to Prague and we were recommended the Alternative Tour. I have to say the tour was the best city excursion I have ever been on. We visited places that we would not ordinarily choose ourselves as tourists and we were able to get a better understanding of the sub culture of the city. We were given an in depth history of each particular site and how it relates to present day Prague which gave us perspective on what is general local impression on the scene. Which I thought was brillant. We used the trams and metro to visit some of the sites. This was also a huge bonus as what got to visit more places in different areas and learnt how easy and convenient it is to get around the city which was really beneficial for the rest of our holiday. We were given the option to try the local food and of course beer as well as some cool vegan and vegetarian options. There was enough rest stops and yet the tour was carried out at a relatively speedy pace, the organisation of time was good. If you like walking and learning about "What'sup" this tour is for you. Thank you Tomas! Looking forward to attending the graffiti workshop next time we are back!

We attended the tour & the workshop with a school class (aged 17) The tour was very interesting. Sandra told us many interesting things about the social situation in Prague and guided us to very cool alternative places. She was very motivating and the pupils really liked her. After that we had a Graffiti Workshop with Tamas. He was very engaged and took a lot of time to take care of us. The tour & the workshop lasted - with a little break at cross club - really cool place - about 6-7 hours and i would really recommend it!

This was the best tour to get outside of the tourist center and see such interesting parts of Prague. I double-booked our tours accidentally and Tomas was so responsive and flexible and made sure we were able to experience this fantastic tour. Tomas was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his city. He showed us things we never would have found on our own and are not in any guide book. Best guided tour of our 10 day Central Europe adventure! Thanks, Tomas and Alternative Prague Tours! Book it, you won’t regret it!

If you only do one tour during your time in Prague, this is the one! This incredible tour has many amazing stops and offers a great balance of art, history and humour. Guide Sandy was fabulous and guaranteed you will see gems that would otherwise be hidden.

One of the best tours of our trip! Tomas was a fantastic tour guide and we loved the artwork along the tour. We also got great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Only wished we'd done it on our first day in the city. Recommended!

An interesting tour taking us to places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. We got lots of tips for places to check out for the rest of our trip. Definitely worth it

Really enjoyed this tour. Was great to get out to the parts of Prague that you would not know how to find. Great information about the street/alternative art scene

We did this tour end of May. I wouldn't recommend doing this tour. I was very disappointed about it. The guide was nice, but the information we got was so little... We've visited the crypto currency cafe: only explanation was that you can buy drinks with bitcoins. We visited the slaughterhouse, no information at all except that it now houses Chinese vendors. Normally we would visit artists performing there: the venue was closed. So little facts, quirky details or nice background stories were given. :-( We've done lots of alternative tours in other cities and this one was the first to disappoint.

Fun tour, saw a whole side of Prague you would never know about from books or just being a tourist. Some of the sites were transitioning or about to be demolished so we missed that art, but there was still plenty of good art to see and our guide was very informative and helpful and sincerely cared about the story he has to tell

A very special tour with a very vibrant tour guide. She showed us the hidden side of Prague, the side that is not familiar to tourists but reflects the point of view of the local people. We had a great time very interesting!

My boyfriend and I did a private graffiti workshop with Sanny last year. She was super nice, knowledgeable, accommodating and made sure we had an awesome time. It was a one of a kind experience for both complete and total newcomers to the artform like myself, and veterans like my boyfriend. We would totally recommend this to couples or friends looking for an afternoon activity.

Fantastic tour. We can only recommend it. Tomas, our guide, was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to everyone in the group. You get to see a lot of interesting places in Prague off the beaten track. All the spots shown, the street art, the cafes and venues are worth visiting again. We had enough time to explore and get a first idea. Tomas provides you with further information of events etc. if you are interested. Book that tour, it’s worth every cent.
