THE WORST DOCTOR EXPERIENCE, STAY AWAY! Good location, but extremely unprofessional and rude. Luckily there are many competent GPs in Karlin, so we switched. And unlike Grohova they don't charge for the "privilege" of speaking English. This office is a joke and a danger to your health. Stay away.

Stay away. They charge a fee for speaking English. Using their logic, Foreign investment and foreign companies (most employers and companies here are foreign) should charge czech people extra for doing business here then. They quoted me a price by email but when I got there, it more than doubled. Always a different doctor and staff as well. If you're an expat, make sure you dress nice before they screw you!

Expat here, I came here to write a longstanding and overdue review. I had been working between Dublin and Prague and needed an English speaking doctor to support some ongoing medical support. I am not registered and they offer an option to self pay. I see a number of negative reviews recently and I am surprised to read them. My first number of months trying to find a GP to support and in English was a major challenge. When I found Dr Grohova from the initial and subsequent appointments the service was superb. Whenever I needed even at short notice the team made all necessary arrangements for me. For a private doctor as a self payer I would say my experience was some of the best care and also value for money I have experienced as a longstanding traveller. What a fantastic doctors visit today! My appointment was for 10:30 and by 10:32 I was sitting in front of the doctor. She was completely professional yet had the best bedside manner I have experienced! She not only listened to me but HEARD me. I highly recommend this office and this doctor to anyone here in Prague! Not even in the USA do you get this kind of service and treatment. I felt like I was being treated by a family member. Thank you doctor! I am with this GP for more than 4 years and it is the best GP i ever had (i am mostly with Dr Werbikova, however the whole team is fantastic including the lovely nurses). There is an administration fee to pay for every visit which is in my opinion worth every czk for the service, quality and almost zero waiting times. All nurses and doctors speak English. I recommend this doctor to all my friends and everyone who went loved it too. Really happy and clear recommendation!

Worst doctors ever. Not only do they charge me 300CZK for each visit, even with insurance. The doctor is also not helpful, constantly telling me he couldn’t do anything for me if I came with a problem. On top of it all, they now won’t release my medical records to me unless I pay them. Emailing someone their medical records takes 5 minutes and they want money from their patients. Overall, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. You guys should learn to treat your patients better

They de-list you as a patient without informing you why and no longer give you appointments, additional English fee to, I'd look elsewhere a bit of a naturopath approach instead of real medicine to.

Dr. Grohova and the other doctors at Doctor-Prague are fantastic! I have had especially good interaction with Dr. Marcela Werbikova, who saw me immediately for abdominal pain, recommended what turned out to be two exactly right specialists, and has done two follow-ups with me without even having to make an appointment. All taken care of very quickly and with good result. The doctors and the office staff all speak English, they make the calls ahead of time for you to help you schedule referrals, accept the usual insurances, and a very reasonably priced for those not carrying insurance. Whether you are in Prague long-term or are just a visitor with a one-time medical need, I think you will have the best experience here!

Avoid Dr. Werbiková! She couldn’t even distinguish between the symptoms of chickenpox and Covid. I was terribly sick, yet she didn’t prescribe any treatment except drinking water and rest, even when later I was getting significantly worse and I asked her to prescribe antibiotics, she refused and told me that I’d get better without it. As a result, in addition to everything I had, I also developed an ear infection that could’ve been easily avoided and had to be treated with antibiotics anyway prescribed by her colleague Dr Štefková, who right away told me that I had chickenpox and confirmed it with appropriate blood work. Many months later I’m still dealing with the side effects of this improper treatment by Dr. Werbiková. If you care about your health, never visit this doctor.

As an expat I wouldn't recommend this practice. I've been with this doctor for 4 years and I asked for a re-up of a prescription that I've been on every 3 months for 3 years (charging me 300czk with insurance every time I needed a new prescription) and the practice let me go as a patient immediately with out notice. Before this I had brought up serious issues I was having and requested to be referred to a specialist who could help me better, it took three appointments, bringing my father and husband and fighting for months for the doctor to hesitantly refer me.

I have been twice to Dr. Grohová and I can say without fear that she is the best physician I've have seen in my life. I´m from Germany and I NEVER met a doctor that took so much time for me and listened carefully to everything I said. You can see she's very professional and I had to undergo a number of tests before get a prescription medication as she wanted to be sure. In Germany the Doctors just look at you, don't even touch you and there you go. I think I was nearly an hour during the visit with Dr. Grohová and in Germany I see my doctor 5min tops. Very friendly assistant too. Oh and she speaks VERY GOOD ENGLISH! Totally recommended for expats. Thanks doctor for making going to the doctor a pleasant experience.

Amazing professional, both her and the nurse were very nice and helpful and speak perfect English! She is meticulous and listens to everything you have to say very carefully. Definitely recommending, it's so rare to meet such good doctors nowadays!

I can't say enough about Dr Ivana Grohova and her staff. They are the best in the business. I received the best possible care as an English speaking foreigner. Dr Ivana's office managed to find an appointment late in the morning after I contacted them that same morning. I didn't have a GP in Prague so I was very happy to find a Dr as I was experiencing an issue that was making me worried. Dr Ivana did asked a lot of questions, did my examination and ended up prescribing me several types of medicine. One day later, I already started feeling better. The staff is very nice and speaks English. I am very happy I found her.

Great service in a welcoming place! All the staff were very friendly and spoke great English. I emailed in the evening and was given an appointment the morning after so very efficient. Dr. Grohová was very kind and gave me everything I needed. Would definitely return if I need to!

Personally a great experience for me. The nurse and doctor are very friendly, helpful, speak perfect English and take the time to inform you about everything and anything you want to know. Yes, there is a 300 czk fee for every visit, but I gladly pay the fee to be helped in perfect English, until I can speak Czech, which I'm expecting to take many years,... ;-) There might be a bit of a focus towards a naturopath approach instead of "real" medicine, but not strongly.

I contacted this practice from Australia for my daughter via email. The response was so quick, my daughter was seen within 36 hours it was effortless to organise. In addition to this, the doctor was amazing and really help my daughter. I would recommend this service, and I'd also like to say thank you.

Went there for a health exam and was positively surprised. Dr. Werbikovà is such a darling and so competent. I really enjoyed how she took time for me, gave smart advice and I love that she also cares about mental health and doesn't just see humans as a machine. The nurse was very nice as well. Everything was very efficient. English was perfect. Will come back yearly from now on.

Great English speaking doctors in Prague. I was visiting as a tourist and unfortunately contracted an eye infection. They were able to get me an appointment within 2 hours of calling and went above and beyond to help solve my issues and had good knowledge of insurance etc. thank you so much!

This practice is wonderful! I recently moved from America to Prague and I don’t speak any Czech, so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a doctor to help me with my medications. This clinic is incredibly friendly, helpful, professional, and perfect for expats. Wonderful staff and friendly doctor who cares about everyone’s general well-being. She’s thorough with questions and will take time to suggest natural remedies before giving out a prescription (which I appreciate). I’ve lived in Praha for 4 years and been to a few different doctors offices, this one will be my regular go-to.

I wasn't registered with the doctor and needed help with an emergency , the nurse answered and he was so helpful called me to the clinic and took my appointment for registration so he could help me with the emergency , so thankful and really happy to see such treatment from a doctor which has so far been terrible with all other doctors here .
