    Good place to stay. It’s a great location. The service you get could not be better. They have free breakfast, with some really good waffles. The biscuits & gravy are not good though. They need some spices, they need to learn how to cook biscuits. Overall we rest enjoyed our stay though, & we will be back.

    My family spent the weekend at this hotel. The location was great and convenient. The area felt safe. Rooms were comfortable. The pool was fun. Breakfast stayed well stocked even though there were alot of people coming last minute. We got fresh baked cookies and fruit as a Complimentary snack in the evening. We have enjoyed all of our stays at Hampton Inn. Great hotel. Thank you!

    This was one of the cleaner Hamptons of stayed at. The breakfast starts at 0700 which is to late in the AM for people business customers. They do have a small workout gym. They have laundry on side with 2 washers 2 dryers. The hotel was clean. Hilton Honors nothing mentioned.

    Checked in shortly after 3pm (booked the room online) - we brought our fur baby with us as well. We booked the king bed w/study, which included a microwave, fridge, & sofa bed. Clean hotel and friendly staff! Breakfast was yummy. 10/10 recommend & we will definitely book again for any future needs! Thank you Hampton Inn!!!

    Front desk staff were attentive, helpful, and answered the phone without long waits. Free breakfast was good and usually consisted of eggs, polish sausage pieces, potatoes, options of bread items (English muffin, bagel, etc), yogurt, waffles (regular or mini size), fruit cups, and fresh fruit. Coffee available all day in the lobby. Rooms were clean and offered storage and spaciousness. Fresh cookies were available in early evening for guests after arriving back from work/excursions. Never had an issue with the room key not working or becoming demagnitized.

    BEWARE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE CAMERAS IN PARKING LOT. Truck broken into Sunday night. We parked in front under a big light. I had seen a guy walking down the street that night, with backpack & looking over at us when we pulled up. I felt he was watching us& should have gone with my gut feeling. Anyways Cop tells me after the break in. that a homeless couple lives in the woods. They have been stealing things& causing issues. What started out has a nice place to stay for the Big NIC Volleyball tournament turned out to be not so great. Yes the rooms are clean & beds comfortable, the hotel has NO outside Security. If I would have known we wouldn't have .stayed here.

    This Hampton Inn seems like the others I've visited. The lobby has been renovated and appears bright and cheerful. With an overpowering aroma of air freshener, the management, however, appears to believe that it is that main sales floor for a new neighborhood being developed in Everglades Florida. The room was clean and welcoming. I'm guessing it was newly renovated as well. The room also suffered from the overflowing aroma of room freshener. The bed was quite hard. I'm not fond of Fox news nor is ESPN on my list of favorites. In both cases they present shrill voices arguing with one another. Why start your day with that stress. What was playing on the two very large TV's in the breakfast area? Fox News was on one TV and ESPN was on the other. I'm not impressed. The breakfast area, also newly renovated, is bright and cheerful. The breakfast offerings were hot and plentiful. Some of the labeling of breakfast items was a bit confusing. (Please see photo) Our stay was pleasant once the aroma cleared a bit.

    We have been traveling a lot lately. This hotel is probably the best we've been in this year. It was clean, safe, everything worked for the most part. Staff was friendly until the last day.. Again, room was clean and comfortbale, hot water, nice water pressure, good view, plenty of storage and plug ins...it was great. Couple of small annoyances...the water did not drain well in the shower. Taking a normal, 10 min shower, the water would be over your ankle....but not a huge deal. The AC kept the room cool, but not cold. I get that it was 100 degrees outside, so it's not a huge deal,but it may need to be looked at. Biggest problem was...the next to last day of our stay we asked for a late checkout at the front desk. They asked us when we would like to check out, we said noon....they advised that would be fine. Then the last day of our stay..sitting in our room around 11:15 we get a knock on our door asking if we needed more time..explained we asked for a late checkout..and she said nobody told her etc.... not a huge deal, just kinda annoying. But all in all, we would gladly stay here again

    The hotel and rooms are great, and a great location....lower rating is because although they have no control over it....a car in the lot right outside our window, the alarm went off every half hour till 3 am two of the three nights we were there.

    I have stayed at this location many times when I travel here for business, and it never disappoints. The staff is super friendly and it is always clean and welcoming. The breakfast available in the morning is also great.

    This Hampton location met all expectations. My room was very clean and put together with a very friendly and helpful staff any time I needed anything. Breakfast wasn't a 5 course meal, but was hot and on time every morning. Omelette's, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc. I was extremely satisfied with my 5 day stay and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a stay in the Overland Park area.

    Very clean and cozy! Staff was very friendly. Located in a safe neighborhood. The only downfall was that there was no indoor pool and I did not notice that when booking so that was my mistake.

    Rooms are decent for a budget hotel. Feels more like staying in a la Quinta or Clarion Hotel. Definitely nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable.

    The good: Staff was very nice, room was clean, pool was in good condition, AC works well, breakfast was good and went from 6am-10am which is awesome. The bad: If you value quiet and need it to sleep do not stay here, especially during the weekend. Walls/doors are paper thin. You can hear everything as clear as day from people talking in the hallway to the person above you peeing. The the towels are tiny. The ones we got when we first checked in were fine but the ones at the pool and the extras we got were hand towel sized and not soft at all. This is not necessarily bad but this is a very kid friendly hotel and unfortunately we got put on the first floor in an adjoining room to the event room and sharing the hallway with a very noisy family whose kids enjoyed playing ding dong ditch.

    I am not sure the stay could have been any more perfect than it was. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were amazed at the amazing experience and ambience. The concierge was very welcoming and personable. If we had an issue, it was quickly addressed. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the environment and the amazing rooms, with no issues noted on our end. Will definitely be coming back

    If I'm ever in Kansas again, I will definitely stay here!! 1- BEDS ARE COMFY and the rooms don't stink!! 1- they service your room daily!! 😊 1- the entire staff is so friendly and they're truly here to make sure you're comfortable. 1- it's QUIET and I love it!

    Close to restaurants. Pool was in great shape. Breakfast was done very well for free breakfast. Front desk, Frankie was super polite, helpful and very nice. She was great!

    Great customer service in a great part of town to get around KC easily. Hotel could use a little TLC. Rooms clean but shower not great. Pillows a little older. Noise in hallways could get loud. But a great start overall.

    Welcoming and accommodating staff. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. All amenities; lobby, pool, breakfast, etc were above average from what I’ve experienced lately. The room was a smaller style room, however is was plenty adequate for us and included a fridge and microwave which is nice. I would have no reservation recommending this hotel if it’s what you are looking for, we would absolutely stay here again.

    I really enjoyed staying at this Hampton Inn. Everything was clean and neither new or recently renovated. It was a perfect stop for me and my family with a pool and plenty of dining options in the area. The guest services representative, Shay, was very helpful and made me feel like I mattered as a guest. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, single or with a family.

    Great Experience, Great staff. Chris checked me out and even after checking out he helped me. Lilianna in housekeeping was great. Housekeeping us great. The room was so comfortable and inviting. The bathroom light makes no noise. Bed comfortable ❤️🙏🏾💖 It was so quiet 🤫 And breakfast was over the top. Will certainly stay again. Book early

    A sight for sore eyes after a 6 1/2 hours on the road drive. Always soft beds and bedding. Always clean and comfortable. We search for Hampton Inns all across this great country. Very nice brunch, we left with nice full bellies. No problems, so it's worthy of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    The only complaint we had was the hot tub was no longer there lol. Our room was clean, the staff was super sweet, breakfast was awesome, the pool was clean & the price was fair. We will definitely be back.

    It's okay, can't give this hotel any extra stars. It's not a 5 ⭐ hotel. It's a establishment for a overnight stay. Clean room and bathroom upon arrival. There's no upgrading your room, (I asked) no restaurant or coffee shop, no microwave in the rooms, limited seating in room (I asked for an additional chair they didn't have one). Nearby restaurants, fast food eateries and stores closed by 9. There's nothing to write about. They will clean your room if you request by 11:00 if not will need to take out your own trash.

    First time here. Everything was nice and staff very attentive. The morning breakfast area was open and the staff in that area were great. They kept all the food and drink items filled up and they we're doing a great job. I know I'll be returning as my daughter and son-in-law just moved to the area.

    Very clean, friendly staff, room was at a comfortable temperature upon check-in. Refrigerator worked well. Worth every penny. I had stayed at the Shawnee-Mission location the previous two nights and was surprised that location only served breakfast until 9am, but this one served until 10am like 99% of the Hampton Inns we’ve stayed in. The beds are always very comfortable, plenty of pillows & towels were provided, I felt safe, and the food selection good whether you want to sit and relax while you enjoy your breakfast (eggs, sausage, cereals, juices, yogurt, waffle maker…this location has TWO waffle makers so you don’t have to wait as long for your turn!) or grab something quick (bagel w/cream cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit) as you head out the door. Compared to the location I’d stayed at the previous two nights, this location was much more Covid-cautious if that is helpful to anyone reading this. Foods were individually wrapped, each slice of bread was in a ziploc baggie, bagels were individually (commercially) packaged, danishes were Saran-wrapped, etc. Some of it seemed like a bit of overkill and maybe it’s a different county mandate or just the manager’s preference, but the difference between the two locations was really big considering how close they are to each other. (And I did still appreciate the effort to make Covid-conscious people feel safer.) Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely stay in this location again.

    This is a great hotel--the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The grounds were immaculately kept. The rooms spotless. Even the hall carpets, elevators and exercise room were amazingly clean. The recycle bins and trash cans had been wiped! I was also impressed with the layout of the rooms and the pleasant attitude of the staff. I will always stay in this hotel when in the Kansas City area.

    Really nice hotel, must have been renovated recently. If you're checking in late, be prepared to have to wake the staff up to check in. Stood at the front desk for a solid 10min. Had to start ringing their phones to get checked in. Annoying after traveling all day, but at least I got to rest in a nice room after.

    Very impressed with this hotel. It’s the little touches that made our stay so great. May be the cleanest room I have ever scene. The furnishings were well kept, bed impeccably made, and bathroom stocked with all the essentials. I loved all the charging ports for our devices and how the entry light switch and the one in the bathroom was illuminated. Efficient staff and a good breakfast spread makes this a no brainer.

    Room was very clean and they came in everyday to clean it. Everyone at the desk was very nice and helped with any questions I had. They always greeted me when I came in. Overall my stay here was great.

    This hotel is not safe. My catalytic converter was cut out of my vehicle overnight in the parking lot. This hotel does not have any security or surveillance. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere well lit with security and/or surveillance.

    The People were very nice. I felt it was over priced for the condition of the room. We normally stay at the Hampton Inn by Grandview, MO. We were told there were no available rooms. That location is closer to family members.

    Worst service I have ever experienced and management barely apologized. Checked out 2 days early in tears after speaking with them and not having slept well after being cussed out by a staff member. All were rude and unapologetic, blamed me (since I responded). She was intimidating and I felt like she was going to follow me when I walked away which made it an uncomfortable night, fearing for my safety

    We only stayed overnight but it was a very beautiful, clean property. The rooms were clean and the beds/pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower was perfect and a nice variety at breakfast.

    When I travel on business, I use Hilton hotels for the variety of hotels they offer, the amenities and their app. I can check in and out without having to go to the front desk which is so convenient especially late at night. The one constant issue I have with the Hiltons I’ve stayed at is housekeeping. The rooms are not cleaned thoroughly. Dirt and dust in places. Hair on the bathroom floor. No one is properly checking the rooms after their cleaned to make sure their cleaned. If anyone has seen “Hotel impossible”, you should know how to clean a room. I stayed here for two nights. I complained after the first night about the hair the dirt and the dirty footprint on the bathroom floor. I came back after a long day of work to find my bathroom still the way it was when I originally found it. I was too exhausted to start making complaints but hopefully Hilton will start listening to their paying customers. After this trip I think I might be changing my hotel brand.

    Having the pool near our room was....interesting. The loudness of the pool people wasn't great for sleeping. If you stay here and want quiet. Request rooms away from the pool area.

    I have stayed here many, many times over the past years, and have never been disappointed. Even during the Covid fiasco- this Hampton has always been top-notch
