Good food and portions. Just make sure you make a reservation in advance otherwise you might miss out on the experience. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation if you don’t speak the language (I called and made a reservation in English). During the weekend a lot of restaurants have live music. It’s not possible to have a glass of wine only a whole bottle not even a small bottle is possible.

Excellent Restaurant with nice traditional music from Cabo Verde. The place to be in Praia. Food is great quality for a fair price. Service is very fast. I would even say that this music Restaurant is a very cosy place. Do not forget to reserve your table in advance because this place is always crowded and full. Number one on TripAdvisor as well for this city. No negative points to mention here. The five stars are well deserved.

Lieu assez particulier, c'est une plaque tournante du tourisme et non pas un lieu de vie local. Manque de charme et d'authenticité.

Really delicious food, we had the octopus rice stew and the steak. Both were delicious. Incredible music and a really friendly atmosphere of music lovers. We spotted the guitarist on the TV later that week.

Wanted to enjoy the live music while having a drink. After being seated, the water was not amused at all once we mentioned that we only came for drinks, furthermore he pointed out pretty harsh that it is minimum consumption of 1500$ per person. We asked whether there is a opportunity to just sit in the back part at the bar, but there wasn't. We didn't feel welcomed here and left. Besides there were exclusively tourists in this place, definitely a lack of authenticity!

Very good music/entertainment, mediocre food (partly raw) and terrible service. All things considered an 'okay' experience saved mostly by the live entertainment.

Since going there - i know why they have been around for such a long time. Great service, really great food (i recommend the 'cabrito' - so tender) and awesome atmosphere with exceptional music! We were lucky to get one last table without a reservation on a thursday night - i imagine that's the exception.

We got the recommendation from our tourguide and also our booklet. Unfortunately, we can‘t get the hype. The waiter was super unfriendly and it was way too hot in there. We had chicken and tuna which unfortunately both were absolutely overcooked and very dry. Also note that you must reach minimum consumation expense otherwise you pay 1500 cve. Which I had to pay as I gave back my bone-dry chicken. Unfortunately I didn‘t notice when getting the bill. Just have a drink there and leave.

We came here on Saturday evening. Not hungry but wanted to listen to some live music. The band was great but the atmosphere created by a staff was even better. Waiters are unique and very friendly. Meals look delicious, sincerely recommended.

Great Live Music, Excellent Service, Great Drinks and Good Food. This place was recommended by a couple of different local people and it did not disappoint. The music was just fantastic - two amazing guitarists and a singer with a beautiful voice. You pay a bit extra for the food (mains mostly 1800-2000 but pasta for 10000) but it was well worth it and the food itself was very tasty. The drinks were excellent and the service was impeccable. Music started around 8:30 or 9 and you should make a reservation via FB as it was totally full by music time.

Very nice place with perfect live music which makes the atmosphere of the restaurant very delightful. It can get a bit warm inside, but you dont mind that because the great music and excellent food will compensate for it. We had a fish cream soup and vegetable cream. Both were a poem for the tongue. Main dishes, surimi rise and prawns, both super tasty. Very much recommended place!
