you can always go here for an old-fashioned rude treatment. there is not another customer in the shop and the entire staff is talking to each other. I ask where I can find something and they point out further… you have to look for it yourself… none of the staff who have nothing to do walking with you. at the cash register you always get scolded, you always did something wrong and you are told that very grumpy And aggressively. at Hornbach a kilometer away they are much more customer friendly.

Obi Market for DYI on Czech offering all kind of home and garden stuff. Great selection for your home activities. Really great prices aswell. Sort of Bauhaus type. But more into gardening flowers and sanitary.

Never more, as a customer, you are disturbing employees. They are nervou and unpolite. My order was not prepared at all.

Good range of goods. Prices generally a bit lower than Hornbach (which you can find close by), but then the quality may be a bit lower too. Staff ok, but don't speak English (at least the store detective who once accused me of theft was courteous once he realised his mistake). Large parking outside. Don't get scared by the planes passing overhead on their way to Prague airport.

Great hobby store. Not crowded! Much less people than in Hornbach, for example! Great brands such as Black and Decker sold here. Hornbach does not sell these. Easy going shopping, without the crowds.

My first online order and pick-up went smoothly. Then, yesterday I arrived to pick up two orders after I got my confirmation e-mail days before. (The Obi webshop obviously can't handle non-Czech phone numbers, so no text message.) One of them was prepared, but for the other one, I had to wait 40 minutes until they collected everything and one of the workers wasn't very helpful at all. My Czech is very poor, but still, they didn't really seem to be any assistance at all. Her colleague was OK, and after a huge while, she explained my that one of my products is only available in pairs (it was fine), and a lamp was the last piece in store (also fine, I got a discount, too, which is nice). Overall, I have no F-ing idea what took them almost an hour, and why this problematic order wasn't prepared like the other. Also, it would be nice to always have someone with minimal English knowledge to be at the counter, I moved here recently. Obi stores are good, but you can prey that your webshop pick-up goes nicely.

Good hobby shop that lacks in the garden department - you would be better to go to a specialised one as the iptions here are really limited.

Cheap and best products

All online orders went fine every time I ordered. The only thing is that it can take time, even when you have it ready, just to pick it up. Still like to store though :)

Shopping for painting the hall.. not so crowded like hornbach

Employess are nice, but the service is VERY unprofessional. I went here for renting. I used their reservation system to reserve, however got nothing from them, then I go directly to the shop to pick up. They say their rental department is temporarily closed. If the rental department is closed, then shouldn't the system be closed as well? I know this is not the employee's fault, but OBI's system has a bug in this. Fortunately the workers are nice and find me a way to solve it. I gave them two stars for this. But please be aware if you want to rent something in urgency. You probably won't get the things you want in time or just non-available. SHould really improve this.

There was abysmal customer service here. I could not find anyone willing to help me find what I was looking for. I approached several employees in my quest around the store but they all seemed disgruntled and completely unhelpful. One man wouldn’t even make eye contact, when I asked for help in Czech he just shook his head.

Tuhle pobočku bych zrušil. Nikdo vam neporadi a kdyz jo, tak blbe. Pri vraceni zbozi je obsluha neprijemna. Navic mi za 20cm hadice uctovali 1metr, coz pry normalne nedelaji. Dozvedel jsem se to nahodou pri vraceni zbozi. Hadice ale vratit nejde a to ze mi uctovali o 80cm navic nikdo resit nechtel. Uz jsem nikdy neprijdu

I think the prices at OBI are high as compared to BAUHAUS. I may be wrong but I feel that way because I shopped at both stores.

Pan Michal was extremely unpleasant, not helpful and prefer to talk with colleagues than to serve clients. Client service is unexisting.

I am dissatisfied and disappointed. The stock shown on the website did not match the reality.

I come here for plants and they are the most nice for the best prices.

My favourite place to go for BBQ range and buying plants and pots ! Staff is very friendly, could speak some English too !
