As a customer that booked the hotel before the owner change, we feel like the quality of the stay really doesn’t meet the price we paid for. We were expecting a 5-star boutique hotel with nice service. At the end there is no service at the hotel (except the WhatsApp chat), also the room is not cleaned during the stay (only possible if you stay longer than one week) not to mention the spa and the breakfast format are also changed. Basically the email saying the owner change will not affect the customer is not true at all… On the date of check-in, we still haven’t received the PIN code for the room, only by contacting the customer service, we were informed that the hotel didn’t receive our payment, so they could not provide us the PIN code. How could it be something that we were not informed beforehand? Shouldn’t the customer service inform us/ booking.com first, instead of waiting for us to ask them for PIN only few hours before we arrive Prague? Not to mention we paid for the stay few days before the trip, and even received the message from the bank saying the payment is successful. But the hotel just said they didn’t receive any thing on their system and even sent us a payment link directly, which should not be allowed for booking made through booking.con. We shared our payment proof to their agent but the issue still could not be resolved as it was not in English ( they don’t accept we Google translate it ourselves. The conversation with their agent goes no where so we decided to ask for the support from booking.com. It was a hassle as I need to call booking.com and ask their agent to contact the hotel before my flight. Luckily the agent from booking.com is super helpful and solved the issue for us. The hotel room is beautiful and spacious, but besides the room itself, I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are expecting a 4/5 star service.

We reached hotel at 9pm. Firstly everything is digital.. not a single staff to assist in day and in night. We plugged the socket , the power went off totally. No staff to assist and after long wait , they changed our room. Morning they asked us to change the room again. Another room , that was ours, got out of access with no intimation of change in room login pin. All calls are directed to call centre so every time there is a new person on call and to explain all over again that was very painful. Untill 1pm next day we were only trying to sort out our room. Many more concerns that we faced in just few hours and couldn't see them resolving our issue. I would not recommend anyone to go for this hotel. Good for business work but not for family and vacation

To all potential guests: this location is no longer a 5 star Hotel Republika suites but was inquired by numa and offered as an unserviced apartment! This was the worst check-in experience I had in my entire life. I had originally booked the stay over Expedia for the hotel before it was taken over by numa. Not only was I not informed about the service level change(would have cancelled the booking), I had to find out when asked to check-in online myself to receive access to the hotel room. I was asked to provide scan of my identification documents for upload on the website (data protection risk)! However, after the check-in, I was not provided with a PIN code. I got in touch with the WhatsApp support number and after conversations with a bot and service staff I was told, that my payment did not go through and I had to handle it with Expedia. Not only was this issue not raised to me earlier, but apparently check-in works independently from payment?! Then numa would not answer to my messages or email with the payment confirmation afterwards, even though Expedia called them and confirmed that I paid in full. After one hour calls with three agents from Expedia I was finally sent the PIN code and could enter the hotel at 21:40. I have never experienced service personell this unwilling to help a paying guest at a five star hotel! I will never book any stays with numa again and certainly do not recommend it.

Since the change of owner and system, it became a disaster. Booked the hotel on booking.com and paid everything, but on the day itself they contact us claiming we haven’t paid the rooms yet. Both on booking.com and bank statement it showed as paid. In the end it took us few hours after contacting different agents on booking.com and Numa to have it solved. Also breakfast is a buffet now instead of the fancy dishes you can order like before.

Niemals wieder!

I recently stayed at your hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standards I had expected. As a guest who had booked a suite in the Penthouse, I was disappointed with the service I received upon arrival. When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed by your staff that I needed to pay for my reservation before being allowed to enter my room. While I understand the hotel's payment policies, I felt that the manner in which this was communicated could have been handled better. As a guest, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, and this experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I believe that communication and customer service are crucial to providing a positive guest experience, and I hope that the hotel management can take the necessary steps to improve these areas. By doing so, you can ensure that future guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with great spa. However our visit to Prague was completely ruined at last night because we were informed that every visit to the spa was 100€. Nobody told us that and there are no signs indicating that. They will charge without your knowledge, beware.

I’ve been there with my girlfriend for 1 week. The hotel is gorgeous, it’s so beautiful, boutique style. The hotel is brand new, and you really can tell that put efforts at the hotel. Everything was really perfect, even small details. I have been to many 5* hotels, and this one was one of the best, really liked the boutique feeling. Pros: - Cleanliness: the room was perfectly clean every day. -Staff: they was SO nice, always wanted to help with a smile, and really gave as a personal feeling, always check how are we, and always offered help (just the guy with the long beard wasn’t nice, looked like bored from the guests). - Room: it was big (34m), very beautiful, bed was nice, there was a Nespresso machine with capsules complimentary. - Spa: I cant tell in words how fun it was. You can reserve the whole spa area for yourself (free of charge!), it was so nice! It has a beautiful jacuzzi and sauna, loved it! Food: we didn’t have a breakfast included (we prefer to go coffee shops) but we have ordered a breakfast from the room service one morning and it was really good. Cons (really hard to find): - Location: the location is OK, could be more in the center. It’s 5 minutes from the Paladium mall, and 12 minutes from the astronomical clock which is really ok. - Room: the only thing that wasn’t perfect is the curtains, those can’t be closes 100% so in 7am the room is full of light, which was annoying because we both love a dark room when sleeping.. Conclusion: if you want a boutique hotel, with a beautiful room, nice staff go for this hotel and don’t hesitate!

I cannot say enough how amazing Hotel Republika is. It’s a hidden gem with so much charm! From the stunning decor to the staff that was just so welcoming and warm. I spent my birthday there and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. It’s a perfect blend of boutique and luxury, with playful touches and great finesse. I felt like I was in Paris, alluring and intimate atmosphere all around. The breakfast was delicious, room super comfortable and spacious, and the spa was just a cherry on the cake. I can highly recommend this place for anyone who loves unique atmosphere and excellent service, tucked away in a lovely street of Prague, but very close to everything within minutes.

I loved staying here, the beauty of the hotel is just the tip of the iceberg. Each detail is sophisticated and elegant, well worth the name of boutique 5 stars. I booked it for its aesthetic and I was not disappointed. They offer a variety of services: breakfast buffet, room service, drinks or restaurant, laundry service. They have a 24hour gym included and also a private spa with jacuzzi and sauna which you can book separately. They also offer massages or activities around the city. The best part tho was the service of the employees: everyone smiles and greets you everytime they see you, they speak flawless english and they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, always accomodating you. Everything for a very low price considering what you get. PET FRIENDLY and fast WIFI too Absolutely in love with this hotel😍

Pretty nice hotel with good rooms and a nice restaurant, however having almost everything digital means it might take some time to check in for example. Also there isn’t any good long-term parking spots near the hotel, it’s better to go a bit out of the city to park if you are not using a car much.

We booked two rooms to stay there with my family and my in-laws. The hotel is great! The online service works good but there are also people that would probably help with anything. We parked in front of the hotel and the employees helped with booking a parking ticket. The location is great. Everything is close, yet getting there is not an issue. I have been to Prague many times during my youth but this was the first time for my wife. She absolutely loved it and I think it’s also because of the hotel. I would stay there any time again!

We recently spent 5 nights in Prague at the Republika Hotel and could not have been more pleased with our experience. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, particularly the concierge and restaurant staff whose names we regrettably did not get. The hotel itself was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too. We very rarely write reviews but felt our stay at this hotel warranted it. We highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Awesome place, well situated about 5 to 10 mins walk from the old town Xmas market. Welcomed with a glass of prosecco and we were well looked after. My only issue on the rooms was a lack of international telly which we were supposed to have but didn't in either room but the rooms themselves are fantastic and the only regret I have is not being up in time to try their breakfast as it looked really good. The hotel was in contact before and after the reservation offering help and overall the service was awesome.

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It was my 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it so special. They helped with any problem we had and were so friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms and interior of hotel, spa and bar were amazing and it had a fantastic location. We will definitely be returning.

I definitely wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. Although there are several factors that are worth rating as well done, like: 1. Breakfast 2. Staff is polite and helpful 3. Room was spacious 4. Design is remarkable 5. Location - is just a few minutes from the main attractions However, our first impression was completely ruined by the housekeeping staff. Literally, there are no housekeeping and cleaning standards in this hotel. Dust on the floors remained untouched for the whole week of our stay. Tha same situation is with the tables and cups that were sticky and stained. We washed the cups ourselves. We used them, and again, no one even bothered to check their cleanliness and wash them on a permanent basis. Complementary water bottles were not provided after day one. We were urged to ask for them every day. One day we just did not find soap in our room. The other day, one of the pillows was missing. After that, they removed one cup and we were left with just one for everyone in the room. After the so called "cleaning", there was still trash on the floor and hair in the sink. Additional shower gel was not provided until we specifically asked for a new one, though it was obvious that there was none in the bathroom. This inconsistency and the lack of comprehension of a five star hotel's standards was really irritating and annoying and ruined all the positive mood we had at the beginning. Come on, guys, for this money we expected more effort or at least some common sense and control over the hotel's services. I should probably add that you shouldn't even try to call reception after 21.00. No one answered.

My husband and I had the most incredible stay here. The hotel is gorgeous and our suite was very comfortable with a sitting room, rain shower, and an awesome bed. Minibar was well stocked, food from the kitchen was yummy, and the breakfast buffet was superb. We also received the most amazing Thai massages and the spa was a great spot to relax after traveling. The location is very close to shopping, tram stop, and some of the sites, but is nicely tucked away so it was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful. We can’t wait to return!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Republika & Suites for one week´s holiday. Location: The hotel is located near the Prague old town on a small side street. We loved it because, it was very quiet outside, perfect for some drinks to end the day. Within 20-30 minutes you can reach several sights on foot. Room: We had an executive room that was well designed and clean. There was a coffee machine and minibar. The bed is 200 x 200 cm with enough pillows for a comfortable sleep. If you like to dark your room, there are thick curtains as well. Staff: The reception is very kind and warm. The service quality is very high. Whenever I had a question or want something to be organized, they completed it to the fullest satisfaction. Especially the service provided by Vojta. The service staff is lovely and had always a smile on the lip. They were very attentive and gave always their best to have you a great start to the day. Thanks to Katarina for our last-minute drinks. Food: The breakfast is very diverse. If you do not like bread in the morning if you can also get some egg dishes and yogurt. All in all, it was enough to have a great start to the day. Also, there are several drinks included. Spa: We had a 1 1/2h private spa experience due to the romantic package. You can use the sauna and jacuzzi for maximum relaxation. I can highly recommend the Thai massage. It was a blessing but trust me to book more than 30 minutes. If we visit Prague again we will be happy to stay there again. Greetings from Berlin Sven and Suni from room 502

Check in and out was easy and fast. The people in the hotel are all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good quality and variety too. We booked the executive suite, which meant our room was bigger, but it faces the street and it was quite noisy at night as the surrounding is quiet. If we come back again, we will probably book the normal room that faces the inside of the building. The location of the hotel is great too, 10 mins stroll to old town, 15 mins to train station, with plenty of food options nearby. Room was comfortable and well equipped, Wi-Fi worked great. Overall, a really nice hotel!

We loved this hotel! Excellent value. The suite offered plenty of room, and it was good to have a separate water closet from the bath. The location is away from the tourist bustle but close enough to walk to the old town. The staff was friendly and the service was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Stylish place to sit for a tea, coffee and quality desserts. They have nice loose tea only got shocked by the price of 90 czk (3.5 euro) and at the end they put some hidden costs which made this my most expensive tea ever ! Nice place, professional service from the lady but still the old attitude on overcharging and relying on tourists not being aware.

Some hotels you will find yourself like staying with friends.... At Republika you feel Like staying with very generous and luxury friends 😉 You arrive at a small reception insinde a very smooth, relaxed but elaborated and tasteful decorated entrance area. Everyth ing is arranged in green, black, golden interior design - classy... We parked our car in front of the hotel and were welcomed with some iced lemon water at check in. The rooms are really nice and 2 bedrooms give supplies you with enough space during your stay. Around the hotel within 5 (!) Min walk you find Restaurants and a very nice bar (Screenshot) make sure you eat at the Hanabi for excellent sushi and go to Screenshot for extravagant drinks. You can easily go for a run via Moldau, parks, the Castle and KarlsBridge. Enjoy the Spa!!!! It's awesome.... The staff is extremly nice. We felt like surrounded by Friends who invited us to join their place and we loved our stay! Very much recommend... Thank you Dominik, Kristof and all the others! We really enjoyed our stay with our little beetle....
