(Translated by Google) The garden was named after the Archbishop's Seminary, which acquired it at the end of the 18th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the garden began to be used by seminarians for walks by setting up scenic paths and planting fruit crops according to the project of Pomologist Svatopluk Mocker. The aim of the walks was the Baroque chapel and the refectory in the central part.

(Translated by Google) Almost all famous Czech painters and photographers created portraits of the Castle and the city from here. And it's no wonder who comes here, especially in spring and autumn, must be moved. (Original) Odsud tvořili portréty Hradu a města téměř všichni známí čeští malíři a fotografové.

Really lovely garden. It's a bit of a hike to get to the top but if it's a sunny day there are some great views of Praha. There are also some lovey cherry blossom trees or at least they certainly look like it.

My son and I love coming here to see all the peacocks 🦚 It’s super peaceful because cycling and dogs aren’t allowed, so the only noise is from the peacocks.

It was dog friendly (there's even small fountain with tap water for drinking, witch you can also give to your dog). And the view was astonishing.

Beautiful quiet place in the city away from massive overwhelming tourist crowds, beautiful greenery all around and the view of the city is just spectacular. Recommend coming and spending an hour or two or three here.

(Translated by Google) These gardens are part of the Petrin Hill area, perhaps the most popular green area in Prague, and from where there are beautiful views of the city. I recommend visiting these gardens, and in general this area on the same day that we visit the Cathedral grounds; for they are on the same bank of the river and not far from each other. It is a beautiful walk that is well worth it. And when we get tired, we can always return to the city calmly without stress, because it is downhill ...
