Trdelník & Coffee

Cafe Coffee shop Bistro

👍👍 Excellent pastry. The trdlnik (I don’t know how to pronounce that amount of consonants in a row) was warm and smoky, which is really enjoyable. There a little park close to the shop. It should be mandatory to eat it when visiting Prague. People often mention Prague, nice, trdelnik, cream, delicious, warm, friendly, Trdelnik, good, fresh,

For the first time I was there in 2018 on my first visit to Prague and I fell in love with trdelnik! I knew back then something called kurtosz in Poland, which is the dough baked on a roll alone without the fillings. But, well, those fillings were a true game changer. Warm dough filled with ice creams and apples was my haunting me for so long! And here I am, back again to Prague, eating this wonder again. :) Highly recommended to eat one while you're in Prague.

I tried trdelnik before in another place but I didn’t like it. This one is light and tasty. I got trdelnik with nutella and it was 80 CZK. For drink I got iced tea and it was 40 CZK. They told me this trdelnik is kosher because it does not have milk in it. Employees are nice and friendly. Unfortunately this is a small shop and not much seating.

Absolute best trdelnik in Prague - don’t waste your time or money anywhere else! Delicious warm fresh and being made in front of you, so many delicious toppings and staff are extremely friendly and kind (let me wash my hands in their basin after). Highly highly recommend! Other places are not fresh, overly dense and not warm - far less enjoyable.

The go to place for Trdelnik in Prague with a variety of flavours! It was delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. The Trdelnik is HUGE so 1 Trdelnik could easily suffice for 2 people as a Dessert.

It’s not a sit down place and is more just for pickup. The dresser was really nice and fresh. A little too sweet to have often but very tasty none the less.

The Trdelník was delicious! I suggest the basic one. Very soft inside and crunchy and caramelised outsider. The staff was very friendly and spoke multiple languages. The service was extremely quick. I wish you stayed open more days of the week, I would have had one every day!

As a Hungarian I have eaten different kinds of chimney cakes in many places so far however this is definitely one of the most delicious. There is a huge variety. I tried the Nutella and the chocolate tastes and both of them are amazing, especially the chocolate. I am not really fond of filling these cakes with ice cream but i have tasted it here and it was also great. Furthermore the staff is extremely nice and friendly they give you even some free samples for tasting.

This cafe sells traditional Czech pastry which is done on the spot. You can choose the fillings you desire. I chose apple strudel with ice cream. It was just heavenly. 😋

One of the best places to get the famous Trdelnik. This place was recommended to me by one of the locals and I wasn't disappointed. Though I am not a big fan of sweets but this one was good. It's a small family run business and runs very busy. But the waiting time is hardly 5 mins so you don't have to worry. Prices are fine and the service is fast.

Best Trdelník in Prague! The price is very good and also the quality. Also, the people that manage the place are very nice, and they make a really good product as well. I tried the Nut Glida Trdelnik and it was a very good choice but I would recommend the Apple Strudel Trdelnik as well.

Excellent place, the trdelniks here were tasty, soft, warm and fresh. We got the Nutella with strawberries and ice cream and the apple strudel with ice cream, both of them absolutely delicious. The staff was nice and friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. They even have a small bowl outside for dogs. I wish there were more of this place everywhere in the world, certainly the best place in Prague.

Tasty and sweet experience! Popular place with many choices of trdelnik but my favourite ones are basics. So fresh, so very well prepared. Ice tea is also a good thing to try. You can also buy a T-Shirt there if you want. This cafe will be in my memories forever. Happy to visit it again in Prague.

Delicious trdelnik and you definitely get a lot for what you pay. Very tasty filling for the apple one, lots of vanilla ice-cream and the dough itself was also very tasty. However if you are not a fan of sweets in general you might find this one to be a bit too sweet.

Probably one of the best Trdelnik you will find in Prague. Served fresh and still warm with many tasty toppings or just get the basic.

yum! We got the “nut gild” & added whipped cream☺️ super nice staff & the ice cream was really good especially when it’s so hot outside. The tunnel cake was good & had a super yummy cinnamon sugar flavor ! we also got a flat white too which was super great! it was super quick and not pricey, i think like 250 CZK for both :) thank you!

our tour guide said that trdelník & coffee had the best trdelník in prague so we had to try it! you can watch the employees make them fresh to order. we got the velvet tutim - trdelník with ice cream, strawberries, and nutella for 180czk. it’s definitely not cheap, but we shared it between two people and it was more than enough. ice cream had a soft serve consistency, vanilla flavor on the weaker side. the cold ice cream was nice in the warm, fresh trdelník part and the strawberry and nutella filling at the bottom was a nice balance. the trdelník itself is a bit crunchy/dense and tastes more like bread than a churro. it’s quite messy to eat (eat the ice cream with a spoon and then attempt to bite the rest?) but i am glad i tried it this one time. prices here seem higher than other places but wanted to try the “best” place. i think i’d prefer if the ice cream had a stronger flavor and the trdelník part was less hard.

The staff is really great! I have been there several times now and the people there are really friendly and all of them could serve us in several languages. They were also very attentive and prepared delicious tredelinks for us. These were really well made and I would go there again and again :)

As far as the actual bread of the trdelník, definitely the best one I have had in Prague or Brno so far. Could be filled with a little more berries, however. If you like trdelník, this is definitely a brilliant spot.

Best trdelnik in Pragues and we tasted a lot of them! It's really near the center so if you want to have a trdelnik just skip the one in the center and go there, the coffee is also very good and the people are also super nice :) Meilleur trdnelnik de Pragues!!

The strawberry and Nutella chimney cake was phenomenal!! It is not overly sweet and a perfect snack. I will definitely come back to try the coffee and other flavors.

An opportunity for a tasty Kosher Trdelník, including several non dairy options. The shop has formal Kosher supervision and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Open until 6pm at the time of this review.

Delicious local warm cinnamon treat in the shape of a ring or cone. I had the one with Nutella and ice cream inside. Very filling and a huge portion, but not something that can be easily shared. It would be really nice if they could offer a slightly smaller size.

Yuuuummy! Fresh, nice, tastes like heaven! The best trdelnik ever. I got strawberry and Nutella one day and Apfelstrudel the other day. In both cases the dough had a lovely, but not hard, rather subtle crunch on the outside and was soft, delicate and pleasantly warm inside. They really got the proportions right. :) They were also pretty generous with fruits and nutella. The ice-cream tasted good and had nice texture. And the staff was genuinely nice! :)

Great place to try Trdelnik! It’s huge, fresh and delicious. The stuffed trdelnik are very big and hard to finish when you have a normal stomach ahah. I had the apple strudel one with ice cream and that was very good !

This is the BEST Trdelnik I’ve ever had in my entire life. And also probably the best service. The lady and her daughter are just amazing, the trdelnik fresh and warm. The bueno Creme literally tastes like the original. Please come here if you want to eat this speciality. ❤️

Really great trdelnik! Not exactly what I was expecting. I was hoping for something that tasted like a churro/donut, but they actually taste a lot simpler - more like really soft bread that needs the topping (kinder bueno and white chocolate in our case) for it to taste good. I think mine might have also been a little burned because the shell had a really bitter taste that I was having to eat around. They also put a napkin around them, which sticks to the trdelnik like glue, so we had to eat around that as well. Nonetheless, my boyfriend really loved his. The iced coffee was great from here too! Kind and efficient service - the line goes quick!

Best Trdelnik in Prague. It tasted delicious and sweet. I suggest getting the one with ice cream. The chimney cake itself was very well made. Located perfectly to have a nice break in between visiting the attractions in Jewish Quarter. The staff was nice and very friendly.

Really nice little place to get a great piece of trdelnik! This chimney cake was fluffy, crunchy and exactly what I wanted to eat when I visited prague. The outer layer was really crunchy and had a nice sugar-cinnamon coat on it, really enjoyed it there.
